Well, my busy days are back again! (I am not saying this in any excited mood) Yup, those night-outs at office and discos and bowling! Well, looks like ‘history repeats’!! Anywayz, this time the project deadline is a bit too fast: 20th Feb. Our team has to work on general ledgers and accounting and has to come out with some ‘innovative’ ideas so as to reduce the processing time for ‘End of Cycle’. Well, mostly involves doing some head-breaking on interests and charges and accruals!
Well, I wont bore you ppl with these terminologies…
Yesterday morning I had a call from one of my friends.
V: hi gans, how are you doing?
Me: Quite fine. How abt you? long time no see, no hear!!
V: I’m fine. Btw, there is a project deadline for you.
Me: Yet another!
V: well, you need to quickly find out a gal to whom you shall send roses for VDay!
Me: Huh?
(He hangs up the phone)
I sat confused! yeh kya ho raha hai!!
Then I came to know that he is involved in some distribution of roses…may be getting a commission from Archies or Hallmark or something! Good line of business, though! Call it ‘direct selling’ or rather ‘direct and forced selling’… hehehe…..
Btw, today I got an email from one of European tourists I had met during my Rajasthan trip! :D
