Freedom and Control OK, a lot of you have been hearing about this. For anyone who's still interested, I've finally posted the background fic for Brad and Schuldig that Jami and I have been writing. I ended up posting it on my GJ, partly because I didn't want to spam the game, so I'm posting the links here. Blame me for the stupid chapter titles. [EDITED TO ADD] Sorry, forgot the warnings. They're on the first chapter, but I just realized that when you click on the link, it doesn't show them unless you scroll UP. This fic is rated NC-17 for graphic sex, mature themes, drug use and more graphic sex. A Quick Announcement *glomps everyone* Due to some OOC concerns about some IC angst, we're doing a small compression of the New York Mission. Please ignore the timetags up until this point... they're wrong. Basically we're considering that they left at the same time as originally established, but that less time was taken for research and basic screwing around. Everything for the mission's been written, and I'm just waiting for something to be posted before I toss it up for public perusal. Everything in New York is going to have gone down no later than the 28th of August, to give Omi a day or two to get home before he starts school on the 1st of September. And yes, we know that the Japanese school system is being slightly fudged. Nagi and Omi are starting school at the beginning of a cycle, but not at the beginning of a year - again due to OOC considerations. Sincere apologies for the fudging. Current Mood: geeky |

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY I will no longer be able to check any of my journals or emails from work, except during my scheduled breaks if then. Things have taken a serious turn at work and I really have to focus on keeping my job. I apologize that this is going to make me even more inaccessable during my work week but things are such in my active RP's that I can try to catch up after work and on my days off. If anyone does need me, this is my schedule: Sat-Sun-Mon-Tues 11AM - 10PM EST Off days: Wed-Thurs-Fri Sorry again for any inconvenience this causes to other players. The Phone Call - Schu and Omi Due to the blackout, the log of the phone call between Schu and Omi was lost. Since it's not really relevant to anyone but the two of us, and since it would be impossible to reconstruct, we're just going to let it stay lost. Basically Schu called, tried to tell Omi that he DID actually care about Omi, Omi got snarky and lashed out, Omi discovered that Brad and Schu are sleeping together and lashed out more, Schu got defensive, then Omi said he didn't want to fight about it any more and wished Schu luck with Brad. Sincerely, even, which confused Schu. Then Omi hung up, cried, and probably went to Kei for a hug in the end. That's about it. Emotionally disturbed bishounen, here... he's hurt and lashing out at the source of the pain, not too surprising. Current Mood: aggravated |

I have a favor to ask. I realize that it might be a bit difficult, but I'm starting to get confused. We have two different timelines of activity here. I think to prevent any more confusion the three "groups" operating together at this point need to put together a quick rundown of the events posted so far and the times they occur. I'm worried about overlap, and screwed up timing in some cases. Case in point, Brad hasn't left Thailand at the time I thought he had, or has he? I can't be sure now, and I don't want any 'players' to get the wrong idea about things that Ken is doing and his not even bothering to say goodbye to Brad. (And believe me, that can and will color character perceptions) But in the interest of time so that we weren't bogging anything down or holding up the timeline, I was willing to handle certain things administratively. So here it is the 14th, and I'm plunging ahead in current time. If there is something I need to know about whos wheres and what not, I would like to be informed. I don't mind taking the Thailand folks, and Birman, if someone could handle the Schu/Brad time and the Japan time to include Nagi. I don't mean to be a pill, but I am just trying to prevent overlap confusion. Unless no one cares about the timing, in which case, don't mind me. I'll just be over here in the corner doing my own happy thing. [grins] |

New digs. Just a note for those who live in the new house, since I'm not sure Jami and I will ever finish the chat that described the new building. *sweatdrop* Here's how I envision it: Jami can correct me if I've remembered any of the details wrong. It's a large house on spacious grounds, surrounded by a high security fence. It belonged to one of Takatori Reiji's more prominent political lackeys, who fell from power when Takatori was killed. It's a traditional style house - rice paper walls, tatami mats, the whole deal. What had once been the bedrooms and guest suites are now converted into individual apartments. Each has a door into the main house, and a door that leads directly outside. Each has its own full bathroom and rudimentary kitchen facilities. The walls between the apartments have been reinforced and soundproofed - the rice paper is just a screen over the real walls, so we won't be hearing each other. ^_^ In the main house there is a much larger kitchen, a tradiational Japanese style bathing room with a soaking tub that is large enough for several people at once, a room that's been converted into the computer room for Nagi and Omi, a security control room, and the normal sort of stuff like laundry facilities, etc. There's lots of empty rooms to be converted into whatever we need later... briefing rooms, whatever. There are other buildings... what used to belong to servants and such. They've been converted into an archery and gun range, a dojo-style practice room with all sorts of equipment for training, a fully-stocked gym for working out, etc. Kei, Omi and Nagi moved in on the 30th/31st, and Kei and Omi have been there ever since. The three of them are the only ones with the code to the security systems, which are top of the line and were put in place by Omi with an eye to keeping a trained team like Weiss OUT. Morning After... Kei & Aya Way back when, we (Miyaka and I) made a reservation for the morning after the sleepover scene between the two siblings. We rp'd the scene.. and since then both Miyaka and my computers have conspired against us and it appears that the scene has gone bye-bye. Since it only affected us and we more or less recalled the important bits, we're just going to post at the old reservation a rough summary of what happened between us.
