Had a good time with florence and michelle last night. Wanted to go straight home after school, but michelle called just when the train stopped at yewtee. So well, i decided to meet her instead of going home to do my laundry.

Played a bit of Warcraft till around 10 when we met florence. Had a nice "dinner" at swensens. It's kind of like a treat from florence. Although the outing was quite fun on the overall, there's still a feeling of "something-not-quite-right" in my heart the whole night bah.

Was quite disappointed with the way one of my friend I considered quite important in my life handled a situation he is in. But well, understandably so, we are all human. Escaping the problem is the easiest way to "solve" the problem--at least for a while.

I really admire people who keep growing--in all directions. I would want to be someone like that. So here's a list of somethings i would like to possess in the future.

1. Ablity to face the problems head on, and not escaping it.
2. Dealing with the problem the best way--sometimes not facing it head on is the best way to handle a problem.
3. Wisdom to know which is the best way to deal with a problem.
4. Humilty
5. Love for all. This is the really hard one. Try liking someone who just bitched you in front of all your friends last night.
6. Be the change i want to see in people.
7. Ability to emphatise and listen to people.
8. Confident.
9. Secure.
10. Kind.
11. Loving.

So many people have lived and died on this earth. All of us has the desire to be great. So what is the definition of "greatness" We know power does not equate greatness as we certainly do not think of Hilter as someone "great" in a good way. Wealth certainly does not equate to greatness as there's so many people with so much wealth and yet not called great. Being christian, muslim, buddist doesn't makes you great. Even Alexander the great wasn't so great after all.

But no one would argue with you that Mother Theresa is great. No one would argue with you that Mohd Gandhi was great. I would conclude that being truly great means to be of service to all mankind?

I believe the truly great is the one who loves people. And love is a verb.

No wonder they call Jesus great. If he indeed really loved everyone--sinner or saint.
