Trying to pretend I'm talented... ain't workin'... Okay, there's something in my school called the literary magazine. And they are a bit desperate. "A bit." haha. They are so desperate they make my admiration of Alex look good. They needed poems. So Lisa, one of the people running it, came to me. And I gave her two poems, "anonymously." Now she needs pictures. Damn. I never claimed to be an artist, and I still don't. But I'll try, just for Lisa. So I'm sitting here trying to draw a picture of Alex. (quit laughing, i know you are) Yeah. he looks horrible. Or at least my illustration does. It's so hard to capture him in a portrait. He has these dark eyes, that no matter how hard I try, I cannot emulate the mysterious, deep quality they have. Quite frankly, my drawing makes him look like a wide-eyed little kid. I wish I could draw. Damnit.
I love the song that I said was my current music. It's a guy singing about how all he wants from his longtime love is ... well... love. It's opening line is "Treat me like a fool, treat me mean and cruel, but love me." That's obviously how I feel for Alex. But my favorite lyric in this song is "I want your heart... beating close to mine." I don't know why but I found that so romantic.
Seeyah.
