the power of fear... [04 May 2009|08:25am]
I've been away for a while. Drug problems, family emergencies, quitting drugs, and moving around California...But here I am. At it once again. As I said I've been away. I went to my old town in the suburbs last week to visit some old friends and enemies. When I returned to my mountain retreat (haw haw haw), I began hearing this flood of talk about the so called "swine flu". I couldn't take it. Im often quite the alarmist myself; "Chemtrails! The New world order! Genetic engeneering!"...But this has gone quite a ways TOO FAR. First we had the fear of terrorism, then strange supposed pandemics/epidemics like SARS, Mad cow disease, and the avian (bird) flu. Now we have this looming "bad economy", which is staying bad because everyone keeps telling us how bad it is, and in turn we don't put any money into it....economics 101 people...

Then a bunch of people in a failed state (oh Im sorry...did I offend that pile of feces Mexico?) start dying, and we make it like we all need to be afraid. How about this?...Number one: wash your hands...number two: don't go to mexico....number three: don't fuck any pigs...four: if you get any flu symptoms, go to the doctor and get some tamaflu....or better yet, stay at home, eat some soup, and watch reruns of Gilligans Island.

Now some trivia....as of today, how many people in the United States have died from this "swine flu"? The answer?? ONE! One baby has died from it. Now I don't mean to minimize the death of a child. But firstly, babies, old people, and people with compromised immune systems (I.e. HIV) are much more prone to complications from any infection. Secondly, the baby was....YOU GUESSED IT!/..A Mexican National! Go fucking figure. Terrible health care services, filthy living conditions, close proximity to swine, remote areas without healthcare, no insurance...All contributing factors.

I do half apologize about bashing Mexico. I love its people, but the government, and majority of the country is notoriously FUBAR. That I will not apologize for. And if any Mexican citizens would like to disagree, first tell me why the number of your citizens entering the U.S. To live is so astronomical compared to our citizens entering Mexico.

But this is not meant to be a flame war. My point is not exclusive to one country, or one type of country. This problem of fear and control has no borders. Either consiously or unconsiously our leaders, and even our citizens are using fear tactics to keep us scared, and keep us in line. Has the "terror threat level" ever gone to a moderate level? No! Its always red, or orange or some other alarming, bright color. And how many times have we heard conflicting stories on the health risks and health benefits from coffee, chocolate, wine, eggs, marijuana, and so on? Any shoe bombs go off lately? Receive any white powder in the mail this month? (No, not your shipment of columbian cocaine you shithead!)

My point is simple. Why be afraid of these remote possibilities, when there are real things to worry about? How about instead of worrying about foreign extremists attacking us, we worry about the Presidential Cabinet which failed to stop their monkey asses? Or about the mass amount of domestic terrorists right here in our neighborhoods (bloods, crips, surenos/mexican mafia, aryan nations etc.)? Or what about cancer, Multiple scleroris, gunshot wounds, pollutants, chemicals in everything we eat, dog bites etc.?

I say, don't worry about anything you can't control more than necessart. But if you want to be a paranoid motherfucker, then atleast be paranoid about things that are likely to affect you. I will guarantee right now, none of you reading this will ever get the swine flu. So turn off your computer/t.v./radio, go outside, and have a good day....Somewhere where the bastards can't reach you with their messages of doom and fear.

I am not afraid...and this is the foundation of my liberty.

Timmy McVeigh

Animal Liberation: The unseen truth about glue traps for rodents, and small birds. [10 Mar 2009|08:58pm]
NOTICE!!!!!!!!: I don't care about negative, naysayer, neanderthal comments. Your angry and/or flippent comments mean nothing to me. I am sharp enough to know that animal cruelty in any degree is morally wrong. I have known it since I was a young child. There will be no comments allowed on this blog entry. Please send positive comments, factual or grammatical corrections, and inquiries (questions) about glue traps, traps in general, or animal rights/animal liberation to ehcourtsonmirrorcults@yahoo.com, thank you. - TimothyXMcVeigh
___________________________
Well I had a great day yesterday! I got to experience the wonderful afterstink of "humanity"'s way of ridding their life of inconveniences, no matter how minor, with lazy, ultimately cruel methods.

I was outside the methadone clinic in downtown L.A., on Beverly and Alvarado Blvd...I was going to check on my girlfriend and my dog, who was in the car waiting. It's kind of a scummy area, full of theives, junkies, cokeheads, alcoholics, tweekers, burnouts, toothless prostitutes, homeless people, drug dealers, career criminals and so on. So, being in that world for those few years gave me enough insight into these people's thought process. An adorable, defensless, little chiuaua sitting alone in a car, can be quite a tempting item to steal and try to sell or trade for drugs etc.

Behind the car was what I thought to be a dead mouse (from it's scruffy appearence) in the gutter. I have always been an animal lover. It was a moral taught to me at a young age, which parent's today don't "have the time" for.

I don't harness enough arrogance to believe it is my, or mankind's responsibility to assign different levels of importance to different species. It is a vile form of judgement. Something you would expect our supposed Christian based nation would realize. But I know, as a strong admirer of Jesus (or more correctly "Yehewah" or "Yehwah", according to many biblical linguists), hypocrisy runs deep and wide in this faith of love, forgiveness, and abstinence from judging others. There is no love, forgiveness, or absence of judgement in what I am speaking of.

So as I looked at the poor soul, I realized it was not dead. Instead it was alive, scared, and stuck to a "glue trap".

I spent an hour sitting on the sidewalk trying to free it with a stick. Once off the board I got to view the full extent of it's injuries. Bloody mouth (probably missing it's teeth after the trap's wrath), patches of fur torn off, and apparent broken feet.

I used water, and lotion to try and wash the glue off, but the best I could do was put it in a safe place to die with dignity, in peace. I would like to imagine my efforts lead to the mouse living it's life in the city of angels (HA!!!), eating crumbs and raising a family.
But the cold reality is that it was probably so crippled/disfigured from trying to free itself, and so covered in this glue, that survival was very unlikely. I pray to god this is not the case. But I cannot pretend I saved a life. The most I knew how to do was free it from it's extensive misery.

I wasn't going to even write this blog at first. Reliving this experience (or any one of many horrible atrocities I have seen committed against the voiceless) is not easy for me. But I thought "First off people need to know the truth, and secondly - as much pain as it may cause me to remember the incident, I couldn't even fathom how much pain the incident caused the animal". I had to practice what I preach and be a voice for the voiceless.

But this is the extent of what I can say about this. For what you really need to know I am providing this link>>> http://www.idausa.org/facts/gluefacts.html <<<<<.

But I think you should all take the time to reconsider your set of morals. Do you disapprove of murder? Torture? Do you consider yourself a good person? Do you believe that you are "spiritual" or "religious"?

If so you may want to think very hard about issues of equality, animal rights, freedom and liberty, morality, hypocrisy, torture, the link between our treament of so called "lower species" and that of our treatment of other humans (I.e. The psychological consensus that violent criminals, such as serial killers, often had some sort of history of animal abuse...I believe they miss many cases of animal abuse due to varying reasons such as not actually being convicted or charged at all with animal cruelty), etc.

Most of all, don't use traps for pests of any kind unless they only catch the "pest" (without glue or tape or any vile adhesive). And if you are so lazy, ignorant, and cruel that you feel you must use these horible contraptions, use a simple spring loaded trap. Atleast it's just first degree murder instead of torture, and third degree murder (fucking neanderthal).

As Dr. Laura would say... "NOW DO THE RIGHT THING".

A First and final warning towards bots, spammers etc. [07 Mar 2009|07:10pm]
I have been deleting advertisements for a certain UGGly boot wholesale company posted as comments, and even more bullshit in my mailbox. First off I would never and have never bought something or gone to a website or even read a message/email from bots or spammers.
Not only because my Zen buddhist beliefs make me immune to shameless plugs and alternative advertising/promotion, but out of principle.
Besides this, the email I sign up for things with is not an email address I use for communication, unless I don't trust the person.

I work off a public computer, so hacking and viruses/worms are useless, except to hurt small businesses and public libraries.

But out of principle, I am tired of this embarassing, useless, and abusive tactic of advertising or entertainment.

If you think you're the only ones out there who know how to violate people's privacy, and abuse the freedom on the internet. I have been hacking, along with friends and fellow anarcho-libertarian associates since 1996! I was there for the first IP sniffer, warez, viruses, and was building bots before anyone really thought to use them for advertisement and harrassment.

I don't like to make empty threats, so I will make a full one! Any computer, network, IP address, email, or handles which I link to this abuse WILL be relentlessly attacked by some of the most experienced hackers in the States, some of who have done prison time for entering government websites, businesses etc.

I know this will not stop spamming in general, let alone will it stop completely with me.
But since I purposely leave myself unprotected in many ways out of trust (except anything which could connect my identity with my online handles) for my fellow bloggers and anti government comrades - I will no longer simply delete the message.

I hope for your own sake you read this before one of your bots or employed spammers ("spam artists") targets me again. Even once.

You may be a bully, but I am a bigger bully. You may be smart, but I am smarter. You may have "people", but I have atleast the same numbers as you.

Take this warning seriously, or don't. The choice is always yours.

This "policy" will begin April 1st 2009 at midnight to give you time to remove my handle and email address.....since I'm such a nice fucker.

Tax Revolt/Total Recall 2009! [07 Mar 2009|06:09pm]
[ mood | Like we're being buttfucked ]
[ music | Cannibal Ox 'cold vein', beastie boys 'paul's botique' ]

Tax revolt/total recall 2009! NOTE: This is a preface to the blog to quickly explain my political and social standing, to lower the chances of seeming like a blatant hypocrite. If you trust that my viewpoints have been carefully chosen and assmbled, and that after a long explanation not hypocritical then skip the preface and start at the paragraph marked with "THE LOWDOWN ON THE CALIFORNIA TOTAL RECALL 2009"

Liberal and conservative have truly lost their original values since their inception. Conservative now means rich, white, jesus freak, homosexual hating, war mongerers. Liberal now means big government, federal over state and local government rights, gun control, vastly flawed and wasteful social programs (In government run society - I believe certain social programs such as abandoned baby programs, disability for the truly disabled etc. Are morally necessary, or atleast fair. It is food stamps and welfare and low income housing for crackheads with 7 kids and no baby daddy, or scam artists on disability for disorders that they caused, or faked, or exagerated, or those who buy cigarettes and lingerie with their tax funded financial assistance - that gets my goat), and global climate change scare tactics.

Thus when I speak of liberal, or conservative I am using the defenition of the actual words. Not what they have come to represent.

I am a liberal by nature. I believe in conserving taxes, conserving rights, conserving privacy, conserving energy, conserving natural resources, and conserving the constitution/civil rights. So in this sense I am a conservative. But I believe in liberal accepting of minorities, homosexuals, and the disabled. I believe in the liberal use of democracy and the free market. I believe in being liberal on the right to have an abortion (despite what I personally believe about the moral standing of non rape abortions). So in this case I am liberal.

"So what?" you may say. Well that was my long winded attempt at giving you a background on where exactly I stand, and why I may apparently contradict myself at times. It is the terminology and the bastardization of words that makes it hard to blog without sounding two faced. One blog conservative means this, one day it means that. One day I have input on our current system, the next I am speaking of the evils of the system, and eliminating it all together.

If you had all day I could explain exactly where my beliefs come from, how they can co-exist, and why they are not contradictory at all. But to keep this short (or atleast short for me) I will leave you with that general explanation in hopes it will help give my words some more instant validity....So read on!
__________________________
THE LOWDOWN ON THE CALIFORNIA TOTAL RECALL 2009>>>>>>>>>>>: If you live in Southern California, you have probably heard of the AM talk station KFI. It has long been associated with conservative, republican, and even the far right conspiracy theorist. Rush Limbaugh being the most prominent example. Tom Leykis used to do a political show on KFI before his LEYKIS 101 days. Tom is a libertarian though, and quite liberal for the station. While the station as a whole and few dj's blatantly associate themselves with the republican party, their point of view politically almost always aligns with the party.

But lately I have seen that the station has seemingly adopted many libertarian values. Specifically since the bank bailout, automobile industry bailout, tax stimulus plans, and large Californian tax hikes.

Two dj's john & Ken, who I have been at odds with in the past on many topics are the figureheads for this new change in values (or this recharging of the original republican party). They are specifically upset at the unfair tax hikes in one of the top highest taxed states in the nation (California), and the so called anti tax/fiscal conservatives who preached against raising taxes, many who signed the anti tax increase agreement, and then passed (directly or by inaction) these tax increases (such as the car tax, supposidely repealed by the governator).

Now where you stand politically, or what you think about the nation and california's insane tax hikes and insanely wasteful spending is irrelavent. It has to do with the principle of the matter.

But just incase you're braindead, Let's give a democrat example to make this easy for you to grasp.

Let's say a DNC candidate was running heavely on the issue of expanding low cost and free health care, and making sure every citizen would have health insurance. They spend the next years and/or months Shaking hands and kissing babies, visiting low income neighborhoods to show "they get us", making speeches left and right, and most importantly, raising funds for their campaign (Because you know these days you have to be wealthy and be able to convince lots of rich people to give you millions and millions of dollars if you want to even consider making a semi-respectable 3rd party run for president..."He who has the gold..", right?)

Now these cash doners (big and small), and campaign volunteers, and pledges for votes are doing what they're doing because of either you're platform, or a political promise of somekind (I.e. A favor here, bending the rules/law there).

Now let's assume that he wins the country's heart, and is elected president. If they then spend the next four years doing nothing about healthcare, and even doing things to thwart healthcare bills.

Is this not something which is wrong? Probably illegal on several different levels such as fraud or verbal contracts breached? Is it not something that deserves a punishment of some kind? Why are politicians seemingly exempt from laws pertaining to lying, fundraising, verbal contracts, fraud, laundering money, etc.?

The reupublican senate had to put three of their party's votes towards the California 2009 budget for the bill to pass. That's exactly what they got...three. It was an admitted strategy of the republican side of the senate to pass the budget, so if it works, they republicans are saints. And if it doesn't work, the vast majority of members of the republican senate are marters for fighting this wasteful bill.
How can this not be punished? If not by law, or by lawsuit, then for god's sake, recall his slimy ass!

Recalls require a certain amount of signatures to move onto it's action stage. For John and Ken's target Anthony Adams it is a 35,000 signature minimum. But to be safe they said during yesterday's "Heads on a Stick/Tax revolt" ummm..."party"...or maybe I mean.."angry mob" or an "organized tax mosh pit"...anyways..at their event they said they want 45,000 to be safe.

I am in many ways anti tax all together, but I do believe in many situations they are necessary to keep the country from going to shambles (a.k.a. Atleast half of the middle east), or being taken over by some little buttfuck country like Laus or Uzbekistan (no offense to the people of either country...but you're not exactly world military powers or anything).

I disagree completely with how taxes are collected, and how they are divided. I believe taxes should be voluntary, and if you don't choose to pay them you can't use the roads, have military protection, or access to 911 or emergency rooms, or disability, or unemployment etc. I also believe there should be tax elections held before it's time to hand over the money to elect the percentage of "revenue" that each program, or whatnot will get. How much for schools, how much for military, how much for social programs? Etc.
I also don't believe the government (primarily the federal government) should have such a personal relationship with the world. The people working in the governent tax department(s) should not have hidden motives driving their work. The taxation portion of a government if it exists at all should not be able to gain directly from their work except for their salary and benefits. In other words, robots.

But anyways, I support the recall of any members of the republican senate who had something substantial to do with passing these tax hikes, after being fiscal...or anti tax, or especially after signing the anti tax pledge. No Republican should be for tax hikes such as these, but especially the ones who's whole shtick is being fiscal, or anti tax...ha! It's like Larry Craig getting caught soliciting gay sex in an airport bathroom. Except these specific politicians we are speaking such as the governator are doing it out in public, more like Larry Craig wearing a rainbow flag shirt and tounge ring to his televised speeches.

This is shameless lying and finacially raping of not only the lower and middle class, but the wealthy who create most of the jobs that all three classes work. This is saying one thing for votes, then using the system for your own gains with no shame. This is how politicians stick out their tounge and give you the finger. This is the politcal equivalent of getting someone a great job, and then, them leaving a bag of flaming human feces on your doorstep, and putting bologne all over your new car. This is the elite spitting on the citizens and voters and tax payers from their fucking golden toilets in the sky, where you crap silver dollars, and instead of galstones, you piss out diamonds, and huge houses, and immunity from laws, and th constitution.

No matter whether you are an anarchist, a libertarian, a democrat, a republican, even a socialist. These taxes are rape, and are not going to be able to do a thing about our economic turmoil. It will only delay the problem, and make it work. Haven't we learned about economic corrections? That pouring money into a raging fire will not put it out.

If you're in california, and especially Assembly man Anthony Adams' district which includes parts of hesperia, redlands, san bernardino county etc. You should go to the john and ken section of the KFI AM website and lend your support of all kinds (signatures, funds, time etc.) To the cause.

This isn't about what you think about the extreme tax hikes. It's about not letting politicians get away with this dogshit politics.

Just remember:
"First they came for the jews and I didn't do anything.
Then they came for the catholic, and I didn't do anything, then they came for the christians and I didn't do anything. And then they came for me.....and there was nobody left to do anything to help me."

With love to my fellow Americans and Canucks, as well as all the citizens of the world's government's abusive , unfair, and criminal behavior.

Dope is for Dopes! [03 Mar 2009|05:07am]
Believe me folks. I am avidly for the legalization of all drugs (cannabis, coca leaf/cocaine, crack cocaine/freebase, MDMA/ecstacy, ketamine, opiates like heroin, opium, fentanyl etc., alcohol, methamphetamine, mda, peyote/mescaline, ayahuasca/yage, LSD, Psilocybin and amanita muscaria "fly argaic/flying archaic mushrooms etc.). But I would like to share with you a first hand experience of why to never use anything as a crutch. Not food, not sex, not television, and definetly NOT crack and heroin!

This of course opens me up to a world of flames and "ha ha you loser"s. But if this can stop one future junkie from pulling a blueie (an overdose) , or draining an infected abcess with a rusty razor blade, or contracting H.I.V. Or Hep C, then it's totally worth it. But I warn you. Nothing turned me away from that black mexican death tar. No logic, no losses, and especially not that wiggity wiggity whack movie Requiem for a Dream (I've seen some shit, but losing an arm?....Getting the unibrow knocked off you in a yuppy gangbang? Please. That would be the easy way out.....

Part ONE - Down the rabbit butthole: I was about fourteen when I discovered vicodin. I would raid my parent's medicine cabinet, and do the same to my friend's parents, and people I was housesitting or babysitting for. I would sit each night watching Space Ghost, melting away into a warm jelly as the vicodin kicked in.

After a week I realiZed that two or three weren't melting me that much anymore. So it was up to five. By age 17 I had been on and off pain pills for a few years, but my tolerance remained high. I had a period of sobriety and was finally diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder I. Soon I was back on the pills, but now I was drinking straight Cutty Sark scotch whisky and Newcastles with anywhere from eight to twenty something pills a day.

My dad had been stricken with severe oral cancer from smoking and drinking like a true Celtic/Canuck his whole life. He began getting massive amounts of "norcos" (double strength, 10mg vicodin with less tylenol). It was the final kick in the ass I needed to become a full fledged druggy.

Not only was my mental illness destroying each facet of my life, my meds were very hard to deal with (depakote, zoloft, seroquel, and triazolam/fluorazapam). Vicodin (hydrocodone) and alcohol just seemed to work better. The along came cocaine binges. I was never hooked, but would spend the weekends downing an ounce of columbian with a few "close friends".

To make this a bit shorter A DEA raid, and my dad's medical bills forced us to sell our home in the suburbs and move. My dad and mom moved to the San Bernardino mountains, while my love and I moved to my hometown - Hollweird!

Part 2 - The Madhatter's Tea Party:

So living in L.A., making the trip to the mountains each week to get pills worked out fine for a while, until my dad died. So I started buying overpriced Oxycontin and Morphine sulphate tablets to maintain my addiction.

But alas, the cost was just far too great. So I found a connection for mexican black tar and gunpowder heroin. They were neatly packaged into colorful balloons. They were five bucks a balloon (about 2 shots for a new user), and they were much stronger than vicodin.

For a few months I smoked the stuff off of tinfoil (chasing the dragon). But quickly realiZed that hypodermic needles were very easy (and free) to obtain, and at first saved me money because the high was stronger. At first it was in my bicep, my abdomen, and my thigh/ass (skinpopping or muscle shots). Soon it was in the vein (mainlining). What a fucking rush.

Part 3 - Why you are a pig! (A.k.a. The doormouse): Within months crack cocaine and tranquilizers (xanax, klonopin, valium) were added onto my list of addictions. I was six foot six, 168 pounds, and white as a sheet. My body was covered in track marks. I was too embarassed to see any of my non junky friends.
"Why would I put myself through this?" you may ask. Well why I got involved was out of youthful nihilism and daily suicidal tendencies. I even overdosed twice and had to be revived by whatever junkies I was with.

But let me explain actual "dope sickness" to y'all. Many compare it to a bad flu. Ha! More like the fucking ebola virus and the flu rolled into one. First you get anxious and begin to mentally and physically crave a fix. Then your eyes and nose start running and don't stop. You vomit and get diaharrea for hours. You go between hot and cold every 5 seconds. You sweat perfusely. Then the depression kicks in. Your muscles are weak, you're exhausted yet feel like you can't get comfortable. Your legs start twitching and all you can do is watch the clocl and kick your legs frantically ("kicking"). And even if it was just a "bad flu", if there was a miracle cure for the flu - hell knows you'd go buy it. With dope sickness, there is however a miracle cure.....more junk.

Part 4 - Off with your head!

I was basically dead. People in public would ask me if I was okay. I wasn't. I had tried kicking both on methadone and cold turkey more times that I can count. But I was in love. The longtime love of my life was waiting patiently.
I was cheating with my new love, Heroina. Now there was a lot of bullshit in between that would take a series of books to explain (Stealing, getting jacked, getting arrested, putting my loved ones into danger, overdoses etc.). But I won't do that.

Part 5 - One will make you bigger......:

So it was around October in my 10 x 10 ft "apartment" in Hellyweird when we began to crumble financially. My dope habit, and my cigarette habit were destroying us. The dope had destroyed my sex drive, I was always depressed and was emotionally unavailable to my love, and I was doing less and less heroin (due to financial reasons), spending half the time sick as fuck. By this time I was slamming 8 to 12 balloons on a good day, two, maybe three on a normal one. And then it happened...

GOD KICKED ME IN THE BALLS!

No seriously. He did. My balls started getting a strained, or heavy feeling in them. I finally went to the emergency room. After doing some research testicular torsion seemed like the most likely candidate....basically the cords to my testicle were twisted around. But they didn't find shit.
So after about six more trips to ER's, doctors, and disgusting free clinics I was diagnosed with epeditmus (spelling?). Basically an infection of a gland behind your balls that holds semen/sperm. I had a 5.5 mm cyst. By this time I was in so much pain, and starting to fear testicular cancer, and/or prostate troubles. I was so scared that I had 4 seperate testicle examinations, and a fucking prostate exam. Fun.

My finances and my fear of dying young saved my life. I got back on methadone maintenence (MMT), and started my life again. I felt great. I now associated it with being poor, dirty, ill, and malnourished instead of with escaping, and being in a temporary world of ecstacy.

But it sounds like a movie. It worked out too well. How did I just stop after nine years of opiate addiction and abuse?

It was truly a miracle. For some reason god decided to erase my addiction. Now I ask why me? Now I look back, sadly, at all the terrible things that went on, all the people and friends and family I lost.

It sounds redundant, but don't ever try heroin. No oxycontin, morphine, methadone, fentanyl, vicodin/lorcette/lortab/hydrocodone, no tylenol 3's or 4's or codeine cough syrup, no darvon/darvocet/propoxyphene, no dilaudid.....nothing!

It is the only drug that I know for a fact, you can't do it just once, and you can't just do it casually. You may have a terrible first experience (many do, feeling disoriented, drowsy, and vomitting) and just do a little bit, and you go years without using it, you will try it again. Then it will become once in a while. Then you start making excuses why you "need" it (Ow my achine back!). Then that fateful day will come when you wake up sweating and shaking, puking and kicking your legs. Your heart will pound, you will get constant hot cold flashes and diaharrea. You will be dopesick. Then you need to get it to get well. And the cycle continues.

I now have a disease, track marks covering my arms, hands, and wrists, and a whole lot of my youth destroyed. I lost five teeth, I lost my old friends. There is no glamour to heroin. It's not like the movies or t.v. Junkies are not skinny sexy pale shaggy boys. We are yellow toothed, translucent, greasy haired, sneaky sons of bitches with deadly diseases and infected abcesses dripping thick green puss down your arm.

But if you know someone who is hooked. Please just keep loving them. Encourage them, be there for them, but don't preach. Don't enable them. Always prey and have faith that they will pull through, but junkies often must try and get sober many times. There is no substance like it. Once you're hooked, quitting is like being forced to live life without oxygen, or eyes, or ears, and losing your best friend at the same time. Even after the weeks of sickness, depression, anxiety, guilt, and the hardest; an overwhelming sense of boredom and not ever being comfortable. No sleep. No appetite. No sex drive. No emotions. This is the time many junkies go back to using. Imagine living in hell for up to a year, knowing that heaven was just a shot or a snort or a hit away.

Overall, don't do drugs mmm'kay. And understand and sympathize with the seemingly cruel, insane, and self destructive lifestyle they live each day. But don't give them money, and hide your valuables and prescription drugs if they come over to your home.

And to all you lost souls out there, get on a methadone or suboxone program, detox yourself, get a hobby!, start eating very healthy and take plenty of herbs and vitamins. If need be, get on psych meds like Zoloft or halcion. You can and will be saved. But for chrissake, DON'T EVER SHARE OR RE-USE NEEDLES!!!! It only takes one time, and most don't get tested ever.

I love you guys.
Love, TimothyXMcVeigh (A)

WHY MEN MAKE MORE by Warren Farrel - summary [A great example of reverse sexism] [02 Mar 2009|03:16pm]
$$$WHY MEN MAKE MORE$$$

[As endorsed by Tom Leykis]

Dr. Warren Farrell, the only man ever elected three times to the Board of the National Organization for Women in NYC, once asked, “If men are paid more for the same work, why would anyone hire a man?”

He may be sorry he asked. But during the years of research that followed, the answer evolved: Men earn more than women, but not for the same work—for 25 different workplace choices. Men’s choices lead to men earning more money; women’s choices lead to women having better lives.

Men’s trade-offs include working more hours (women typically work more at home); taking more-hazardous assignments (cab-driving; construction; trucking); moving overseas or to an undesirable location on-demand (women’s greater family obligations inhibit this); and training for more-technical jobs with less people contact (e.g., engineering).

Women’s choices appear more likely to involve a balance between work and the rest of life. Women are more likely to balance income with a desire for safety, fulfillment, potential for personal growth, flexibility and proximity-to-home. These lifestyle advantages lead to more people competing for these jobs and thus lower pay.

Only when Dr. Farrell’s research journey uncovered these 25 differences, did the “holy grail” become visible: women now earn more money for the same work—that is, women earn more when they work equal hours at the same job with the same size of responsibility for the same length of time with equal productivity, etc. The women’s movement can celebrate its greatest single triumph—exceeding its goal of equal pay for equal work. A triumph that frees women to enter the next level of progress...

Since men still earn more money, Why Men Earn More introduces to women the 25 ways to higher pay, showing which trade-offs lead to how much increase in pay, creating for women an opportunity to decide which trade-offs are worth it given her individual personality and current goals.

Intro

Dr. Farrell shares his journey with us—how he saw his wife, a business owner, responding to employees who wanted a balanced life with equal pay. What he was being told by CEOs “in private” that they were unwilling to say in public. Warren shares how his discovery that never-married women have long out-earned never-married men led him on the search for factors other than the male-female factor that accounted for the pay gap, and helped him understand that men’s workplace choices were not “choices” per se, but the married man’s fulfillment of his financial responsibilities.

In the Intro, Why Men Earn More stuns us with some current data on how both part-time working women now earn more than men when they work equal hours, as well as how much more than men full-time working women make if they have never been married. He introduces us to the sources of his data (usually the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics) and his research methods. But at every moment, as our sensibilities of political correctness are being shattered, we feel Dr. Farrell reconstructing our vision, allowing the discovery of opportunities for women that were missed when our binoculars were focused on discrimination against women. Thus the twenty-five opportunities to higher pay that are Part I.

Part I

Chapter One: Field of Dreams: Choose the Right Field and Higher Pay Will Come

Dr. Farrell begins with the first ten ways to higher pay—ten ways to choose both a field and sub-field that pay well: the “Field-with-Higher-Yield Formula.” He explains how almost every field has high-paying sub-fields; which fields and sub-fields are “fields of the future;” which are becoming more user-friendly to women due to changes in technology.

Did you know that no woman has died in the Marines or Air Force in the War in Iraq? Findings like this allow Dr. Farrell to guide women safely where most fear to tread—into the two secrets of hazardous occupations: first, where women can get equal pay with much less-than-equal danger; and second, how, for example, running a construction company allows a woman all the affirmative action benefits for women-owned construction companies with none of the hazards of being a construction worker.

Each approach of Dr. Farrell’s offers creative, win-win solutions. While on the one hand he explains the money we miss when we follow our bliss, he offers creative ways to earn the money to securely pursue what we love to do. In this chapter Dr. Farrell begins his push to get both sexes to look at each other and their work-family lives more creatively.

Chapter Two: Doing Time

This chapter looks at the average benefit of each contribution of “Doing Time” in the workplace—from hours worked to uninterrupted work experience with the same employer, to commuting time. For example, if someone works 13% more hours in the workplace, should they expect 13% more pay? No. They should expect 44% more pay. Once we know the pay-off and the trade-off, we look at the implications of these for planning a family, or following your bliss; for traditional roles, or a reversal of roles. Do top executive women wish they had put in more hours, or fewer hours, or do they look at work time differently? Cross-culturally, which women and men are the happiest—those who work overtime or part time? And finally, what are the male-female differences in each of these areas, and how much of the pay gap is accounted for by men’s tendency to work that extra 13%, have more uninterrupted experience, and so on?

Chapter Three: On the Move

In “On the Move” we discover that people who get higher pay are more willing to move to undesirable locations at the company’s behest, and, once on the job, are more willing to travel extensively (be an international sales rep versus a local sales rep). We get advice from top female executives on the importance of international experience at an early age, and how companies are developing more flexible, short-term ways for women to get that experience. We are introduced to “Carpe Diem Moving” such as construction workers and nurses moving where they’re needed when they’re needed. Since only 16% of “frequent flyers” are women, special emphasis is placed on what needs to happen for a woman who wishes to travel for the family to benefit emotionally.

Chapter Four: Responsibility, Training and Ambition

We begin this chapter by discovering “You Can’t Tell a Salary by its Title”—why, for example, a Corporate Vice President of Finance is likely to make more and be promoted more quickly than a Corporate Vice President for Human Resources. And why we can’t say “male Corporate Vice Presidents of Finance earn more than female Corporate Vice Presidents of Finance, therefore women are discriminated against” until we determine whether the men have more financial responsibilities (larger international companies, etc.) . Perhaps the most intriguing part of the chapter is the differences between the goals of men and women at every stage of life, leading to men earning more money and women having more balanced lives, to women’s visible juggling acts and men men’s invisible juggling acts.

Part I Conclusion

Part One’s goals include creating a different attitude toward the workplace—so that when we hear, “men earn a dollar for each 80 cents women earn” it will trigger for women 25 paths to higher pay rather than one path to victimhood. It hopefully uncovered not just twenty-five—but hundreds-- of little pay-offs such as the dozens of ways to be a nurse, engineer or computer specialist--with a choice tailored to each personality at every time of life. It introduces new methods of looking at the workplace—of looking not just at field of choice, but subfield; not just a field as it was or is, but a field as technology will create it to be; a field transformed by the evolution of men caring more for children and women creating more money; of how fields will adjust to economic hard times and easy times; of the importance of assessing not just pay but the trade-offs of hours invested, moves required, risks taken, so each man and woman can live a life of genuine power—the power that comes from the knowledge that leads to control of our lives.

Part II

Chapter Five: What Women Contribute to the Workplace

Drawing from his corporate workshops, Dr. Farrell tells us what men love about working with women, and why it is important to not pressure women into becoming “imitation men”. He gives many examples of how women’s and men’s differences create workplace synergy—from good cop/bad cop roles in domestic violence work to the creativity of female funeral directors to the greater family focus of female legislators. He concludes with what makes men feel threatened by some women and what both sexes can do to reduce that feeling.

Chapter Six: Why Women and Men Approach Work So Differently, Yet So Similarly
When women and men can be their own bosses, they are free to approach work by priorities that are theirs, thus a look at the differences between men-owned and women-owned businesses creates a purer picture of their priorities. For starters, female-owned businesses earn only 47% of what male-owned businesses earn. Why? The twenty-five male-female differences are not tempered by either corporate requirements or corporate egalitarianism. Pay is measured by raw productivity. But also we see how more subtle influences of female and male socialization, such as men’s tendency to pay for women, may influence men’s greater willingness to pay for employees. This chapter introduces “focused responsibilities” and “divided responsibilities” and explains how women’s tendency toward divided responsibilities will be especially viable in the 21st Century.

Chapter Seven: The Myths that Prevent Women from Knowing Why Men Earn More

When women believe they earn less than men for the same work, it makes sense for their husbands to work and women to care for the children, and thus we create a self-fulfilling prophecy of women leaving the workplace, justifying lower pay. The belief also spawns many corollary myths that breed contempt for men, such as “women are collaborative, men are hierarhical,” or “women make better managers.” Dr. Farrell shows how each of these beliefs are not only myths, but hurts women’s careers, poisons love and divides families. Other than that, they’re great!

Chapter Eight: Discrimination Against Women

Does this mean there’s no discrimination against women? No. There is. Dr. Farrell demonstrates the subtle ways in which, when a mother works, we unwittingly “guilt trip da mama;” he explains to men the unconscious mechanisms of the buddy-boy network, and explores how women’s mentorship advantage is backfiring as today’s climate of women suing men has turned men’s instinct to protect women into the need to protect themselves. A chapter rich with solutions to these discriminations.

Chapter Nine: Discrimination In Favor of Women: Why Women Are Now Paid More Than Men for the Same Work

If women are now paid more than men for the same work, why is that? Dr. Farrell begins with the legal mechanisms of discrimination in favor of women: the “affirmative action tax” and “psychological affirmative action” that together make it possible to pay a woman more even if she produces less. Warren then looks at the social mechanisms—contrasting “female comfort power” that works for women with the fear of male sexuality that works against men; together, they create the “caste system” of the touchable and untouchable male. He concludes with some of the ways this discrimination in favor of women forces men to develop skills to be paid equally, which skills eventually lead men earning more (for different work).

Chapter Ten: The Genetic Celebrity Pay Gap
When a woman’s genes offer her enough beauty that men who know nothing about her except her beauty nevertheless follow her—as we might follow a celebrity—Dr. Farrell calls her a genetic celebrity. In this chapter, we discover the “genetic celebrity pay gap”—how the man “earns” his way to her attention by paying for dinners, drinks, dates and diamonds; by creating career opportunities and sharing his future earnings with her in marriage. We are introduced to “Genetic Celebrity Hiring Discrimination” and “Access Discrimination” as well as myriad forms of “invisible income” the genetic celebrity generates, such as her power as a tip magnet. The results? The man earns more money; the genetic celebrity often has more money, has more time to spend it, and lives longer. But all is not roses as the pedals of her genetic celebrity power wilts...

Chapter 11. Some Nagging Questions....

This brief chapter deals with two nagging questions: “When women enter men’s occupations, doesn’t the pay go down?” and “Isn’t the issue more than equal pay—isn’t it comparable worth?” In a sense, the lessons of the entire book are the answer to both questions, and Dr. Farrell concludes this chapter with a humorous view of what comparable worth might look like were it proposed by men.

Chapter 12. Conclusions

Why Men Earn More concludes by connecting the dots between the goals it hopes it fulfilled and the changes that we need to make if the future is to be better for both ourselves and our children; between our monetary futures and our emotional future; and between our personal futures and our future within a global economy.

Hope, Change, And the New World Order [01 Mar 2009|10:52am]
Yes we can! Change! Hope! That big smile, that honest face, the confidence, the intelligence, the dignity. I was actually excited about a major party candidate (or a candidate at all) since Bill 'Tha Mac Daddy' Clinton.

Me. A staunch anti government, son of a bastard. I admit it. I was starstruck. Barack Star! God, how brilliant. He's going to shit silver dollars all over the Appalachian mountains, use his super powers to fix the corrupted, terribly run, good old boys clubs known as the banks. I bet he'll put solar panels on every house and stop global climate change (not that it needs to be stopped). He'll stop the polar ice caps from melting with Hillary Clinton's frosty breath, and go back in time, and kill Adolf Hitler before he killed all those Jews!

But the economy had been falling steadily. The housing market was dying quickly. The automobile industry in Michigan and the rest of the U.S. had been dead for years (and had nazi union members trying to forcibly draw blood from a stone). It was a time for a Lincoln. A Kennedy. Hell, Ild even take a Reagan or a Nixon or maybe even a Ross Perot? We needed the Obama Brand name. Hope and change and water that tastes like Tang (I was going to say Kool Aid but I remembered since he's HALF black, I would have every P.C. Asshole calling me a racist for six months).

It didn't matter to me that he was much too socialist for my tase. He cared about the enviroment. Like a multicultural, less robotic Al Gore. He was going to stop this farce of a "war". He smacked down that frost queen Hilary Clinton. Good enough for me. But what really drew me to him was that he seemed open, honest, and in touch with the younger generation.

But alas, he is in office and I can't count the number of things he's done to piss me off. But the fact that we still have troops in Iraq for another year (maybe longer for "training purposes"), and the we have Pakistan and Afghanistan to look forward to. All this while we complete ignore real threats like Iran, North Korea, and most importantly Russia. This place has attacked and devistated half of a small defensless alli of ours and ignores U.S. And U.N. Cease fires, then one of their satelites "accidentally" blew up one of our satelites.

And now this big sexy stimulus package is taking trillions of dollars from our pockets and sending it god knows where, and paying it back god knows when. Most of the jobs being created are "jobs saved" for future times, and many of the jobs are state and federal government jobs. Yay! Everybody working for the government! I love how welre slowly becoming the Soviet Union. Somebody exhume Trotsky!

Many say what I'm upset about is just nutty conspiracy theory garbage. But the United States is very quickly becoming a socialist state, a police state, a dictatorship, and proponents of a World government.
And now they seem to have the right to create laws tailored for singular situations ("So and so's law"), start wars in third world countries for no apparent reason and tax us over a trillion dollars without telling us what it's for, or even if it will do jack shit for the economy. Hint folks. It won't.

The Obamarama is over people. He's just another Bush puppet. Don't let your anarchist hearts be tricked by this new age propaganda.
