 cam whoring took place… Birthday boy came and took pictures as well…       serious guys are mesmerizing guys… then ….. it was…        HAPPY BIRTHDAY!  last group pict before we headed down to the casino for pokies… haahahah talking about the casino… I realised that we should never be greedy. Me and boyfriend actually won 11 dollars from pokies, but lose it all cause we wanted to take another risk. And … odd couple lost a total of 60 bucks.. WHAHAHAHAHAHA.. ku ku and cubes lost 5 I think.. awww… looks like me and boyfriend were the only one who went in with x amount, and went out still with x amount. :P and the night ended with boyfriend and ku ku singing JJ lin’s songs…   we stayed up till we saw the almost there sunrise. Cubes.. your photography is amazing… and off to bed we go…. Day 5and it’s time to seat the car ride to harbour town and back home…    the ever changing expression of boyfriend…. Look at how unbothered ku ku is…   GOODBYEe sweet gold coast trip. HELLO reality where there’s homework to hand in the following week… I had the greatest fun with this bunch. Thank you for making this trip amazing! (: Reiji 24th Octoberand so we attended the last reiji before the start of the exams and before most of all leave and head back to sunny Singapore. clubbing is always interesting cause of what happens the next day. it will always be who saw who with who, who drank what, who got drunk, making of new friends of enemies etc.. well, this reiji was just like any other. (:  hello handsome boyfriend and the rest.   hello tall and short babe!  hello boyfriend who is trying to be seen..   hello shaun and my dancing partners...  hello pretty faces... and yes, thats reiji. (: fun right? fun... Felicia's place for dinnerfirstly i must really apologise to felicia because we were close to 2 hours late. Firstly, there’s the overdue gold coast trip that adiel has already blogged about. But because she says, “Qings probably going to blog about it so I wont blog much” or something along those lines, I have to blog… Damn it….. So there’s • Gold coast trip • Reiji • Felicia’s house To blog about… *yawn* Slightly Sunshine Coast and Mostly Gold Coast holidayDay 1waking up at the unearthly hour of 8am in the morning is a chore. Not to forget that the crazy couple took turns calling us at 3 and 4 am to check on stuff. -_- so yes, having not enough sleep when you’re going on a trip = lousy mood. But thankfully, the dear people I went with were a joy to be with.  starting 5 mins of the trip  the remaining journey to sunshine coast. Kukus sleeping lo. Only adiel and cubes are like crazily happy.     slightly awake, we cam whored. After all we are “tourist” ma. So must take tourist photos with objects of no interest what.  YES! We reached the go carting place…. Only to find out that cannot enter with slippers… tmd… ku ku had to lend me his converse while he wore his formal shoes… wahhaahahah     IN YOUR DREAMS CODY LEE! Hahahahaahahha   Me and adiels future occupation. (what not realistic… F1 open in Sg le ma… )  before we headed to the tracks  wearing those disgusting head thingies  gross helmets….  and off we go! The after pictures are kindaf gross cause all our hair were like WTF. So no one (thank goodness) bothered to take any. If not you can laugh at coco’s hair forever. :P We went to the strawberry farm next. I must really thank No No, cause he saw the brochure and “NAH, your strawberry farm”. HAHAHAHAHA well too baddddd, cause in the end, the driver decided to go and off we went. Their du lan face damn nice to see!  ku ku is like some posing pro…   strawberry YUM!     closet gays let loose on the trip.  (; girls    Randomness and dog backside smeller… Okies, and now for a series of me…    oh my... gorgeous! Hahaahahahaahahahah and then we decided to take a series of jumping shots. But not for long…. It was another long 2 hr drive to gold coast and I concussed on kukus lap. Thanks ku ku! Hahahahahahaha sorry about your poor leg and arm! :P We checked in at breakfree resort and went for our well-deserved dinner. Ok la, technically we did nothing but seat behind and sleep, so it should be… boyfriends’ well-deserved break.     ku ku has split personalities   the 3 gaysterteers…    boyfriend…. Awwww…. -_-  our gross food. It was tasteless and yucky. Imagine putting half a bottle of salt in your pasta and still having think it’s tasteless. And that's not counting the fact that it wasn't me, the salt lover, who did that. Hahahahahaha  walking back home.. frm the night market. well the day ended relatively early for boyfriend and me because he was super tired. Hahahaha lets no guess what the odd couple got up to ya. Ku ku and cubes were well, just entertaining themselves with music. (: Day 2how can you say you visited gold coast when you do no go visit one of their worlds. After major discussions between me and adiel, we decided to head to movie world because it had rides as well as picture taking things. (come on… compromise ma.) hahahahaha technically, we were suppose to reach there at 11am… but…  the culprit…  still dilly daly… after a nice breakie near the resort, off we go!            hello 30 mins of entrance ….  tickets…  hello hot babe at the car…  hello hot car!  the boyfriend…    all geared up in our make believe world….       while waiting to enter the shrek show.  entering the theatre…  love this picture by cubes…. I made a tee shirt purchase…  the pretty Felicia…   the boyfriend and goddess…  ku ku is batman…. NOT…  fucking shit! and so yes, the 6 of us plus fel and Lawrence spend the whole day at gold coast. After which we went for dinner and then headed to time zone to relieve No No’s forgotten childhood.   surfers paradise… Back home to a Beer game that was a killer… until I don't remember anything other then adiel kicking me to go and puke. (: Day 3  GOODMORNING BUTTS!!!! We were supposed to head to a fruit farm to do some fruit picking but due to *cough cough* unforeseen reasons, we decided to head to Bayron Bay instead…  finding a place for lunch  boyfriend and odd male couple AGAIN!  the person who hates everyone…  and the goddess and odd female couple who both look like primary school kids..  yummy lunch at some Japanese place with a cute waiter. (: after a yummylicious lunch, it was hardwork on boyfriend and odd male couple again. Back to sleep backseaters, and only awake when the car stops for us to get up!       IT’S CRAZILY WINDY AND COLD AT THE TIME WE REACHED… The funny thing was that after taking those pictures, we were asked to leave cause the gates were closing. -_- but, being the ever “fuck care, I am a tourist and I am contributing to your economy so you better be nice to me” Singaporean us, we continued uphill to where the lighthouse were.    wah like how Korean movie la…  Groupie!  hello random shots to show that we’re here…     kuku’s serious side… charming aint it? yes yes, last sunday was mooncake day. how did we know? formosa market sales girl say de. so despite the moon not being completely round that day, me, coco, adiel, no no, zihao, jinhong, kenny, lawrence, felicia, latisha, hermann, amie, alex and martin went over to toowong and celebrated mooncake day with a fabulous steamboat! (; fun is not the word to describe fully how the whole night felt.   the odd couple! hahahahaha cute la cute la!   the rest of us were more normal...    hard at work lo the girls... wah lau... other then zihao and kuku who were mopping the floor, the rest of the guys playing some racing game on psp in alex's room lo... wtf... I WILL REMEMBER!  culprit 1  all the culprits....  still act seh... PUI!  beer fanatics...  The yummy food that YOURS TRULY and adiel prepared.    cam whoring can be done anywhere....   seee!      can be done with anything too! (: JUST USE YOUR CREATIVITY! ahahahahahah   adiel decided to try out the racing game while waiting for the rest... me?  ku ku  alex  lawrence  felicia and lawrence...  felicia... cam whore lo... but i also made people cam whore...  evidence 1  ku ku's room! look at all those scantily clad anime CHILDREN!  zihao also not spared..  this best. got 2 computer screens then one got this damn big breasted anime girl.. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA!     we played guitar freak next.      as you can see, i'm not very good at it.... goodness... it's rather addicitive! and dont spoil my picture cody li!      finish le.. then? aiyah you all get the drift la.... after a long while, we finally remembered that we bought mooncake and lanterns to play. what the hell, it's mooncake day la... how can we forget???? hahahahahaha   setting up for the colourful display of lanterns....  sweetness....    awww...... i love the slimming effect of those dark lights. whahahahahaha  my cam sucks.....  when ok le, the sparklers no more liao... wtf!  3 girls 1 lantern....    sweet x 2. the lighting makes the atmo feel very romantic.... kenny you actually look decent. hahahahaha     it grew quiet for a while cause the night was simply too beautiful to be making random noises. the snapping of cameras was the only sound made after awhile. (:  beautiful things are meant to be silently enjoyed with the great company.  ku ku finall came out of his room only to find out that all the sparklers have been used and most laterns have been burned. hahahaahah he took this shot just to experience the feel of playing with a sparkler... wth la!  adiel's campfire.... -_- hahahahah well, the night ended with each of us helping to clean up. it was a fast affair cause there were many hands to do the cleaning. i enjoyed our mooncake celebration i enjoyed the night best of all... i enjoyed you guys. right? it's about getting over it. and i did... thanks to the solving of a technical glitch. hahahahahahaha well, a bunch of us headed to harbor town last sat. shopping has never been so fun!!!!! i bought 2 tops, one skirt, one shorts at cotton on for 20 dollars. TOTALLY CANNOT BELIEVE ME LUCK! surprisingly, the guys spent more then the girls. can't blame jin hong and zihao also cause it was a make over trip for them. BUT CODY???? wtfff!!!! hahahahahahahahahahaa..... no no still ok la... just buy alot of socks only. ;P Harbor Town while waiting to board the train  we missed it.... -_-  Jin Hong is damn bloody kua zhang la.. we just miss train only he become like that... i'm no longer taking performing studies, and that as taken a whole big load off my shoulders. even though i met alot of challenges changing my major and electives, i'm glad i did. (: currently, im taking advertising (cause i mange to get credit off frm marketing), 2 television modules and japanese. SHOCK RIGHT??? of all things, japanese. whahahahah but i'm glad i took jap, cause i met a friend there whom has been a great help! (: well, upload of pictures as usual. starting from the earliest to the latest events. Reiji Party at Caesarsi went clubbing. it wasn't intentional, but at the end of the day, despite my unwillingness to go, i was somehow still there, and it was alrights. (: however, someone got dead drunk from too many yager bombs eh? ya la ya la adiel... HAHAHAHAHAH :P  Yonnie (adiels hk neighbour).  Normal...  Sweet kisses to alll!!!!  Dylan and nono... while dylan was still slightly sane  Cody is disgusting... HAHAHAHAHAH SSA NDP programme9th of august is a holiday we dont have to go to school we all can play im dressed in my best all out to the parade hey, IT'S NATIONAL DAY! yes, even in brisbane we got to celebrate national day. we took the city cat to UQ and had a singaporean dinner of fried rice, chicky wing, tao suan and bee hoon. hanged around for a while before going into the auditorium for a live webcast of the national day parade. because of the time difference in our time zones, it was rather late when the whole thing started and ended. as usual, the parade was super boring, but the commercials of singapore shows and products made me miss home a tad bit. (: luckily i have singaporeans here to make it better.  On the city cat. (:  adiel, kang yan and shaun...  the whole group of us seating and chatting while waiting for the parade to start.  playing with face paints :P we headed to pancake cafe after that because the singaporean food wasnt satisfying. hhahahahah  adiel's yummy chocolate pancake thingy   (: so well, the day ended relatively alrights. incase i get scolded for not loving my country, I DO OK! hahahah, just that i think the parade is damn lame. sorry la, no need to propaganda to us, propaganda to other countries can liao. :P Happy Birthday Dennis!August 13th is our taiwan friend Dennis's birthday. because the next day was ekka holiday, he celebrated it the day before. so to woollongbaga we go!  2 pretty girls!   Adiel and the 2 other taiwan friends of felicia. i forgot their names :P  Song right diel? even got to kiss him on the cheeks. win lo!  POOR ME stuck with them instead... tutorials are super stressful for my performance classes because im the only asian inside. furthermore, i have completely no clue what the teacher is talking about. i didnt grow up here for goodness sake. there are so many things that i wasnt thought in Sg because its not part of out context. im not blaming their education system, but seriously, im going to try changing my minor because performance is too hard to grasp for me. everything is theory theory theory. i miss my camera's, editing suites and slate. but... God's always good. he puts small pieces of coals everywhere to make sure i stay warm emotionally and physically. the friends i meet from all the oddest of places keeps me warm. and of course, there's the late night skyp-ing with pizza face that keeps me grounded. (: Dinner at Felicia's   Felicia invited me and my friends to their house for dinner. it's really sweet of them actually, cause they cooked us a fab meal of lamb, veg, lotus soup and garlic bread. sweet sweet them hosted us till late night cause bevin got drank after a hardcare session of indian poka with rose wine. it was a fab night!  remember this photo, cause noel only looks normal once...  a group shot when bevin was still sane (:  Cody is a cam whore seriously...  happy Adiel with her hunky Dennis Ge     it's the girls turn to cam whore... Friday Night outwanted to go home straight after school on fri because of the horrid tutorial which i had no clue what was going on. the stress and the fatigue was getting to me and i really just wanted to go back to my snuggly warm bad and sleep all the bad experience away. but, a call from felicia at 3 cancelled out my plans. the sweet girl waited for me to end in the lib and that was the start of my friday nights out.     we took a bus to milton. felicia wanted to show me the nice scenery and cafeteria that was at that area. but when we reached there, her mum's friend called and invited us for dinner. and so, we walked to the train station and waited for the train to bring us back into the city. (:    met up with felicia mum's friend who was her bringing her taiwan nursing students to QUT for an exchange programme. the taiwanese are great fun people! their hospitality is amazing seriously. i enjoyed their company. furthermore, i managed to get a free dinner and krispy kreme donut from the nice aunty.     we walked across the bridge of brisbane river and headed to south bank's night market. wow, it was a great experience really! the night market sold interesting things, and i bought a dress i spotted there the next day. 20AUD, not very cheap la, but cheaper then the norm here le. hahaah (:      Felicia and i met up with linda and adiel for a salsa party going on at the streets. SO FUN! we didnt know how to dance (only linda did), but people will ask you for a dance and teach you right on the spot. it was fun just moving with them music. linda got asked to dance so many times we lost count. adiel too got asked twice, and me, i managed to dance with one guy because adiel pushed him to me when he invited her instead... -_- hahahahahahahaha FUN! what a fulfilling friday night! SSA BBQ at Southbanks SSA bbq was alot of fun. there i met other singaporeans who were in QUT as well. i still dunno many of their names, but well, these are the small pieces of coals that will make life in brisbane warmer. the bbq was YUM! i love the sausages. its real meat lo... hahahahah and it was there, i realised that there are budding professional photographers amongst us. lets just say, being the only asian in 3 out of 4 of my classes and tutorials isnt exactly what i call exciting and friendly. for now, im just glad for friends i made along the way (: and because of the new friends i made, i had a busy weekend... Brisbane welcome orientation partybecause of this party, i made friends with adiels friends. which is good, cause now got more kakis to go out with.  the guys: (L) Cody, Dylan, Keith, Noel and shaun.  The girls: (L) Fiona, jace, Mami, Bevin, Adiel and Wa! (:  My taiwan friends: (L) Kate, Linda, Felicia and WA again! :P the party was alrights. i only like the dinner actually. hahahah cause im not a clubber. so beer, alcohol and wine dont interest me. neither those the blasting music. but oh wells, it was still a good ground to get to know me people       adiel took this of keith... HAHAHAHAHAHAHHA  mami's from japan, and adiel used my cam to cam whore... but she looks kindaf hot here doesnt she? :P Darras Market with taiwan and sg friendsMet up with felicia on friday and she told us that there was this vietnamnese wet market that sells way cheaper groceries then super markets. and since im on a tight budget, CHEAp = good, and we decided to follow her and her friends to Darras. took the train there. it was my first time taking train in Brisbane. hahahah it's really different from SG actually. its not mrt, yet its not train train either. dont really know how to describe it. but ya, great experience. thanks to cody, i finally know how to take public transport. (:     Cody says hi. hahahahaha, no la, i took this by accident cause i was using timer.  with linda and felicia (:  Full grp with noel, cody and dennis, felicia and linda's housemate. not bad looking hor?? hahhaahahah ERICCC :P  well, im glad i went to darras market. cause there, i finally found oyster and chinese soya sauce. ang mo soya sauce taste like F. -_- so i was really happy to find the chinese soya sauce. hahaha managed to find tau kua, cheap strawberries, cheap meat, seafood and shi jia (aka custurd apple aka my fav fruit) so yes, Qinghui is a happy girl (: Noel's 26th BirthdaySunday! went out for movie with my singaporean friends. we watched the dark knight, which i had to admit was really a great movie. yes yes, joker was played really well by heth ledger (over stated) but i thought the plot was really interesting (: well, after dinner, Bevin planned a surprise celebration for Noel, who turned 26th on the 25th of July. eventhough it wasnt a exact party party, but noel was really happy that we're celebrating for him, and treated all of us to dinner. Wah seh... spoil market.. hahaha next time all our bdaes how???? :P but really must thank bevin for organizing it. she's the one that made the effort. time seems to pass rather slowly here, i guess its just the slow pace of life. everything closes around 5.30 to 6! even retail stores. good and bad i guess, forces me to stay in my room. hahaha mummy is happy about this arrangement (: anyways, here are some picts... Settling In Unilodge entrance. it's quite a nice place actually (:  The reception area...    my room on the first day. no blanket, no pillows, no bedsheet. i was freezing my ass off la! sick and shivering on the cold cold bed. :(  im sad cause im cold and sick.       after 2 days of groccery and furniture shopping. I LOVE MY ROOM! its like my mini hideout. weeee!!i told ma i probably going to stay here for the next 2 years. she agrees. hahaha it's so nice and cozy now can. PIZZA FACE!!! pray that by the time you come, still like that. whaahahahah and ... i look so hardworking hor.... just ignore the computer the screen on my picture :P  QUT garden point campus. ITS JUST 2 MINS FROM MY APARTMENT CAN! hhahaha, but most of my classes are in kelvin grove, which is 5 mins shuttle bus ride from garden point. WEEE!!!    Streets of Brisbane... there's alot of asians here i must say. like out of 10 people, prob 3 -4 are asians. quite interesting to see japs, koreans, chinese, taiwanese, Pakistani and indians on the streets.  cam whores x 2!  tired from buying and carrying all that furniture. DAMN HEAVY LAA!!! for 3 days i had to lug heavy things back and forth...   Nando's chicken. its apparently indian grilled chicken... there's super alot of brunches around town. not bad actually.  Oh my gosh, their food court consist of bread, wraps, salads and deli ONLY! and its damn big la! so far only meyer central got more variety...  damn chio face. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA i signed up for a phone plan too. oh my, apparently in Aussie, they give you the phone free for the plan you sign up with. damn good right?? i signed up with 3 for a 19 AUD plan and got myself a Sony E z601i. i know its a damn old phone la, but it's pink!! so since i dont really need the phone anyway. i decided to choose cutesyness over practicality. whahahahahahahahah Australia ZoMummy and i signed up for a day tour to the aussie zoo. hahahah, i meant cant be we everyday walk to myers square and buy groceries and furniture right? so we booked a day tour with the tour agency.  welcome to the steve erwin zoo!   the kookoburra and the frog something bird. these guys are flightless apparently due to being injured by cars. so they were placed at the cafeteria enclosure.. (: SO CUTE!  steve erwin = crocodile fanatic. THERE WERE LIKE SO MANY CROCODILE ENCLOSURE LA... -_-    we were allowed to feed the elephants at certain timing. cool hor? but thier trunks damn muddy la!!!! hahahaha interestingly, i saw the zoo keeper doing pull ups on the elephants trunk... hahhahaha   we went for the animal show. it's actually more of a wild life preservation show because unlike sg's "look at those seal play with the ball" type of shows, it teaches audiences how to protect themselves from crocodile, snakes etc. how to save the endangered species of birds... (: I LIKE!        Koala bears become my mothers favourite thing of the day. she went crazy with the photos. it became "why they keep sleeping?" "arh! that one facing the other side... quick we walk there!" "it's awakeee!!!" "its scratching!!!" "aiyo... so cute de" In her Camera, she had so many koala photos that i just deleted them on my com. -_-   Lunch time!!!!   they lick the hay out from your hand... super ticklish... hahahahah  i found mini PGB! they are quite rough actually when they feed. their stouts are tough and hard insteed of the soft and bouncy like i aways thought it was.      Kangaroos!!!! you can just go up and pet them. they laze around in the kangaroo enclosure. hahaha i love their eyes!      we paid 60 AUD to get up close and personal with the Wombats. super not worth la... cannot hug them, just can take pictures with super closely with them. k la... quite a interesting experience. (:    we took the safari tram ride. it's more of a shuttle bus rather then a tour bus. makes getting to places easier. but we only know that after we spent 3/4 of the day walking. cause we thought its like a guided tour... tmd! and...     real tourisy pictures... not faking this time like the night safari or little india le... whahahahahahahahaahahahah it was quite an interesting experience at the aussie zoo. however, the trip there almost made me puke la... the roads are like up down up down de. felt like i was seating on a roller coaster ride. scaryy... :p okies, school starts on monday... hope everything will be alrights (: - my QUT id picture sucks |

its already my 2nd day in Brisbane as im typing this. sick and sneezy from the horrid airplane ride and lousy temperature. ok ok, shall stop self pitying hahahahah ... here's the pictures (: Haji lae/Arab Street with my indian travelling partneractually this pictures were meant to be another travelling nonsense post, but yours truly was too lazy to post up the picts and wasnt feeing creative enough to blog about it. hahahahah aiyah... actually its because the pictures suck and there really wasnt much interesting things to talk about...      Yummy food at Zam Zam... so weird hor the name? we ate sardine muturbak and this damn bloody nice mutton briani. wah... shiok man ..    Random street shots to show off my AMAZING photography skills. Shoduku with PGB, Phewy, Long Fei and Sharmainewent Shoduku with eric's god sis as well as his 2nd brother and his gf. it was quite fun actually because phewy was just an amazing company. she has this ability to make people feel very comfortable. Long fei and sharmaine were more talkative that night as well.. it was fun!     We laughed at his brother because he bought rosti at a japanese food place. WTH right? hahahahahahah :P    Us trying to act nerdy and retarded due t the spectacles. ahahahah i cant believe eric actually like my gross straight bangs. he says i look nerdy and will seduce nerdy people on the street. GND -_- Hanabi with PGBme and eric were having a huge shashimi craving after the unsatisfying portion we had in shoduku. so on the thursday after our shoduku meal on monday, we went to hanabi to satisfy our craving. weeeee... i found my food partner.. (:      no meal is done without being crazy with our food. he doensnt like the edamame!!! HOW CAN? ITS LIKE HOW NICE PLSSS... tmd...  went with him to Island Cremery as well. the Soursoap ice cream is like how nice can. omg... totally in love with it. it felt like a first date too because we set at his bike there at the pavement and ate our ice cream. sweetness Ikea Tripswent Ikea twice with PGB. the reason why we went there was too eat at their cafeteria, but we end up always talking crappy photos while walking though the furniture area.  nice shot first...       wooo.. sexy bra... (: Farewell dinner with Church and polymates met up with my church clique for steamboat dinner. alloy couldnt come cause he had guard duty :( but zheng yu took his place. so we still had much fun in the end. i love my church clique. eventhough im the only girl and they bully me and treat me like a guy, i feel happy and free amongst them. we grew up together. im so proud of this friendship. (:     PURPOSELY DE STUPID TEDDY!   as much as they suan me abt being fat and being a pig, i know deep down inside they treat me like a sister. i was super touched by their card msges and the nice smellng perfume that they bought for me. Teddy, Dumb Dumb, Hong Hong, Weijie(pui), Aloy and Zhengyu, THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR LOVE FOR ME AS A SISTER. *Hugs to all* poly gang and i met up 2 days before my departure. i was almost an hour late due to the rain. IM SO SORRY!!! thank you evie for being on time and the rest for turning up despite the horrid rain. (:    thank you ann jie maria for the sweet as hell recipes which she wrote and compiled for me in a little booklet. Zma, Mei Mei, Evie, Gera and Justin... thank you for the sweet msges and for being at this dinner. I HEART YOU ALL TOO!!!! (: Bye Bye Singaporeit's finally my turn to leave for brisbane. the day started with PGB coming and helping me do my final packing. time seems to fly by that day. before i know it, it was time to leave for the airport. when i reached the airport, i found out the horrid truth. MY FLIGHT SUCKS TO THE CORE PLS! innitially i thought i had to only transit at Sydney airport, but apparently, this flight transits in Adelaide, then from Adelaide to Sydney. In Sydney, i had to check out all my baggage and transfer to the domestic airport. and from the domestic airport, take a plane to brisbane. WTH RIGHT???? peoples flight take 8 hrs, my flight takes 13 hrs. wth la... 1030pm flight, reach brisbane at 1.35pm. TMD! i think thats why i fell sick man. no sleep, so cold on plane and all the seating.. PUI! ANYWAY... the farewell was sweet. eric's brothers and sharmaine came to send me off. so sweet right??? i feel so loved by his family. the day before i left, his mum rubbed me on the shoulders, looked me in the eye and asked me to take care and come back safely. His sister wrote me a farewell letter too. ARHHHHHH i feel so loved seriously. (:  JunFei (big kor), PGP, Me, Long Fei (2nd Kor) and Sharmine (gf)  Family... i heart you... Ugly Betty Modelling Agency returnsits the time of the year again, where theres too many ads and too little models. and because of this shortage, us at Ugly Betty Modelling Agency finally has a take in the advertising industry. as it's a competitive industry, we sent out our strongest models to compete for the ad.   There's Faith, Xueying and Wendy. our top notch models in the comapany. together they have earned our company a break through amount of 20 dollars this year. we're awefully proud of them. to make sure that they are of top notch condition, we sent them for a short warm up training session where they learned to do expressions out of their normal character.   Xueying learns to act gay. i must say he definitely has a potential in the gay industry because he did amazingly well in this section. i will report his great acheivements to the company's director.   The ever beautiful Wendy was thought to give a slutty post. something which we had made sure she perfected.   as for Faith, im speechless. This girl is amazing. i must say she has a natural ability to make people want to puke. i think i shall send her for more "irritating and feel like slapping those girls in the ads" assignment. and here we have it,    our 3 beautiful top notch models of our company. the first assignment we sent our models to is the ad by Putihimura Company. The aim of the ad was to show people that in these new world, girls are getting more and more dominent. so stop firing them once they start a family.   For this shoot, we sent Xueying and Faith. their great chemestry with each other helped make the ad a pleasant shoot to be in. the 2nd assignment we manage to clench was a friendship ad by kikukiku insurence company. the aim of the ad was to show ultimate friendship between 2 individual. the tagline reads "Friends forever, ensured together."  for this assignment we sent out Faith and wendy whom has been friends since eons ago. their amazing friendship and genuine love for each other shined throughout the ad. the company loved it. the 3rd assignment was slightly more challenging. the company wanted an ad that sold computers. what better way then to bring across the msg that nerds and computers are a yesterday cliche. and so yes, we did the ad for wellingtonnnton inc.  for this assignment, we sent Xueying and Wendy. they did a great job portraying nerds. talent i tell you. the 4th and 5th assignment was an ad for Foxy Lady Pte Ltd. they wanted to sell their new collection of watches as well as their new and improved camera. the ad was the typical product in hand shots.   the company was impressed with the shoot because it showed case the msg that was to be driven to the audiences. in this case, the new series of camera was to portray a cool and aloof message, where as the watches was to show case the different type of watches that the company had to offer. be it sporty of glam, you have it! the 6th assignment was for Nokia. wow! a a big brand finally got to us. we are proud to say that we clench the deal when we showed them sample shots of the models in various creatives.  ordinary product in hand shoot.  Nokia, connecting people for the 7th assignment, we clench a deal with LWi. there new spring bag collection was to be launced and they needed vibrant and independent females to compliment their bags.  who else can we send but Wendy and Faith? the 8th assignment was with the comaony Starsuck. the telecommunication company wanted to promote their new chat anywhere anytime theme to young customers and needed exciting and energise females for their ad.  of course, who else can we send but Wendy and Faith? the 9th assignment was with BOU bank. the launch of their new teenage debit card required once again youthful and fun female models that will bring out their youthful and fun image.  however, dispite being told to be youthful and fun, our models Faith and Wendy refused and did their own coceptialised image of what they thought the new debit card should be. Cool and powerful. we lost the deal. the last assignment was for Singapore Tourism Board! what an honour to be able to help out in the promotion of our wonderful city. the theme of the ad was "welcome to Singapore" and all they needed were 2 pretty faces doing the welcome sign.  for this assignment we sent Xueying and Wendy, cause it's really a brainless ad. and yes, that marks the newest portfolio of our models at Ugly Betty Modelling Agency. for potential investors, pls call Esther Kwan at 9190998 for enquries. for portential clients, pls call Esther Kwan at 9190998 for enquries. for potential models, pls call Esther Kwan at 9190998 for enquires. for HR related matters, pls call Esther Kwan at 9190998 for enquires. for pay increment matters, pls DO NOT call Esther Kwan at 9190998 for enquires. Tourist of a day at little IndiaHello all! i just got back to my hotel in Singapore. me and my indian travelling buddy went to little india today. we had an amazing time. it felt good to be surrounded by unfamiliar things and trying out unfamiliar things in this unfamiliar country. im starting to like Singapore already. (: Eventhough the day started really horridly (cause my indian travelling buddy got lost in the streets of Singapore and had me waiting at the ultra hot bus stop for one hour plus), i had the most amazing time. we ate yummy food, did interesting indian things as well as took many great pictures. here are some fabulous photos of what me and my indian travelling buddy did while visiitng little india.   WE'RE FINALLY HERE!    we found a great north indian cuisine place to settle our hungry tummy.   This indian cracker which i learn is called papadum, taste fabulous!    The food was no doubt amazing too! we had these bready like thing called naan as well as butter chicken curry and masala paneer(cottage cheese). the Mango and Sweet lasi (indian yoghurt drink) taste great too!    we proceeded into the streets of little india. the ornuments and historical facts of the place made me feel so enriched with culture!   We found these shops of string flowers everywhere. they give off such a pleasant smell... it still lingers in my mind.   We headed up to a traditional shop.   my indian travelling partner decided to tread her eyebrows. OUCH! but it was quite amazing. we should have such things in korea too!   We continued our street tour. the streets of little india are somewhat different from the usual system i am used to in korea. there seems to be no traffic light law for the people there. crossing the road was quite an experience. but im glad we're alrgihts   We found a shop selling really pretty punjabi suits (thats according to my indian travelling buddy). i wanted to get one, but my backpacking allowance forced me to keep my money in the pocket.   we went to indian accesories shops as well. my indian travelling buddy browsed through some shiny and colourful bracelets while i look at these weird stickers which i soon learned is called putus and are pasted on the foreheads of the beautiful indian ladies.  theses indian puppets were simply beautiful!          im so in love with this traditional indian tattoo. it's a temporary tattoo that leaves brown designs on the body. the process was such an expereince. not only can i get a beatiful girly tattoo, its not permanent too! i got it on my hand whereas my indian travelling buddy got it on her leg. PRETTY!  i found a sweet shop at one of the shop houses. the smell was just diabetic. i dont think i would be trying that anytime soon. after our trip to little india, we met our Singaporean friend Qiuying at this shopping mall known as Plaza Singapura. it was good timing cause the singapore weather really drives one crazy.   this is our Singaporean Friend Qiuying. we must really thank her for telling us to visit little india. it was a great experience.  what a fruitful day we both had. i wonder where we shall go next.... i felt proud wearing the graduationg gown and walking dowl the aisle to collect my certificate. of course, not forgetting the tons of pictures that i took with all my beloved friends who have made the stay in FMS a memorable one. (: i woke up this morning and shouted at both my parents to wish me "happy graduation day". they willingly oblige smiling and saying that they were proud of me etc. it felt good. YES IT FEELS GOOD TO BE A GRADUATE! hahahahahahahah it was a rush morning as i qucikly dressed up and took a cab to school. it was only when i reached school did i realise i was inappropriately dressed. whahahah firstly, i was wearing open toe coloured heels, which was a supoosed no no. then i was wearing short sleeve instead of long sleeve. oh my... i totally forgot to check the graduation website la. -_- but never mind la. everything went well. (: so yes, we were briefed, went into the auditoriam, sang the national anthem, watched a graduation video and were presented with out diploma certs. as cliche as it sounds, i had a flashback of my years spent in ngee ann. it literally felt as if we just got in not long ago. the quarrels amongst group memebers, the bitching about teachers, the arguing of grades with lectureres, the seating at the benches at the underpass and LSCT block to discuss projects, the seating at canteen 1 and buoying guys, the seating at canteen 2 and buoying guys, the seating at canteen 5 and buoying guys, the seating at alumni cafe and buoying guys.... wahahahahah you get the drift. i rememeber mei mei even say one guy was looking at her la... oh my... :P it was a short ceremony, but one i will remember. the happy faces of all the graduates and the red scrollbox with our "cert". i felt older and more mature somehow. it's definitely signalled the time to move on to another phase in my life. (; Graduatants gone wild ME the graduate! ma was fussing over my gown and hair etc... i think i should have tied up my hair for the event. but she insisted that i look younger with my hair down. really meh?  Ma and Pa with me. look at their beaming faces. (: i know they are damn proud of me eventhough my dad keep saying "why you never get award huh? but ok la, you can graduate i very happy le" -_- but i still thank you for putting me through school. i know it's alot alot of money that you have invested on me, so i'll definitely repay you both back when i start working. I LOVE YOU!  Angie. my bestest buddy in the clique. we've been through so much haven we? since year one apple project, the chiangmai trip with all the misunderstandings, the year 2 gang, the year "we take all the same modules together" 3. i'll miss you most because i practically grew up in FMS with you. all the booking of camera for shoots, staying till late to do editing, messing up our advert, last minute studying, making fun of weird people, rushing to class cause we late.... all these memories my dear angie, i will definitely put in my heart. you've been a great constant in my 3 years. i love you.  Elon tan Ee lon... hahah i love poking fun of his name. i remember KL once said, "can you imagine if your name was Faith Tan Fai th? "damn funny laaaaa!!!! he's my mac buddy. forever suaning windows users one he. luckily i not that bad yet :P  WEEEEE we're so happy we graduated. haha. the pretty girl on the left is Little Miss Perfect Evie. :P hahaha but she bitches too ok! so font be fooleddd whahahahahah... working with her has been great because we're always on track with her leadership skills. (:  Me, Meiyi and Evie with our lightsabers...  My clique minus gera cause we coudnt find her at that moment. (: i like this pic alot. meian looks so cute laa! hahaha but she's the serious worker in my clique. we can always trust her to do the paper work. and surprise surprise, she's wendy ong's distant cousin. so qiao right? AND I FORGOT LAAA! she's the walking encyclopedia... we've nicknamed her zmapedia cause she freaking knows freaking everything! hahah...  My clique with Adiel, Evangeline and Joyce. (:  Qiqi. Im so proud of her. she's so strong and determined despite her handicap. im glad i got to know and work with her during year one. (:  My Brisbane apartment mate!!! im so glad it's her im going with. she's the life of the party. her high pitch "qing qing!" and all the weird enthics that she's capable of just makes people draw close to her. go brisbane make new friends jiu kao ta le. :P  Mei Yi/Mei Mei. my arch enemy in the clique. ahahahahahhahaha we're always squabbling. but its what makes me enjoy her company loads. her character rocks la.. and she's a steady steady worker. it's like next next week need to hand up assignment, she this week finish le. always make us kan chiong one. tmd...  Gel! he's changed the most. from the nerdy boy to the stylish guy he is now. super proud of him too. he's always willing to help out. and did i mention that his camera and editing skills are amazing?  Year One clique minus meian(left) and Gel. there're otheres, but we couldnt get them. (:   Anthony and Marcus. my internship friends from FSV. (:  Finally we found geraldine! but then evie and zma dunno go where le... and mei mei refuse to wear her gown... wah lau.. extra... hahahah  Geraldine lau xue fen. the future superstar. seriously, it's because of her i started realising that dreams need to be chased, cannot just keep waiting for oppotunity. oppotunity also must go and find. i really really admire her hardwork and determination. all the tons of songs she has written, all the art work she has designed. oh my... this little talent is a unpolished diamond who will soon shine when the time is right. (:  The almost full clique.  Yay!!! we graduated! wootttttt  with our Chinese presentation skills teacher MR GUO! he's super duper nice yet able to drive the point across to us with his teaching tectics.  and lastly, with Paul, the gung ho guy who stirves hard for what he wants. glad that he got his dip with merit and his Singapore press holding award. the picture's abit off cause i had to redo the brightness and contrast thing cause my mother took this pict and i my face turned out fully white... hahahahahahahah i had a great graduation. hahah what a great start up line. aiya, dont care la, blogging now has been more or a photo upload thing (: so yes, enough of my nonsense rambling... photos photosss... Steven and Godwin visits SingaporeOur Hk Canadian friend Steven came to Singapore with his friend Godwin recently. ii told steven that t's a damn bad time to come la cause the weather has been a big ass. but nevertheless, they enjoyed Singapore and said they'll visit again. hahahahahah must thank wendy, cause she brough them around. being the lazy and cannot stand the heat me, i just met them for dinner twice (: bought them to food republic on the first night we met cause they wanted an air con place with local food. well, Godwin had his hainanese chicken rice and Steven had his prata... but all these at a super over prized rate. hahahahaha sorry la... i dunno where the good chicky rice place is either ma... :P went marina square to bowl after dinner. FUN! i long kao so many times still can be ultimate winner. *beams* (insert most zuay face here)   them bowling. hahaha it was quite hillarious, cause they slowly caught my disease of balls fallling into the long gao... :P  Godwin and Steven. STEVEN MUST LEARN HOW TO SMILE LAAA!     (:  the score at the bottom is my. hahahaha look at all the dashes... but somehow i finished the last shot with a strike and ended up being 3rd instead of last... ahahah the 2nd game i WON!!!!! (insert zuay face AGAIN) since the nice people treated us to bowling, we brought them to Xin Wang for late night dessert. it's super ironic cause they're hongkies and we're bringing them to a hongkong themed restaurant. hahahah... but ok la... they quite like the dessert  Steven with his Red Bean ice. hahaha he couldnt believe how big it was. ;P wendy went to JB with them on their 2nd last day in Singapore. they wanted to go because they wanted to get the chop on their passport. -_- well, glad they came back safely then... (:   went to liquid kitchen at thomson. hahahha Steven ordered the Singapore Sling and Godwin ordered the Blue Lagoon.. hmm... they didnt comment about it so i guess it's still alrights (:     pictures before they left with wendy to sing KTV. hahahha i couldnt go cause of my bloody curfew... damn :( in all, it was a fun time hanging out with them. it's nice to know friends from other countries, i know if im heading to toronto, they'll definitely be happy to bring me out. (: one interesting thing they found about Singapore is the MRT terrorist video. they keep imitating our accent and copying what the video ad said. it's quite hillarious. oh wells, we'll miss you both ya! glad you guys came over. Korean BBQwent korean bbq with Eric, his 2 brothers and their gf's. quite weird at first when only us and his 2nd brother and gf was there cause they were both very quite. but it became better when his big bro came. they didnt talk much to me, but atleast their convers with each other lightend up the atmosphere. (;  i like AWON best for their korean bbq. it's very simple dishes, but it's so homely and authentic that it made me return so many times with new people (: glad eric liked it too  happy with the food  so happy he wanted to stuff the chopstick up his nose -_-(you ruin my pictureeeee assss)  the tofu there rocks.. and i look like da pian here.... hahahah  prawn killerssss! (: it was fun! it's nice having so many sibs. luckily the gf's didnt engage into competitve mode. if not the whole night we'll just see the guys enjoying moments of nice-ness from us... (eg. feeding them etc..) yucks... wendy asked me to go Bangkok with her in late May... YES PLS! (: |
