So I take back any sarcastic, mocking remarks I've made about Seabiscuit. It's a good movie. Too bad I didn't get to watch the last 20 minutes of it. Grr. Manager came in, touched my shoulder, scaring the hell out of me, and asked us to come outside. His wife had hurt her back AGAIN. I swear that woman can't move without hurting herself. So we had to go babysit his kids for about half an hour until he could leave the cinema. I hope he doesn't ask me to do this again EVER because kids freak me out in general nowadays and I really don't want to be responsible for babies.
So after I left there, I ended up at Wal-mart to buy a few things for my dad. Of course, I ended I spending shitloads of money. I bought 4 of those $6 dvds for myself and 2 for my dad, not that he appreciated it since he doesn't have his own dvd player. I'll probably give them to my uncle since he will buy one soon. My movies were Suicide Kings, which I watched last night. It was alright. It had Denis Leary, Christopher Walkin, Powder, and that young guy from Roseanne in it. I also got Very Bad Things, Monkey Bone, and Bedazzled. I bought Freeway the night before. I've been told it's pretty good.
We were gonna go to the fair last night but the people who had the idea in the first place decided they didn't have the money to go. Which is silly since it's free to get in and nobody wanted to ride anything in the first place. Those cakes can't cost that much.
I have come to the conclusion that I hate those security stickers on games/dvds/cds more than anything else in this world at the moment. It was bad enough when they first started putting them on, but now they have three. Three. It takes me 15 minutes to open whatever I bought. It sucks. |
