kalloway - I am about 2 hours and 45 minutes into Xenosaga and I can't say that I am enjoying yet. I haven't had a chance to get used to the battle system. It seems more or less like the Xenogears battle system, just with a bunch of extra stuff to make it seem more complicated.

The fact that you get points to upgrade stats, techs, ethers, and every damn thing else is enough to drive someone like me insane, since I like to make uber characters, etc. I don't really understand some of it yet. There seems to be a grid sort of similar to FFX for learning ethers. And what is the deal with techs? I know you can upgrade speed, strength, and wait, but how do you learn others? Do you just get them when you level up? I don't have the guidebook, but I get walkthroughs off of GameFAQs. The one I am using seems all right, but doesn't give me pointers when to upgrade stats or anything.

I spent more money on clothes Monday. 3 pairs of pants and 3 shirts. Spent about $22 on them, then bought a bunch of soap at Bath and Body Works since it was only 99 cent right now.

I was so pissed off yesterday. I went into work at 11am and had a shitload of stuff to get done. It was busy as hell for a Tuesday so there wasn't really time to do any of it. The other guy working got some Tomb Raider stuff put together so I had to figure out how the hell to hang it up from the ceiling. We managed to do it though. We also got some nifty pins. The Tomb Raider ones are alright, but we also got The League of Extraordinary Gentleman pins. Pins for each character. Woo! I have a nice Dorian Gray (Immortal) pin now. Stuart Townsend is damn fine. Now if we just get some cool Pirates of the Caribbean stuff, I will be very happy.

Anyway, back to the point of my bitching... My friend/asst manager really needed some people to come in since some people had to go out of town suddenly, but no one would come in. These two guys refused to come in, but then their dumb asses came up there and stood around for like 4 hours. I was so close to cussing them out. The reason I was so mad was because I had to stay all fucking day and night because those bastards wouldn't work. So I worked like 12 hours yesterday. I have today and tomorrow off at least. Friday and Saturday, I go in at 5pm, which sucks because we have 12:30am shows both those nights. I'll be there forever.

Well, I guess I better get to playing Xenosaga since I actually have some time now.
