Here are my reviews of the two movies I saw Thursday night:

Once Upon a Time in Mexico - Suck. This movie was confusing and corny as hell. The plot was extremely simple which means that the director REALLY sucks since nobody that watched it with us could keep everything straight. Johnny Depp looked great and was funny but even he couldn't make this movie 'good'. I didn't hate the movie but I don't think I could sit through it again. Maybe if there was more action and less of Antonio Banderas playing guitar.

Matchstick Men - W00t! This movie was pretty good. At first, I thought it would be a sappy family thing, and it had a little of that, but it also had a bit of everything else. Nicolas Cage was funny, but you definitely felt sorry for him. Sam Rockwell, or whatever his name is, was cute and amusing. You think the movie plot is pretty straightforward until the end where you leave the movie going "OMGWTFBBQ?!" But in a good way.

My manager has decided to teach a little self defense class amongst friends and whatnot, so starting Wednesday I will probably be whining about how sore and/or bruised I am. I am looking forward to learning stuff, but I mostly just hope to get in a little better shape.

I only got to work for an hour and a half last night. Someone had to go home so I volunteered since I would have probably lost whatever little deciding game we would have played. My check is probably gonna be pretty crappy next Friday unless I work next Sunday. I will probably have to work all day Saturday the 27th. I really wish he would hire someone else.

I got invited to Carowinds sort today but I have to work, and I don't know if they got the extra ticket anyway. He never called back to tell me, since I told him there was no one to work for me today, I guess.

Oh, and I went to the fair Thursday evening. It sucked.
