2:27p - Return
It has been too long since my last blog. My stated reason for avoiding blogging was the great quantity of academic writing that I have to do before the end of the semester. This was a bad decision, especially considering the miniscule amount that I actually accomplished over the last two weeks. I had long maintained to others that absence from online activities such as blogging and instant messaging in favor of homework was a ridiculous idea. I was right. Abstention does not work for me; I wind up involved in far less productive procrastinating activities. LiveJournal, etc. help keep my hands on the keyboard, away from the idle pleasures of the mouse and the remote control. I will see you all around a lot more.

2:42p - Foul Smells
The hallway outside my room now smells awful, very much like the hallways of a nursing home. The smell is a combination of perfume and cleaning fluid. The perfume is the type that some old women tend to use when they have obviously lost their sense of smell. The cleaning fluid is the type and strength you would actually need only if you wanted to sanitize the elephant habitat at a zoo. This is especially unfortunate since the smell leaks so easily into my room.
