grr. i had a good update all typed up and then my explorer window closed. roar. >.<
anyway... last night i hung out/drove around with lauren until around, uhh... 10:30ish? we went to this place called Bigelow Hollow, a woodsy park type place full of trails and ponds, and boat launches, picnic areas, swimming areas... a very pretty place. we helped a turtle cross the road so it wouldn't get smooshed. then we came back to my house, went to big y, went to cumberland farms (major awkwardness there...), and then somehow ended up at dane's house. we hung out there by the bonfire and on his front steps until about 20 past 10. i had to work in the morning, so i didn't want to be out too late.
my heels are both blistered from my work boots. =/
i'm going to start riding Malachi. he's such a kick-ass horse. i heart him. (mal's a semi-large AppaloosaX at my barn.) he has a major problem with one hind leg, because when he was younger his first owner beat him with a metal shovel and it permanently crippled his right hind leg. poor baby =( once he's back in shape (his owner isn't strong enough to ride him), he'll be uber-fun to gallop through the fields and just have a good time on. we got 3 new boarder horses this week. one is a big painted draftX stallion named Painter (he's absolutely wonderfully gorgeous. and he's gorgeous when he runs around o.0), another is a little tiny shetland pony who's also painted named Sailor (he's ADORABLE!), and the last is a big 17.2hh bay mare named Isis. she's a very good looking horse, despite her total skinniness and the fact that she's not in shape at all. but i'm sure once she puts some weight on she'll be absolutely stunning.
now i must go find some bandaids for my poor heels. nyeow.
