What's been going on with everyone? Not many philly people seem to be using blurty...
Anyway just wanted to say hello to all the Philadelphian's out there. I live in the Rittenhouse sq part of the city, right next to the park actually. So if anyone lives close by and want to hang out sometime...let me know. I'm trying to be a more social person.

living in south florida, and being surrounded by bucs fans (especially after last year's disgusting display with them) i was really hoping we would kick their ass two weeks ago. and then when we lost, i was really really praying we would decapitate the patriots to make up for it.... so depressing, isn't it??
I just think McNabb hasn't been the same since he broke his leg, and it's causing a lot of problems.
i hope they get with it soon :(

Hi everyone--
I just joined this community today since I will be moving to Philadelphia in August to pursue my master's degree (in publication management) at Drexel U. I'm really excited about moving down there (I currently reside in western Massachusetts) as it's the first place that I've instantly fallen in love with. I already have my living arrangements secured (near the Drexel campus in University City), and I can't wait to get out there.
So, basically, hello to everyone-- I don't know anyone really in the city so I'm really glad this community exists. :)

I'll start too.. what do you people find most interesting about Philly? What in your mind are the fun things to do here? I'd mention what I do for fun here... but sad enough, I don't really get to spend much time around here, so it's mostly movies and dinner. I'd love to hear what other people do here.

srry......forgot 2 tell ya a lil bout me.....i live outside of philly....in nj....right acroos the river...i grew up goin 2 phillys games...i went 2 flyers playoff game 1 time....never been 2 eagles or sixers nd i hope 2 soon....im gonna miss the vet cause i no my way around that place like i no the way around my house....so as im tryin 2 say...philly is an awesome place...........nd i no a lot about the sports teams....(o yea...ive also been 2 some kixx games)

Ok, so I'm new here, so I guess I'll introduce myself. I'm 19 years old, a college sophmore, and born and raised in Philly. I'm Central High class of '01, and I am currently a sophmore at Arcadia University. I'm a huge fan of all the sports teams here, and, I guess that's bout it. hopefully this community will pick up.
