wow... 2007...
time pass so fast...
visa finally got approved on the 29th..
then i just went to buy my air tix...
confirmed all details...
weird that my mum actually asked me a funny question earlier..
asked if i will miss home...
OF COURSE LA!!!!!!!!!
sigh...
bought the one-way ticket...
dunno when i will be back again...
sian...
anyway.. new year...
time for me to look back and reflect... and a look at my resolutions set for last year...
i guess i had grown up quite abit..
its like so much had happened..
that i dunno where to start..
looking back.
i can only say i live with no regrets..
wonderful memories fill me with thoughts of 2006..
i travelled alot this year..
in a span of a year...
i explored the adventurous Taiwan with my best frens..
went on a short holiday in Bintan..
gone on a Malaysia Salsa Festival in Cherating...
Family trip to Bangkok...
wonderful week in Hong Kong..
wow... thats really quite alot..
hmm.. lets take a look at the resolutions i set for myself last year... strike out means its done...
heheh...
1. nothing fantastic i hope for except my frends to understand me..
now.. i simply dun care liao.. cause some people are just plain stubborn.. and so i will not care less now..
2. my health to improve..
in fact.. its alot better... with me losing more than the supposed weight... hehehe...
3. to learn more dances...
yup.. picked up Rhumba... and Street Cha-cha... okie... i am happy.. hahah... knowing more dances now..
4. to earn earn enough to support myself after ORD...
definitely~!.... with jobs at Mediacorp... and MOE... both pays alot better than miserable NS pay... haha... how to survive on $400 a month?... hehehe...
5. pick up the pieces and move on...
yup..it happened... we are friends now..
6. ORD in peace and not create to much trouble...
definitely!... my replacement was very capable indeed!~.. and we still kept in touch.. haha...
7. let my good friends understand me more...
yup.. best friends understnad me alot better now.. and th Taiwan trip bond us together closer!.. haha... will never foret the times..
8. For my own family to understand me...
they do now.. thanks to the numerous talks we had with one another.. *grin*
9. Last but not least.. to search for my own happiness....
i am happy now.. period..
seems like the resolutions i set for 2006 were more or less completed..
ahaha.. ALL were striked thru...
now..
for resolutions this year...
1. Be more independent in Gold Coast.
2. Preserved all the relationships I have here in Singapore be it friendships or relationships with family members.
3. Be more self-sufficient than I am already am right now.
4. Improve on my health.
5. Pick up a new sport when i am in Gold Coast.
6. Try to remember how to Salsa, Bachata, Cha-cha, Rhumba and Reuda by end of the year.
7. To try reaching and maintaining my grades at the top or near top level.
think i am done writing...
well... seems like the countdown for me has started..
my days left here in Singapore is numbered..
*sob*..
but then..
shall try my best to enjoy all i can here before i go over...
