8:56 am - Rocking Climbing @Camp5
|
Went for rock climbing at Camp5 @ 1U last night. Was a good session there. Not too bad, earlier this morning went to Gua Tempurung final stage and now another session of rock climbing.
After that went to HIDE to have a few beers and supper.
Arrggh, it's Friday again. sucks that times flies too fast..

At PappaKopitiam with KC and PY now. Everyone is blogging here. Haha. Was working at home, them met up lunch with my ex colleagues and head to Starbucks Curve the whole afternoon.
Will be out at 11am tomorrow for a meeting. Probably will be going to the office afternoon.
Oh, btw, my company gave me a reserved parking lot at the Leisure Commerce Square. Haha so I do not have to find trouble finding for parking. Sounds good huh?

Today is my last day at FORMIS BASS Software.
Came in about 10.30. Online, doing some reading, checking on some sites. Nothing much.
Tonight my boss and another colleague, Richie wanna buy me beer at Luna Bar. So we're going upstairs after work. I got no plans tonight, so is okay.
Thursday and Friday will be a good break for me. I have just booked IronMan on Friday night, so gonna go watch with PY. Good time to spend with her. Oh, she also took leave on that day. Haha.
Although it was only 5 months, but it was good experience.

This post is not meant to self promote myself
One of my colleague came and pass me a letter in the afternoon. It was my acceptance of resignation letter from the company. She also just knew that I'll be leaving the company, and my last day is tomorrow.
She complimented saying that she thinks I am a better sales person compare to the rest of the sales ppl here. I was quite curious why did she say that. She added that is her observation from the way i talked to the customers, how i packaged myself and how I wear. She says she like the way I wear my clothes.Haha. Anyway...she mentioned that i should be working in a better company.
I hardly talk to her cos she's the secretary of another VP. I think I have only spoken to her once, and that was begining of the year.
What striked me was, we are alawys been observed by the ppl around us. They might not be talking to you, but they're always observing you. I think is the same. I always observe ppl around me. How they talk, how they package themself, and how they wear to presend the individual.
I personally believe in packaging and branding our individual. It is very important because it gives a certain impression to the ppl you're talking to. When you meet ppl, the first thing they will decide on is by looking at you.
You'll be surprised, if you wanna look slightly older on that day, you can dress differently. When I meet ppl who are senior than me, e.g. CEO, i dress differently. I tend to dress in more plain colours. Like plain blue shirt with black tie, example. I also believed in dressing according to occations. Dressing speaks about our personality.
Hmn, just my thought that's all.

KUALA TERENGGANU: A robber not only carted away cash and belongings but before that had the cheek to lie naked beside a woman whose house he'd broken into.
The victim, a 36-year-old housewife, wrote in her report that she was fast asleep in the hall of her house at Kampung Bukit Tok Beng in Seberang Takir, when she was awakened by a naked man.
She claimed she was not aware that the man, who had caressed and slept beside her, was not her husband.
She said the intruder also had covered his face with a T-shirt.
The man tried to coax the woman to go into another room, saying he was drunk.
The woman then called out her husband's name and the thief replied ?I am him?.
The housewife smelled something fishy as his voice didn't sound like her husband's. She then went to another room and found her husband fast asleep on the couch.
That's when she screamed causing the thief to flee by leaping out the window together with the stolen items.

10:30 am - Food, Drinks, Friends

Friday:
After work I picked up PY and we headed to 1U. We had our dinner at the Ipoh Chicken Rice shop at Jalan Gasing. Our friend KC called and said that he is free for the night, apparently his cell got canceled. PY needed to buy some tops so we went shopping abit. She bought 2 shirts from G2000. KC called and we decided why not we go over to Curve to have some drinks and chill. Curve was packed with lots of ppl, the pubs, the cafe, ppl waiting to watch movie...Curve is like the place to hang out, alternative besides going to places like bangsar, hartamas, KL. We had drinks at LaundryBar, Curve till about 12+. Had 2 jugs and had their LaundryChicken.
You know normally you will feel hungry after having beer. So we decided to go to Kepong's Bak Kut Teh for supper! Haha yeah at 1am. By the time we finished it was already 2am and time to go back.
So it was quite an exiciting day, of cos besides not having anything to do at the office.
Saturday:
Nothing much during the day. Met with PY and my church friends for dinner. I met up with KC at night for beer at HIDE. John was supposed to come, but again he is always lazy. Haha.
Sunday:
Mother's Day. Flowers? no lar, no flowers. Brought my family to TGI Fridays at The Curve. Thank God that I made my reservation, if not we probably end up at the mamak near Tesco. Haha. They have not been to FRIDAYS before, so I thought, why not?
Today is Monday, yeap Im still at home. Going into office later. Last day will be Wednesday and nothing much for this few days.

Quite a productive day yesterday. I met up Benny Wong for lunch. It's been awhile since we caught up. Had Bak Kut Teh at Imbi, the famous place with their choo-tou-tong. Good time chatting with him, and updating each other. He is good. I guess everyone's agenda is bout the same. work, friends, etc.
Had dinner at FRIDAYS 1U with PY. I like their Marinated Grilled Lamb. So far is the best dish to me at FRIDAYS. PY had their Jack Daniels Chicken. As usual, our Onion Cheese Soup.
Met up with EricLim after our dinner at 1U. We met at the mamak near CenterPoint. Nothing much, just catching up.

4:05 pm - A Good Weekend
|
Spend the whole Saturday at home, resting.
Brought my youths to Teluk Gong for dinner. I was in charged of the activity and the programme for that day was 'Jalan Jalan Cari Makan'. Haha yeah...so we headed down to Klang about 5+, picked up PY on the way and went off to Teluk Gong. Luckly, I made my reservation before that cos the place was packed with ppl. loads of ppl..
We had crab, chicken, lala...Quite satisfying. The kids love it. A total of 13 of us. Invited KC and he came along. After that I brough them to Klang Jaya for the famous Fried Chicken, or some of us call if Porno Chicken. Haha. They had fun. By the time we got back was about 11pm. Interesting day.
Was quite a normal Sunday, PY came over to my house after church, watched tv and had dinner with my parents.
My last day at work will be 14th (Wednesday). Yeap, didn't expected it to be so fast cos I though it will be either Thursday or Friday, so, just trying to hand over my stuff. I will probably start my new job right after this...

11:49 am - Leaving on a jet plane

I just wanted to make this as a separate post.
'Leaving on a jet plane'? What is this about?
Surprise! I will be leaving my current FORMIS tentatively on the 16/17 May 2008.
I was given an opportunity by a business partner to join his company. Where? I shall tell you more later. It is a singapore based company, but I will be based in KL.
I will be joining them as a Business Development Manager. Main stream market will be corporate sector, e.g. banks, manufacturing etc. Tentative joining date will be on the 19th May.
My role in summary will be managing the business in Malaysia and also ad hoc oversea business as well. I will be responsible of the business development activity in Malaysia, business expansion planing, resource planing and current on-going operations. They have established a registered and local office in Sunway, so I'll be either working from there, or anywhere.
My direct boss will be in Singapore and yeah, will be working alot with Singaporeans. In terms of delivery on projects, they already have a technical lead here whom I will be working closely with eventually.
So that's the updates for now and indeed I am looking forward.

11:35 am - Free

Quite a free day. Nothing much, and most ppl are on leave today. Why am I at the office? Should have stayed at home or gone somewhere. Anyway..
yesterday was a publich holiday. woke up at 8am (yes it was a holiday) and went to klang. Had breaky with PY's family for dim sum at KEC klang. Sat there till about lunch time and headed back to my house. She had to practice her violin, exams coming soon.
Our plan was to go to Cheras, Pandan Indah for dinner. So before that we head to Sungai Wang to service my camera. Bought my camera there, since went bak there to service it. Have to wait for maybe a few weeks though. Waited for some time and left about 7+ to Cheras. So myself, PY and KC also was with us though.
Zara, Ted Baker had some warehouse sale at Corus Hotel, Jalan Ampang and I bought a Ted Baker leather belt. Cost about RM199. Of cos it's pure leather and it's from London. Haha. The current belt which I am wearing now, guess I wore for how long? 10 Yrs! I bought it when I was in form3, 1998! Haha..yes, believe it or not?
It's friday, and like I've said, is a very day. Probably won't be sitting here whole day lar. Don't know what am I going to do here.
