Thanks be to any and all of the Powers That Be, including the ones I don't really like, such as TimeWarner Cable, because our internet has been fixed. Really fixed, not "visit all the sites you can in five minutes" fixed. Totally fixed. Unless it breaks again, in which case I will be royally pissed. Again.
I swear to God, this damned Accutane has completely altered my reality. In my old reality, my forehead left grease marks on my papers if I rested it on them, which largely put paid to my sleeping in school. My hair needed washing a second time in the evening if I really wanted it to look nice and clean. Lotion was at best completely pointless and at worse an insidious way of tormenting me with artificial scents. But I did have perfectly nice, soft lips, and I drank water all the time.
Suddenly, my skin is bone dry, leaving me scrambling anxiously for some kind of non-pointless lotion (Aveeno Daily Moisturizing is doing pretty well by me). Lotion is no help when it actually starts peeling, though, which is what my face does. My lips are also peeling, that is where they aren't cracking or featuring a cold sore. I still drink water all the time, but it doesn't help. The only upside is that I can totally wash my hair every other day, and it looks great. Unlike my lips. They look horrific.
Well, that's my reality. I'm getting pretty sick of it.
