2005.01.20 17.42 A Random Piece of Insanity Gaaaah. Because my children's story is going nowhere (and tomorrow's the deadline, darn it!), I decided to stop for a moment and write here. It's annoying, really. The story's only supposed to be at most two pages long but I can't even finish it. >___< What is wrong with me?! I hate writer's block... Er, anyway. Enough about that. ^^; I decided to post here a certain story idea that I had about a week ago...after a certain lunch break I spent with a bunch of people I knew from my other org. (Vague, ne? ^^;) They were talking about that certain forbidden four-letter word (so don't you dare say it), and how they always, always see it in most anime series that I like, even when all the guys are so obviously heterosexual. *sigh* But I guess everyone is entitled to an opinion, so I don't think I can say anything against what they think. ^^; (Sobra na nga lang paminsan, though. Ehehe.) And I think I really did have too much of them, so...I thought of this really, really weird idea. Yes. So my story idea is...a yaoi parody. ( Oh no! 2004.12.27 17.19 And I thought I was careful, but... Wah...I was wrong. It doesn't snow on Konoha. >_< They have no winter, so my fic was wrong. ...Or do they? I'm confused...@_@ Help... I guess I should have had the fic beta-read first before I posted it. Gah. I thought all along that Konoha, though it is not set in Japan entirely, was based on Japan, so I readily assumed that they'd have a winter season. And I read a fic by a writer I really thought was good that had it snowing on Konoha. But then, I find this fic...a NaruSasu one, no less...entitled "First Frost". And it was about the first snowfall in Konoha, and how the current characters reacted to it. Great. Just great. >_< Come to think of it, there was that one part in the manga...in the Haku/Zabuza arc. *sigh* I wish I had my scanlations with me. So does it? Snow on Konoha, I mean? In any case, do read my fic. ^^; I already posted it on ff.net. (Just don't mind the parts that I described it snowing on Konoha. Wehehe.) Note to self: Research next time. 2004.06.09 10.08 Naruto/Hinata fic snippet Finally got around to writing it...at least half of it. -_-; I really want to join that contest...I still can't seem to finish it, though.. Anyway, here you go...it's the Hinata-centered fic that can be a Naruto/Hinata fic, too. You'll see why later on...the NaruHina parts aren't included in the snippet yet, though. (read: I still haven't written them. ^^;) As usual, comments will be really appreciated! ^___^ I really hope Hinata's in character...*twiddles thumbs* At least that's how I thought an older Hinata would be. And I don't have a title yet. -_-; My tentative title is "The Mission"...but it's too...ordinary. >_<; Boring. Any suggestions? 2004.05.05 19.21 Original Story: Meero I wanted to post this on fictionpress.com, but since I'm too lazy to encode...I guess I'll put it here first. It's a writing blog, after all... Any comments, minna? Please? ^_^ You see, this was the story I submitted for the Amelia Lapeña Bonifacio Literature contest, a writing contest that was held here in UP. ^_^ Comments would be truly appreciated... I don't know why, but I like writing children's stories better when I'm writing original fiction. ^^; Maybe because I've lived a mostly sheltered sort of life, so I can't really write about political issues; or issues about love and relationships; or issues about domestic problems...since I never experienced them firsthand, and I could never give accurate descriptions of such situations, and the feelings a person can have when put in such situations. But I was a child, once, (and I still think like a child, sometimes), so I can write children's stories, and I know what children like to read. Well, here goes... Meero had been a stray cat for as long as he could remember. He never had a home of his own, and he never had a human family to take care of him. He was also an orphan—he did not even have a single memory of his parents at all. The only family he ever had was his friend, Tigris, who was also a stray cat like him. And just a few months ago, the two of them stumbled upon a temporary home: a huge building which the humans called a “school”. It was a wonderful place for the two of them, for there were garbage cans everywhere, full of unfinished human food, and now they never had to go hungry again. Meero should have been happy, he knew, but somehow, seeing all those humans made him feel very sad. No, it wasn’t that the humans weren’t nice to him, but they never noticed him, and it was Tigris whom all those humans loved. And now Tigris was leaving. ( Continue reading... ) Another note. I don't know why, but somehow, most of the Philippine books for children that I've read are so...well, serious. They hardly have any humor, at least none that I could appreciate, even when I was a kid. O_o They're really nice and well-written, and the stories are so full of moral lessons, but... And so far, all the stories I've written don't have any humor, too. -_-; Must be from reading all those other books...gah. I'll try to put some humor in my stories...I mean, children want to read to enjoy, and not just to think. Maybe that's one reason why the Harry Potter books were so popular. J.K. 2004.04.24 09.44 On Why I Still Haven't Finished A Single Naruto Fic Gah. I have so many ideas for some Naruto fics, and I really want to write...but I also don't want to write them yet. >_<; Ehehe, it's weird, I know...it's just that, since the manga isn't finished yet, I was afraid that since there are still so many things that can happen in the manga, the events in my fic can never happen. Like what happened to that Raiha/Fuuko fic I wrote before. (Why did Anzai Nobuyuki have to do that, anyway? *sob*) Well, yes, I guess I can say that my fic's an AU...but...I want my fics to actually be possible in the canon Naruto universe. ^^; *sigh* But it's as if these fics are demanding to be written. ^^; So I can't help but want to write, either... So far, I have an idea for a fluffy Shikamaru/Ino fic ("On Doing the Laundry" XD), three ideas for a Naruto/Hinata fic (that fic idea I told you about before; "The Mission"; and a certain Hinata-centered fic that can be Naruto/Hinata, too.), and one for an angsty Sasuke/Sakura fic (erm, it's actually a Sasuke/Sakura/Lee love triangle fic set in the future. I'm not sure if I'm going to write it, though, because I felt sorry for Lee in that fic...;_;). O.o I wonder if I'll be able to write them all. (I envy my younger sister...she already finished her Shikamaru/Ino fic. And she's only ten years old, mind you. ^^;) Speaking of which, Kitsune no Hana, that really nice Naruto/Hinata shrine I recently found, is having a Naruto/Hinata one-shot fanfiction contest, and the deadline is still on June 11. ^_^ Anyway, just to satisfy my Naruto fanfiction writing cravings (whee, what a term) I joined this certain Naruto RPG, where I play Rock Lee. ^_^ We still lack many of the main characters, so it would be nice if you guys would like to join...^^ Besides, the RPG is set right before the Chuunin exam, so you don't have to watch the whole series before joining. ******** I actually found a Kabuto/Shizune fic. O_o It's one of the most unlikely pairings I've ever seen...and I'm not a fan of it, either... but the thing is, I did think of it before. (Yes, bonk me now.) 2004.03.06 22.08 Proof of Existence Hehe! What a title, ne? ^^; I was really stressed out because of all the requirements we needed to pass (and the exams I have to study for), so to relieve all the stress, I took a break and went online. And now I feel so accomplished. ^_^  torajediI need to write my NaruHina fic soon, since Naruto's slowly becoming mainstream here in our country...-_-;;; Augh. Speaking of Naruto, Idi-chan, you finally posted Pin-up Boy! XD Heehee. I'll submit a decent review when I'm feeling better. 2003.11.08 18.57 Prologue I've finally started writing the NaNoWriMo story...(only 47.000 words to go!!! Give or take) The story is entitled, "Flame". It's a fantasy story, as most of my stories are, although it is decidedly darker than all my other stories. It's mostly because I have a different type of main character this time, (although my main character's still female), and also because there more violence in the plot. Hehe, the prologue itself is actually disturbing. ^^; I still want to insert a bit of humor every now and then, of course. ^_^ So here's the prologue, and comments would be really, really appreciated! ^_^ Don't be afraid to point out really stupid grammar errors or whatnot. I need your suggestions. ^^; ( Prologue ) I think Soujirou's episode (Rurouni Kenshin) affected me too much. I always seem to be writing these sort of scenes. 2003.11.08 16.44 Writing Journal Yes, I finally got myself a writing journal. ^_^ Hehe, although nobody else knows about this journal yet. (LOL! I can post whatever I want and nobody will be able to read it!!! XD XD XD) Not yet at least. ^^; Anyway, this will probably house certain fragments of unfinished novels, etc., and most especially the novel I'm going to cram for NaNoWriMo...(yes, I joined it too...). I hate being such a mediocre writer. And the funny thing is, writing is actually one of my biggest passions. ^^; The really ironic thing about life is that you never can excel in things you really love. ...or maybe that's only the case with my life.
