: And it’s time to start another new year…
with an Update!!! (I know how much everyone has been waiting for one) I’ll start with the big events of the break.
Christmas Eve: Had a technical Christmas Day dinner (Stephen’s step-mom was on call Christmas day, so they improvised). Stephen’s grandparents came over and we did “Christmas” with them. Went to Christmas Eve Mass (the Episcopalian VersionTM).
Christmas Day: Woke up at before unknown hour (8:30am) to open presents. Opened presents (got some nice ones, btw). Ate breakfast (Yay! for pancakes!). Watched the last two movies in the Lord of the Rings series and the behind-the-scenes featurettes.
Day after Christmas: Woke up even earlier (6am), drove to Kissimmee, opened presents, left for airport, and flew to Salt Lake City.
Next three days: Skied
Day before New Year’s Eve: Came home, went out with Erin and Ryan to Scary Steak & Shake.
New Year’s Eve: Went to Japanese Steak House with Dad. Stephen got sick and went to sleep. Bought Champagne w/ Dad. Cancelled on Erin and Ryan, but they came over to say hi!
New Year’s Day: Had to cancel on Eric (sorry!) because Stephen was sick (still!). Went to Nana and Papa’s for a while. Opened presents. Came home.
January 2, 2005: Drove back to Gainesville (finally!)
