This is a heads up for all members and those interested in joining.
We are currently moving the community to a new server. It should be ready to go in an hour or two.
All current members will have dibs on their PBs and characters if they read all of the rules provided. This will be true for about 24 hours.
The reason for the move is simple. This community has gotten so dirty in the past few days, I cannot fathom cleaning it up, so we need to just move.
This is not a fresh start, characters are welcome to continue their storylines.

Okay, I am sick of every week having to remind the same people to update their journals. Then they hurry and post some little one liner shit and get to stay only to be on the list again the next week.

Alright.
If anyone else would like to use a different journal name that has nothing to do with their character name in the slightest and is in fact an entirely different name, perhaps you could let me know ahead of time.
I work my ass off to keep this community updated and the add lists updated. And yet, all I get is snark most of the time.
None of you pay me to do this, right? Because maybe if you were signing my paycheck, I might listen to you more.
I am interested in the activity of this community and while I am a completely understanding person, I refuse to let myself be walked all over. There are rules in this community for a reason.
If you don't want to follow them, then leave. It's that simple.
On that note, watch for a post later this evening regarding activity and vacation, as well as journal name changes, and other assorted topics like photography and grass.

Alright, so I am a little annoyed.
I understand that school is wrapping up for most people and that summer vacations are looming.
But I am still getting rather annoyed by the large number of people who are going to be away for extremely long periods of time.
I am not going to be happy to mod a community with 75% dead journals. The problem is that it sucks for people who might be interested in the taken PBs and it sucks because many people will probably not return despite what they say.
So... I am still stewing on this.

I have a few things to address in this post and I recommend that everyone reads it.
1. I apologize for removing an active member of this community for OOC reasons. Jamie will be returning as soon as I add people back.
2. If you feel the need to go on hiatus, please leave the community. Don't hold a PB just because you don't want to let it go even though you no longer wish to write the character. No character is that essential to this community. I don't think it is asking to much to make one post a week.
3. If you have a duplicate PB in this community because of an approved storyline, I need to see some sign of the storyline developing or I will remove at least one of the PBs. I am sick of being walked all over in regards to this.
4. Do not harass other RPers in RPG ADS. I am sick of this shit and it makes Dover look lame. I will remove people who continue to do this.
5. I am sick of warning the same people to update week after week. If this doesn't improve, I will have to do something about it. Some of you have been in this community since the beginning and yet your journal goes for weeks without an entry if I don't warn you.
Thanks for reading. Yes, I am annoyed by some things lately. But I just don't want to see the quality of this community decline because people have too many characters and are slacking off or because people think they are better than the rest of the members.
Oh, and I am aware that the website is down. My domain has been down the past few days.

I decided to help Miss Chloe out with the yearbook since she's so busy as it is and since I have no life. Every year most schools have a cliche voting session for the " best " at their school. And yes, you guessed it. Dover decided to hop on the bandwagon like every year and do the same tradition ( since the king and queen idea was a bust ).
There will be 3 nominations for each category. You can only nominate one per category. A person may be running for 3 categories max, and if there are anymore question, email me ( faking_britney@yahoo.com ). The nomination process will go the same as the prom king and queen did. All nominations should be sent to my email ( again faking_britney@yahoo.com ). I will use the polls on Blurty for this voting, but I just ask for everyone to be fair. I don't want to hear any bitching and moaning. I hate to sound like the bitch, but I wanted to do this for fun not drama. If you nominate one category, that does not mean you have to nominate someone for all of the categories. Okay? Okay.
I will post the categories tonight, but I need some imput from the students of Dover. Give me some creative ideas for categories. I'm sure I've got the basic ones down, but I need some original ideas.
