Well tonite at work sucked. It wasn't as busy as I thought it would be so I didn't nearly make as much money as I have been making delivering during the week. Plus I had to work with this other guy who is lazy as fuck and just about as useful. So I had to pick up the slack cuz he is friends with the manager. It's not all that bad at least I have a job and am making pretty good money.

Not a lot happened today, I called my credit card to get it sorted out. They decided to take on $140 in fees for whatever and when I called they were like oops... So I wonder if they do that thinking enough people will not catch it and pay it.

Tomorrow I am heading off to Vegas for the day with Aimie. She wants to get a new cell phone and I would just like to look around. I doubt I will buy much of anything since I am trying to save money. But maybe I will find something I cannot live without.

Anyways I am tired tonite so I am off to bed early. Nite.

Here's a quote from Ben Folds "Best Imitation of Myself":

I feel like a quote out of context withholding the rest,
So I can be for you what you want to see,
I got the gesture and sounds, got the timing down,
It's uncanny, yeah you think it was me
Did I make me up or make the face till it stuck?
I do the best imitation of myself

Well just got home from seeing 'Freddy vs. Jason' with Aimie. It was actually pretty good because at times it was a bit freaky and still had some laughs. It really freaked Aimie out which was fun. There was a lot of people from work there too which was cool.

I have been tinkering a lot on my computer lately and probably doing more damage than good but a few holes in the case can't really be that bad. I think it has been because I have been watching too much TechTV lately and get these ideas in my head.

So right now I am trying to burn a CD for Marcus and think of anything else in my day that is noteworthy. Aimie and I are thinking of rescheduling our England trip for like March and April. I am not sure how feasible that is with work and moving but it will probably be the best time to do it weather wise. Otherwise we will have to buy new tickets and go in the summer which I doubt will happen. So we will see what happens.

Everyone here seems to be applying at Home Depot and I think it is because they start there at around $10/hour which is very good for this area. I have thought about it too but it is like a 40 minute drive from here and I doubt the money would be worth the time and gas I would spend anyways.

Well I think I am rambling too much about boring things so I guess I will take off for the night. I am reading the Lord of the Rings books and trying to finish them before the Return of the King comes out Dec. 17th. So I think I will hop into one of those books right now.

Oh need a good quote for the day from Howie Day:

Close your eyes
And take your last breath
Rest your head and sigh
The end is the beginning
And every point between
Some are lost, some are lost
And you wont feel a thing
And you wont recall anything at all

G'nite

Well I just lost the nice long post that I was typing. I guess I need to learn more about this journal thing.

So as I think I said in the post that didn't make it. I am now working at Mudshark's again in the Valley delivering. It kinda sucks to be working at a Pizza place with a degree, but really there is NOWHERE here to put it to use. So I am just trying to make as much money as possible and really delivering is pretty good money. I have made over $50 each night so far for 4 hours work each night and an hourly wage of $6.75. I am thinking of going back to Hasting's tho as well. They asked me if I was going to come and work there again a few weeks ago and also offered me a management position there. So I am thinking of working there in the morning and Muds at night. I just want to get as much money as possible while I am here and rent free. I am also looking at new trucks so I really want to save as much money as possible.

Other than work there hasn't been a whole lot going on in my life. My dad started his speech therapy today which is cool but we have to drive to Havasu which is an hour away 3 times a week. But it is worth it if he will be capable to be himself and do the things he loves again.

Yesterday Aimie and I went and saw Pirates of the Caribbean again, if you have not seen this movie go and see it. It is a fun Disney film and if you have ever been on the ride you will appreciate some scenes that they included. I have heard that Freddy vs. Jason was good but I have my suspicions about horror flicks. Aimie and may and go see it tomorrow who knows. Every night we have been having movie night whether it is going to the Theater or watching it in my living room. It's been fun catching up on all the movies we have missed in the past few months.

I talked to Marcus and Eric (very briefly) and they are both doing well. Eric has to take his truck in tomorrow because while I was in Phoenix his truck was broken into and he caught the guy while he was trying to steal his stereo. So there was a bit of damage to his door and inside console and he is getting it fixed tomorrow.

Speaking of break-ins... Also while I was in Phoenix I bought all kinds of new gadgets one being my new cell phone and when I bought it I got a free 20' TV. Well needless to say I did not get to enjoy it because later that day someone broke the window on my mom's new SUV and stole the friggin TV. I was less than pleased and am not too fond of Phoenix at the moment. I hope that if I do move there that it is not much longer that next summer. I will hopefully be moving to California after next summer and working as a teacher through the Teach For America program. We will see what happens a lot can change from day to day.

Well I think I left loads off from the post I had before but I also think I added some in this one. Oh yeah if you happen to read this sent me an e-mail to let me know who all reads this. I doubt there is anyone but hey ya never know. So send me a quickie here.

Oh and a quick Tori Quote from her nw B-side "Mountain":

"she'll be down when the mountain lets her go her way
so the city spits you, spit you out, rejected
kiss the brave men that you thought had you protected"

See Ya

OK. So it has been nearly all summer and I have not updated this journal. A lot has happened which sucked most of my time up.

This summer has been a true rollercoaster. I have made some great friendships and had a lot of fun but it has also been the scariest summer of my life.

I was working and going to classes for most of the summer and I finally finished my classes for my degree YAY!! I am so happy to be finished with school finally. I will probably still take classes or look into another degree wherever I move. Currently I am not moving to Phoenix or out of Bullhead anytime soon. The move has become difficult to make happen because of a few reasons.

First at the beginning of the summer not long after classes had started, my mother went to the doctor's for an exam and found what they thought at the time was signs of cancer. She had to have explorative surgery done and we had to wait weeks before we found anything out and luckily it wasn't cancer but that time was very hard because I was so scared they would find something.

Then a few weeks later just as I was taking my last finals my dad had a TIA which is basically a small stroke and was in the hospital for about 3 days. My parents didn't even tell me until he was out because they were afraid that I would worry and not do well. So when classes were done and I got all my stuffed moved into storage I moved home to Mohave Valley.

I went to Tucson to help move my sister the day after I got back. Then my dad had a test to be done to check his arteries and they found that the carrotdid (in the neck where vampires bite) was very blocked so he was in the hospital until they could operate which was 3 days later. They sent him home the next day which was friday. Then on saturday night he had a very bad stroke and was flown to Phoenix because he was bleeding in his brain. I will never forget that night and seeing my dad in his bed shaking and screaming. It was horrible.

So my mom went on the helicopter with him to Phoenix. Aimie went with me to Phoenix at 7 in the morning cuz I had not even gone to bed when my dad had the stroke and we spent from 2-6 at the hospital with him as they tried to keep him alive.

We got to phoenix and they gave him a 30% survival rate but he pulled through and 2 1/2 weeks later we are now home. I am staying at home until at least december because he has some damage from the stroke and has a few problems with cognition and thinking.

That is where I am right now and looking for a job. It's not bad because I have a choice of 5 different jobs here and they all pay over $7/hour which isn't the best but if I work 2 jobs and save then I can at least get caught up finacially. Plus I have no rent so that is a big chunk of savings.

I will try and update this more regularly now that I am home.

I hope to hear from some of you now that I have re-appeared. I kind of disappeared this summer with all of this going on and the past 3 weeks seem like a dream.

Anyways I will leave you with a new Tori Quote:

indian summer
fresh mown grass
can you mr. bush
light the sage
can you, anyone that's listening
find a way
it is clear, it is clear
we need another way
