First it was the amount of noise generated by the five of them. You would think that there is a madhouse of a circus right next door.
Then there was the excruciating hours spent trying to upload this photo up when they were still next door screaming the house down.
Finally now, it's up and i'm off to bed. Soon. After Las Vegas.

Instead of a sliced mango cake spree yesterday, i mellowed and got myself only 2 slices from Sun Moulin and Rive Gauche respectively and also a slice of Double Sticky Chocolate cake from Sun Moulin.
The latter was my lunch and it was so rich and decadent a chocolate cake and must really beat Lana's (though i've never tried before) and Awfully Chocolate hands down. The thick chocolate fudge together with the dense-y sponge not unlike that of a brownie was enough to sustain me for dinner. In fact, half the cake would have been just right but since the aunts do not take to chocolate stuff so much, i downed an entire cube portion myself, washing down with milk.
Ok lunch's settled and i'm back to my book and snooze now.

Needing to digest my dinner (and to check if the dress i purchased on BO had arrived), i went downstairs to open the letter box.
Noting that i have both sets of keys, for our unit and that of the 2Rs next door, i started opening our letter box first. You can just about imagine my disappointment when i saw that there were only two pieces of junk mail in there, no parcel in sight. With a totally sian mood, i opened the other letter box next and my eyes literally widened when i saw a package that resembles that of my bimbotic purchases in there, amidst many other mail for the 2Rs' parents. I grabbed the thick package out immediately and checked the name printed on it. Voila~ My long awaited dresses are here! And how lucky i am that the dresses are placed in a familiar letter box and not some other stranger's, who may just decide to keep them dresses as his/her own rather than return to me.

After 2 years, the in-ear earphones that i got in Taipei XMD finally went kaput! And it wasn't so much that the earpiece died but more of the wiring inside that came undone.
Well, from this experience, i learnt to never look down on products that are MIC coz they are really not too bad actually. Or am i just delusional coz 2 years is actually the normal lifespan of a pair of earphones anyway?

I wish i didn't miss that episode of Flash Forward when i was in HK coz i seemed to have missed that crucial one where one of the FBI agent committed suicide to show how the future can be changed and not cast in concrete :(
And then after the trailer for the next episode, it was stated that the show will be back on 24 January 2010. Oh come on! Wtf? Why is it not shown over the next few Sundays? Some new or Christmas programmes being shown on CBS or is Channel 5 replacing it with another programme? Seriously, what's gonna get me through the next few Sundays???

My life will revert back to it's normal state soon, as early as this evening in fact.
I wish him well and good luck in a new environment and new search. If resources and other factors permit, who knows i may just plan a trip over. But i know better than to keep my fingers crossed or hopes high on this one, coz nobody knows what may happen down the road.
As i often say over the suggestion, we'll see.
