and here comes that depressed feeling you get after something really great ends...
wow what an awesome weekend. probably one of, if not the most fun weekend in my life. so we left on saturday afternoon, i was still sick. things had tapered off to just my nose and throat, but i was still moderately ill. after we arrived in baltimore, checked into the hotel and everything, and visited our old director mike semancik, the minivan headed out to look for tittie bars. we searched for like an hour, had some trashy leads, but ultimately found out that most of them were 21 and over. which is fucking gay. anyway we just chilled at the hotel the rest of the night.
sunday consisted of singing for a church service. they were friendly enough. mark graciously sang my solo because of my disability. then headed over to the mall for some more singing, where erin was meeting us. it was pretty crazy, we just stood there and sang, a few people got into us, but we were pretty much just singing for ourselves. we continued the excitement by caroling around the mall. and then to hooters. wasnt as great an experience as i had hoped, but we did end up singing for the stupid, hot girls. now.... sunday night was the highlight of the trip. being an all male group, we obviously had plans. over 2 hours that night consisted of making phone calls. too bad our plans failed. next time we'll be prepared.
monday... slept in. went to semancik's school and sang for his choirs. i couldnt sing at all. oh well, its all good. we got home at about 7:30 or earlier tonight.
great weekend. i'll miss it, but i'm looking forward to more mens ensemble tours in the future. i love all those guys (in a totally hetero way).
