yeah. bright eyes was ok. i'm definitely not into his new folk stuff. it wasnt really a bright eyes show, mostly connor and these 2 other dudes doing all these new folk songs. eh. oh well. saw annie there, which was nice. also got to buy some cds i wanted for cheap.
so i'm waiting for men's ensemble to start at 6 tonight. i can't really sing on mondays because its the day after practice and my vocal cords are shot. they need to toughen up. wusses.
here are the dates for the shows we're definitely on: march 20th, march 27th, april 17 (or the following weekend, not confirmed yet). details will be posted at a later date. everyone must come. download "my beliefs" by no innocent victim and learn the words.
i cannot wait until spring break. i seriously think about it every day.

so i didnt go see 25 ta life tonight. phil backed out on us at the last minute. bastard. i didnt feel like driving down there in the snow, but god knows rick would've been worth it. oh well. i'm sure he'll be around again soon.

we have an appointment at diecaster's next thursday at 7 pm. the dude up there is really cool and nice. i cant wait to check it out. this is probably the place we're going to record at.
hung out with fidanza and kenny tonight... bitch macking, unsuccessful.
tonight was also a night for grooming. because body hair sucks. you needed to know that.
and what is it with all the anti-redhead things going around? why did this only start like in the past year? i mean i've heard some stuff, but not to the amount it has been this year. too bad for the haters, i am damn proud of my redheadedness. red hair = passion. booyah!

wow. quite a practice. tons of energy, and we got half of a new song hammered. i love it. good practices make my week. tomorrow kenny, fidanza and i are going up to erie to check out diecaster studios... one of the possible places we will record. there is also dan donch studios in albion, pa which is quite cheaper. but lesser quality. hm. we need to get on an erie show either the first weekend in april or the last weekend in march.
me and mr. myers, my trombone professor, had a heart-to-heart today in my lesson. it was quite awesome.
going to see 25 ta life in pittsburgh on saturday. hell yes. positive hardcore, go. also going to see bright eyes on sunday. too bad for you its sold out. quite a weekend ahead.

hung out with keith today in erie. good freaking times. i missed that kid. he is definitely turning his life around, and hopefully he keeps it up. still drinking and smoking, but that is nothing compared to what he's done before. hope to hang out with him more often now that i know he's alive. he may even come to florida with us.
on a side note, i hate slippery rock right now. and i hate public speaking even more. i also hate tomatoes. i'm a very hateful person lately.
isnt it weird how no one has gotten the same serial killer as anyone else yet? (see my lj friends.)
so my final hour is on phil's metalcore/hardcore festival on april 17th. mark that date kids. be there. we're also on a meadville show march 19th i believe. be there too. we're hoping to have an erie show somewhere in between, and also record our demo. and buttons! yay! i love buttons. however, i hate the fact that ashley hasn't given me my smashing pumpkins cd back. how long has it been?

 If i was a serial killer i would be David Berkowitz .
Originally believed to be a paranoid schizophrenic, David Berkowitz (the Son of Sam), claimed to be plagued by demons that came in the form of dogs, when the dogs would howl, that was their signal for him to kill. He said that the dogs would call out to him for blood and death, and their cry's would only stop by killing and assaulting over 6 New York women.
In a later interview Berkowitz revealed that the demon story was a conscious fabrication that he had made up to force the police into believing he was insane if he was caught. He also confessed that he would become sexually aroused when stalking his victims and would sometimes come back to the crime scenes and masturbate while envisioning his prior killings.

had a nice time with beth last night. drove all the way to erie to go to eat n park. she's a cool cat.
i'm really lazy and i hate doing homework. i always put it off until the last minute. today i have to write a speech, practice piano for the test tomorrow, and practice tbone. i'll probably put it all off until about 10 tonight. thats the way i like to do things.
oh, my speech is entitled "how to become a rock star" and it is going to elaborate on how to start a band, record a demo, and get signed to a record label. since i know so much about that stuff (84% sarcasm). i haven't really decided what my attention getter is going to be. any ideas?
we have tuesday off of school, thats freaking great. i've been talking to my old friend keith (quief) lately, apparently he cleaned his act up or something... so i'll be hanging out with him monday night probably. maybe tuesday, i dont know. he was quite the substance abuser back in the day, but still really fun to hang out with during his earlier drug-user days. then he got weird and burnt out, and started dealing drugs maybe? i don't really know. he's still a cool guy in my book, and i can't wait to hang out with him again. maybe he's turned his life around.
i cannot wait until spring break....florida....far, far away from slippery rock.

went to an emo show last night, it was fun. the first band was really young, but pretty good... they reminded me of elliott sort of. the rest of the bands ranged from the worst i've ever heard all the way up to decent. theres just something about the hangout... its definitely my favorite venue. probably because theres actually places to sit in between bands, and plenty of room to move around. plus they sell jones soda for a dollar. what could be better?
who knows what i'll be doing tonight, i have some possibilities lined up. we'll see what happens.

the apartment is confirmed. we signed the shit and everything. should be fun, if we don't kill each other halfway through the semester. i cannot wait to move out.
so yesterday i heard we might be getting dsl at home, which would be great... living with dialup just isnt cutting it. but i've done it for so long. anyway my mom talked to some dude today and he thinks they cant do it out here, despite what the lady on the phone said. he works for the phone company or something. well fuck him, he's stupid. i need dsl. now.
currently writing a paper for music history where i invent a new musical culture. mine is a tribe of violent straight edgers that live out in the forest and declare war on other tribes and shit because they look at them funny. they also play a lot of electric guitar and do a lot of campfire mosh. its fun to write. i also have to write some variations on a melody tonight for music theory. and study for a music history test tomorrow.
