about~ My first assignment for Professional and Creative Communication this year at uni was to do a participant-observation piece about Writers' Week, which was on two weeks ago. Basically, a short creative writing piece giving the atmosphere of the event, so that's what this is.

about~ you won't be mine by matchbox 20 is prince nolryn's song, and it perfectly sums up his sentiments regarding nimay's rejection of his proposal, so~ i had to name it that. actually wrote it on saturday, but the ending and a good portion of the middle was just... not happening, so i fixed it. i hope. still seems a bit jumpy, but whatever.

about~ sequal to see the sun, which was about how king yan was brought back to 'life' by his daughters. in this one, we get to see what yan first did when he reawoke, so to speak. you have no idea how hard it was for me not to call this return of the king XD;;

about~ English Imaginative Writing piece. I rea~lly wanted to do something with the twins or at least the bastid or Bastet, but the thing is they all require background knowledge and/or one helluva lot more than 1000 words to tell their story. So here's some random chick who's ended up being part of the Raykin legend. about~ This was originally going to be pretty much the first chapter of Silent Harmony, but I've since decided that thw whole story needs revision, so this is just going to be a stand-alone thing now. about~ Yus, 'nother English thing. This was originally going to be our supervised recount writing practice, for which we could use the computer, but naturally, the power would choose that time to cut out, so we had to do them at home instead. This is mine, based on the topic "I loved going there," before editing, because you see, kawa~ doesn't have a word limit, but SSABSA has one of 1000 words with a 100 word lee-way. This is currently 1438 long. Gawd how I hate word limits >< Oh, one thing to begin with, a this is a ute, and the Southern Expressway is a freeway/highway/whatever you want to call it going between Adelaide and the southern suburbs. Piccies not taken by me, but they could've been, cos I've seen it all X)

about~ Was trying to get to sleep last night and couldn't because of a light coming in my room through the curtains. See, we've got this light on the balcony that gets left on overnight sometimes and it seriously pisses the hell out of me, so much so that I decided to get out of my nice~ warm~ electric blanket-warmed bed to turn it off. Only it wasn't on. Looked out my window and discovered it was the moon, so that's where this comes from.

about~ Whee~ lookit the time =D I've got writer's block on all three of my novel-stories, so I figured I'd give myself a bit of a challenge to try and get rid of it. Didn't work, but was fun to do anyway ^^ Just picked a topic I felt like writing about (solitude), did a search on gettyimages.com for it and came up with this picci. about~ Was originally going to be a replacement for Searching, cos it was basically not original enough. Can't argue with that X) So yah, was going to put this in for Narrative Text Production, then learnt it had to be realistic, at which point I decided to scrap the whole idea of writing something and just printed off some original bits of writing from kawa~ to show her, to which she said "=DD This is fantastic! Why didn't you show me this stuff before? =DD" Seriously, her words *^^* A~nyhoozle, decided to finish this one since I only had a paragraph or two to go, and put it on kawa~. Lyrics are from A Stroke of Luck by Garbage. Enjoy ^^
