Work was mostly frustrating tonight. It's one of those days when I would not mind it being busy if it were not one of those days when we have few bookings but many walk ins who all come in at the same time.
And I haven't been able to ask Mike about my extra shift, because he was out tonight. And I get paid tomorrow. Meaning I shall have to put it on next week. Bah. Still, it's my fault really, I should have done it earlier. I am a silly Phylly.
I'm ever so tired, a lot of work this week has left me so lethargic. Some old subjects threw up by homework have left me feeling a little nostalgic too. It's no bad thing but my gosh, it leaves me sometimes in thought. But the thing is to make something good and great out of it is nice. I want to go to school and read it and breathe it out like a song..and then leave it there. And maybe talk to French girl. Perhaps. We'll see..if she talks to me and I feel outward I shall take up the mantle. I definately like her a lot. Cutest eyes i've seen since....well...a long time. Rowr.
And that's not a thing to be sniffed at.
We all had a drink or two. Bolb appears back in the fold and a good thing too because it's been too long. New Inn was quite lacking in numbers but high on merriment.
Tomorrow, more writing, money attaining, and maybe a trip to the New Inn for the football.

I have written a fairly good piece. Having to insert several words has interrupted any flow I want to induce into the piece, so I don't think it will win any prizes. And it'll be entered for one, so it literally won't.
Some bits are really nice, but it's hard to write it without it being too literal, and some things have been told before with much more of a feeling pertinent to the time. I can no longer muster that feeling, but I shall try to fictionalise it to make it look more...real.
Have I really stopped feeling? Or do I still have those feelings but need to find new ways to feel them?
I suspect the latter. I am relieve that i've nearly done this, and got my words into it. I don't care much how good it is recieved now. It's nicely written, but the annoyance of having to put silly words into a love story shows. I can't get "quid pro quo" into it without feeling like i'm trying to get a cat into a dog's school.
Sunday was quiet apart from this. I got some money and chatted to my friends. And now, i'm going for a drink. I think I deserve it. Fuck, i'm SO happy to have something almost complete written, you've no idea. Maybe i'll talk some more to Miss D.
