South East trains fucked up again, folks. The connecting trains missed each other by twenty seconds. And that meant another wait. I am giving up parts of my LIFE to wait around train platforms.
Great. College was fine, bit of speech study...looking at various paralinguistic features. Believe me, it makes more sense when you're reading about it.
Now, we had a pointless jaunt around several rooms in the college with a security guard in tow to find a working computer with a dvd rom that also had sound capabilities...
We found none. In a college building with about a hundered computers. At quarter to nine, this seems a rather protracted course. My mind was saying "Let's leave it, folks! Till next week, eh? Phylly wants to get drunk now!", but I mererly busied myself spinning around on a swivel chair in this projector room we ended up in and chortlingly saying "Swivel chairs are great! Can I have one?"
In a silly mood, yes. After this we took our usual ride home with Carole (Paul and I), and I ended up drinking Guiness and watching the folks in the Bell, in their paper Christmas hats, having their "dos"
What fun.

And so another adventure begins, this one comprising a day of *cough* washing up and singing. The work will be hard and wretched, the singing will be fun, just as long as I can find my voice. It's here somewhere, under my ambition and near my writing talent.
So not much from me today here, then.

I shall not be back early, folks. Say a prayer for my voice, should it become overstrained by Nirvana covers. Dear god, what am I letting myself in for?
Toodles.

Okay, some talk, hopefully a new start. Now then...i'm out of here...time to enjoy the one evening that gives me the allowance to get roundly cunted without having to get up the next morning. I will read "Wuthering Heights" a little more, as this book needs to be read three times to be studied properly.
Now why did they not tell me that before I decided I was too lazy to bother?
Bye for now.
