It may have been that you lovely people have wondered what Wynnie has been up to for the past little while. Is she still around? Does she care? Does she prefer Led Zeppelin or Black Sabbath? Does she, in fact, ever listen to the Beatles, and if so, who's her favorite? Will she ever come back? What has been occupying her time so much, the bitch?
Well, to answer such burning questions, here goes.
-Yep, still around and kickin. And drinkin.
-Of course I still care!
-A verra hard decision, but Led Zeppelin is still the best.
-I occasionally listen to the Beatles and my favorite solo one is George Harrison.
-I do plan on being here more often and doing more stuff.
-Ok, here's the big one. On top of college and the usual maintenence of the household I attended a "pre-employment skills enhancement class" for AT&T, the company I've been trying to get hired at. After that, I had a grueling background check in which I went through hell trying to prove I worked for a company which no longer exists because they went bankrupt five years ago. Then there's exams, my sister visiting me (I hadn't seen my family in forever) and that elusive art project for my design class, and trying to squeeze in online time, tanning bed time and drinking time. Whew. So anyways, I got The Call Tuesday. I'm hired! I start at AT&T Wireless next Monday, where I'll be in classroom training for 5 weeks. I'll be a Customer Support person at a call center listening to people bitch about their cell phones. However, it's good money! Wooo!
