Hahahha, bet yer wondering what that's about! Quite a handy little saying courtesy of my friend Rich. You can use it when you wanna cuss but can't.
Yesterday we had this big to-do art reception at the community center during my Drawing class. I was supposed to bring something to drink, and I had forgotten until I was on the way to school lol. I stopped and got some pop and ginger ale (I can't drink dark soda, hurts me kidneys) before Math class heh. The reception was for this girl from Cedar Bluff who's now a big artist in Philadelphia, and some of her strange book art. She does this weird stuff with books, like sews pages to large pieces of mica (a rare mineral which won't burn) then burns the pages down to the mica for a cool effect. She also binds her own books by had using the old Ethiopian technique, which allows you to open the book from any page and have it lay flat. There was food and live music and everything, really groovy! We also had a meeting about taking an art trip to Europe, and what we can do to raise money. The packages include a tour of the French countryside and a look at the Cro Magnon cave paintings , or a trip to Rome and other parts of Italy, or a an excursion in England with a stop in Paris, France. We'll have to raise a crapload of money, though. My new friend from art class, Beverly, wants to go but her mom is super strict (she's only 17, too) and won't let her do anything hardly. Wait till she gets a load of who she hangs out with (namely, moi lmao).
Still trying to get the Film Club together with this lady from my Math 151 class since she informed me that because of lack of funding they cancelled the spring Horror Movie class. The teacher had just spent over 200 dollars getting new dvd's to replace her old ratty videos, and she was miffed. The teacher wants to form a special club for it now, so we can do a lot of the same things just as if we had the class, AND go to Universal Orlando in Florida for a club trip. So we'll need to raise the money for that, too. Whew! I'll probably have to just pick one and go with it, hahaha. We also are trying to get a room we can use for Halloween so we can watch movies, Crystal said the instructor mentioned Texas Chainsaw Massacre, which we would then discuss afterwards. Joey is jealous, mwahahaha, he sooo loves horror movies.
Tonight I'm supposed to meet Joey at Sprint (where he works) and go hang out with one of his friends he works with. Probably go to a bar or sing karaoke, then stay all night. Man, the things I do, I don't even know half the people Joey works with, lol. A couple weeks ago I was congratulating and schmoozing with some chick I didn't know at her wedding. Oh well, meeting new people is good for me hahaha! Well, gonna go work on my Religion homework.
