-THE STORY, continued- During the day whilst we were walking around, there was a dude at this selling shit made out of marijuana, caps, suckers, backpacks, candy etc. He hand me and Joey this card talking about the yummy lollipops and the slogan was, "Every lick is like a hit!". And Joey licks the card...I was so embarrassed. I mean, it's bad enough that he's walking around in a suede cowboy hat like a big dork, but he licks this card. The hemp guy goes "Whoa dude, don't lick that, just look at it. Man, that coulda had some acid or some shit on it, bwa hahaha!"
You're Billy Corgan! You diva, you. Having lots of self-esteem is great, but watch out or your arrogant attitude might cause the band to break up.

AT&T called me yesterday, I have an interview with them next Thursday! I'm excited, I haven't had a job in almost two years. I won't be a bum anymore if I get it! Then we can buy our own house. Insurance, 401K, paid vacations, all the stuff I need, plus it's only 10 minutes away. And my last job was at Verizon, hahaha! Keep your fingers crossed.

Aye Mate your Jack Sparrow, savy? You are fun to be with and your word can always be trusted even though it may not seem like it sometimes. You Don't need romance because all you want is a ship and crew to sail, steal, and plunder!

-AUDIOSLAVE- The best set of the day, most definately. They played after Incubus, and it was an hour of pure, good rock and roll with Chris Cornell looking fiiiiine in his boot-cut jeans and belt buckle, lol. The drummer played with his back facing the audience which I thought was weird, and there were mirrors all around him. Every member played their heart out, and the whole venue went berserk during every song, and I shouted myself hoarse. Tom Morello was in fine form with his signature "Soul Power" written on his guitar, lol. Audioslave played most of the songs off their self-titled album, and during the middle Chris played "I am the Highway" on acoustic guitar, followed by a cover of Elvis Costello's "Peace, Love, and Understanding." It was beautiful, just the guitar and Chris Cornell's voice and I thoroughly enjoyed it. They closed their set with "Cochise" and it totally kicked my ass! We started up a chant "We want more! We want more!", but alas the packed schedule didn't allow it. I give them 10 out of 10, hell I'll give them 12 out of 10. Awesome, awesome band live!
-JANE'S ADDICTION-We didn't stay for the whole set, we left early to avoid the horrendous traffic sure to follow. Their stage setup was fresh, though, with lots of shiny metallic objects for Perry to climb on (and fall off of). He started to leap onto a platform in front of the drums but it gave out, causing the flamboyant patriarch of Lollapalooza to fall forward and strike his leg. He never let on though, caught himself and continued singing. He never missed a beat, I have to give him credit for that. They played the new single of theirs, "Been Caught Stealing" and "Down the Mountain" and did a very good job. I was never a Jane's fan, but they seemed to rock out that night. Dave Navarro was resplendent, shirtless and wearing tight leather pants, lol. Overall, 7 out of 10.
