    Time Event
    4:10p
This is from a few days ago...but when I tried to post it on here, the site was down...
I'm totally rocking the Elton John Greatest Hits right now, sooooo good.

Last night was an adventure and a half.

I had dinner with the grandparents, and Pops and I got into a bit of an argument about school. He kept questioning me, and questioning me, AND questioning me about classes, and why I'm not a junior yet, and why I hate school, blah blah blah... Finally, I was like, "Grandpa, seriously, I don't want to talk about this anymore. I hate school, and it makes me upset to think about it any more than I have to. U of M is full of a bunch of incompetent idiots. The campus sucks, the students suck, and the professors are totally inadequate. I hate my Math class and I'm hoping to just pass it with a C and get it over with. As far as the classes I need to take, I don't know, I have to take a million more classes before I graduate..." Then he got all on my case about how I am ungrateful and should be happy that I am in college and don't have a million dollars worth of student loans. AAAHHH! Just because I hate U of M, it doesn't mean that I am not grateful for all the help my grandparents have given me.

My little bro came over after dinner and we all hung out. I love that kid, he's absolutely hilarious. I couldn't live without him, he's the most amazing person ever. I told him that we need to convince my dad to let me take him out on the town so we can be party animals. He just starts laughing and goes, "Party animals? I am no animal, I am a boy!" Can you just imagine the adventures that we'd have? Good God. Benny, watch out, because Ann Arbor is the first place I'm taking him. =] We went out to my car and I put the convertible top down for him. We just sat in the driveway, getting rained on, and we just sat there in silence, smiling. It was a profound moment.

After the Adam/Lauren mayhem, I took off for the mall. I don't know why, I think the girl in me just went into overdrive and said, "Go to the mall. Now." I just walked around for a little bit before I left to meet Heather and Abby at The Majestic Cafe. From there, we hopped into Heather's car and went to the D Pollen indie rock fest thing. It was this local rock band festival in this weird warehouse sort of place in the ghetto. Hot! I was bummed that I missed Dave's band, The Singles. We had missed them by a few minutes. I ran into Benny's friend Karly, who worked at Borders with him. It was cool to see her again, she's a rad girl. The Waxwings weren't too bad, but the other band playing was terrible. I ran into Dave and talked to him for a second before I got stalked by creepy Frank. *shudders*

As I was standing around with the girls, this SUPER drunk frat boy weasels out of the woodwork and starts molesting me. At first, it was kind of funny to sit there making fun of him...until he grabbed my ass. Then I was like, "Whoa, I've got stuff to do...over there..." So I took off into the other room to escape Frat Boy, and he was following me. Out of the corner of my eye, I see Eugene, so I grabbed him and told him to protect me from Frat Boy. Eugene is amazing, but DRUNK Eugene is my favorite. Oh man, I thought I was going to die laughing. He puts his arm around me and we're walking outside together to make sure that his friend got in her car alright. So we get over to the parking lot and she stops and talks to us for a second. As we're walking back into the show, Eugene is pointing out hazards for me. He's like, "Look out for that...plastic bag...oohh...a puddle!" So then he stops and goes, "WHOA! *points to a shrub* Watch out for that pine cone!" I almost peed my pants. I go, " Pine cone? You mean, gigantic shrub?" So we start walking again, and he goes, "Wow! Look! A MANHOLE!" Which prompts me to tell him about The Manhole, my favorite place (and gay bar) in all of Chicago, and once I turn 21 I am going there, just for the novelty of it. I go, "Yeah, Eugene, you're going with me to The Manhole, and you're wearing leather chaps!" We were both laughing so hard. Drunk Eugene, you are the man! As we went back in, Heather and Abby were ready to leave, so we say our goodbyes to Eugene. He hugs Heather and Abby, and then I go, "Bye e-boy!" He goes, "What?! You're leaving too? You can't leave..." Then he gave me a big hug and a kiss on the cheek. Awww.

Heather dropped me off at my car and I headed over to Josh's house to hang out with him. We went and got slurpees and drove around for a little bit. Then we went back to his house and watched cartoons and talked. It was great to get to know him better, he's seriously one of the coolest guys I've met in a long time. He's very smart and he's really into religion and Christianity. I really respect him for being so passionate about religion, but it's not something that I can't really relate to just yet. I'm still trying to sort the whole religion thing out. He gave me a Police pin and the VHS of Dashboard Unplugged. He said he had the video for a while but had no use for it, so he gave it to me. That was really cool of him. I really don't have any expectations for anything between he and I...whatever happens, happens. We really see eye to eye on a lot of things, which is really important to me. We also have similar tastes in music (but he's more of a hardcore boy). Anyway, yeah. I like Josh...and I'm pretty interested to see what happens. I'm very "go with the flow" about it all.

Today I went over Gabby's for Wesley's graduation party. I figured I would save her from her family for a little bit. I had a good time seeing her and talking for a while.

Now I'm getting ready for D Pollen indie fest part 2. I think I'm going to leave around 9, hang out there for a bit and see The Witches play, and then head over to Dave's dance party. I think Mere is coming with me, if not, I'm going solo and meeting up with Heather and Abby again. Rock and roll.
