| 12:43a | The Fellowship of the Wheels My bladder's almost full when I finally found the way to ECP via Parkway Parade. But still I trudged on to meet up with some battery friends. Finally, we settled down at BBQ pit 24 (which miraculously remained unoccupied until we left at 8+pm, and that in itself is almost unbelievable since it's one of the nearest pits to Mac) and I hurried off to relieve myself. Lo and Behold! I met Ms Wong (yes, accidentally, again!) and YJ resting at a bench, all ready to move off for their late lunch. But the fellowship of the wheels must not be broken..... and they came to try my carrot cake! *big wide grin* So nice to catch up with Ms Wong, albeit a short while, esp since our hot date was cancelled! Anyhow, fellowship of the wheels continued as the afternoon saw the birth of many new in-line skaters. (BTW, my new $99 blades were rated the BEST amongst the blades around... so fast that I could hardly stop!!!!!!) More fellowships were formed via the waddling on the roads and we can't wait for the next episode to begin... Current Mood:  sleepy |
| 10:16p | Fellowship of the Wheels (II) And so it continued into Sunday, where it was the 16th Rotaract Comm outing....at the ECP (oh yeah, very original of me to place 2 outings back to back - at the same venue). Today was a break-through, coz I tried to T-stop trick! AHAHHAH! Despite many warnings that T-stop will wear out the wheels blah blah blah, I really felt a desperate need to brake in 1 second instead of the usual 10s I take with the brake on my right foot. So I found a chiobu shifu, who couldn't really teach. Important take-out of the lesson 201, my left foot is better to be the stopper foot. Anyhow, thank God for the wonderful weather once more... He really is a God who never fails! =) Current Mood:  exhausted |
