    Time Event
    12:54a
A fresh message, a fresh outlook
Yenew was down and out. Tired, stretched. Before I snapped, I cooled it off. I'm so glad for that cooling time, for it gave me a chance to connect with myself again!

And hey, tonight's message was such a fresh concept after so long - the admonishing, the push for more time, more money, more of everything from each and everyone of us.

It's about dealing with past hurts. I love this kinda topics. For it's so relevant, so close to heart, and so ministering. Everyone can do a dose of this anytime, no matter how many times we have been through this.

Anyhow, I've made a new covenant - to use what He has given me to be a blessing to the people around. For if I hold back, I'm shortchanging the rest. Worst still, it just shows that I am unwilling to give back a tiny fraction of what He has unconditionally given me.

When we say we're too busy to serve God, to love God, we have forgotten that He saved us, and gave us our jobs/studies/family/friends.

If we can trust Him with eternity, we can trust Him with the things that He has placed in our lives even more.

    Glory be to God!

Crowds on weekends must be avoided
No matter in church, or out in the CBD, streets/malls/restaurants/toilets are always flooded with people on a hot sunny Saturday.

It's amazing by the way people have to wait to get up the escalator linking citylink and suntec city.

Well after, the most happening fair is happening in suntec convention hall. The Wedding Show! Ok, I'm kidding. The most exciting place is the Cosmex Fair on level 3 and 4!

Glenn, Rod and the Flying Dutchman were there to do live commentary, though Min and I couldn't find them even though we squeezed through the multitudes of people. The gadgets are just so tempting. I almost picked up another MP3 player and a laser printer. Well, quite luckily, I couldn't find an MP3 player that suited my specs - 256MB, internal battery, file transfer via USB port, and hopefully, within $200.

Well the Xerox laser printer sounds like a steal at $219, but before I make my usual impulsive buy, I convinced myself that I can get all my printing needs met in office. And Min similarly convinced herself that she can use ah-hua's printer instead of splurging on one.

So that way, we spent a constructive afternoon walking around, trying to squeeze from one end of the hall to the other, digesting our dim sum on the way.

Oh I forgot to mention I met the 2nd insurance agent to let her do her pitch. Hmm.... Somehow, it feels so different with the 2 agents.

And I signed on the dotted line (ok that's a wrong cliche, coz the line was a straight black line) just before we left BK. I bought my first plan - Income Shield! HAHA. Why? Coz it's deductible from CPF and I don't get to see the money anyway. So well, there goes.... So effectively it means I can claim more $ if I stay in the hospital. And I opted for B2 wards, coz I think A wards are too lonely! *smart yenew*

Can you imagine how sad life will be if I can't talk to any other people? Well, there're the pretty nurses anyway. Hmmmm.....
