When clan dinners can actually be fun
Again, this depends on the attitude you bring to the occassion.

For a second year running, I kinda enjoyed the annual clan dinner sitting amongst other tertiary youths. This year, I sat beside a quite chio bu who's in Mediacorp doing news producing (script writing for channel 8, and yaoquan's her colleague), and this guy from some ntu engrg who has also graduated, but still haven't found a job (i have 1001 reasons why he hasn't found a job, but i shan't be mean and broadcast it). Fortunately for me, the quite chio bu (QCB) is quite a fun conversationist (de4 ming2 de4!!!) and beside her are 2 SAF scholars - 1 from Cambridge and the other from Imperial College.

Other than the constant noise from the speakers (as in woofers) because of the ongoing KTV, our conversations were actually quite decent. The Imperial College guy is one great jazz lover, and frequents this pub in London where big jazz singers perform there regularly (Michael Booblay's the only name I recognized tho).

So ya... we're even planning on going to Harry's @ Esplanade some night before they fly back to London! Dunno if it'll materialise though.

All in all, great time spent!

And hey hey.. I ate the $1.39 topless 5 from Swensons! I probably ate 1 and a half bowls of that.... YUCKS. I feel so fat. Anyhow, it's so cheap that I better eat more now. HAHA. Thanks to my year 1 rotaract kakis, i have new guards... blading time!!!!

Next Sunday (22nd Aug) morning blading, anyone? ~~Say, 10am?~~ How about 3pm in ECP? Post note: VK is welcomed to join me, but I have no idea who is turning up yet. But you can be my shifu, and i'll try to be humble and learn. MUAHHAHAHA....

Also, thanks dearest bloggies for the wonderful presents! The book is so funny and great! Haha... so ironical that you all who aren't Christians actually went into a bookstore to buy me such christiany presents.. and my cg gave me a funky shirt! HAHAHHAA~!!!

Time to concuss on the bed once more.... Yaaaaaaaaaaaay it's only Sunday tomorrow!!!!!!
