What my client failed to see
Singapore does has its pool of creative talent and if they're able to come through, they're really THERE!

I'm so awed once more by Selena, Pam and Emma in Dim Sum Dollies. I watched the first installation a year ago, and now, they have upgraded from Jubilee Hall to Esplanade, with more than 20,000 tickets to sell! WOW! And it was almost a total sell-out.

I simply love local theatre (erm, not really those school productions) with wit, insight and satire. Being able to laugh at all things Singaporean and being Singaporean, helps us to grow as a nation in not only the creative arts, but more importantly, in maturity. So go watch it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In other news, I've decided to have a pseudo birthday on National Day instead of remembering that my birthday is a full work day, probably an OT day as well. So, wish me a happy pseudo bdae instead k! =)

I love the presents so far... the MP3 player, the super sey3 shirt from W02, and most of all, the gift that $ can't buy. Thanks for reminding me of my smiles, my flamboyant hair and my dreams. *hugs*

With that, Happy National Day to all!!!!!!!!!!!

    Shopping
Yeah that's what I did! And in a non-malish way to, if going by Yann's definition.

Was supposed to do family photo-shoot this evening, but you know, if there're 7 adults and 2 kids to coordinate, Murphy's Law always come true. This time, my little nephew was having some problems with his manhood, so he spent most of the day in KK Hospital.

That left me a sudden late afternoon and evening to fill. So in my slumber, I called my jie and asked if she wanna go shopping. Of course she's willing to accompany me. *sniggers* Anyhow, couldn't find a nice bag that I asked my sisters to buy for my bdae gift, but I went round shopping for more casual clothes. I realised my clothes are either too formal, or too funky casual. So I bought 2 in-betweens. My financial planner will kill me.

Before I forget to pen this here, Horrorfreeze and I played a most exciting game on Friday night, on our way to Bluenote. We were finding metaphors for each of the CG friends. And I must say, I'm proud of us for putting down such apt metaphors!

Check out the more exciting objects here:
    - a bowl of hot soup: warm, soothing, yummy (ok, I fail to do justice to her explanation)
    - durian: pungent, yet something valuable within the spikes
    - walking stick: strong and steady to lean on
    - handrail: strong and steady, but unfortunately not moving ahead with the walker
    - sparkler: bright (but I hope it's not that short-lived. *grinz*)
    - a big block of candle (similar to my baptism gift): enduring glow, albeit a little dim, but you know the light's always burning
    - bolster, blanket (2 different persons here): my comfort and solace
    - hot air balloon: need to work at it to keep it flying, and a little hard to control the direction

    Such a fun game right!

Now if you were to describe any bloggie/friend/colleague, what would those objects be?
