A recently read piece of writing
If you're feeling tired from the journey of work, check THIS out. Look for the entry called WORK WORK WORK. Nicely put.

In other news, I was reading Twenty Something while I was on duty in the bookstore today. Browsing through the book quickly amidst distractions (well, you know, like dinner, customers, and blah), I connected with the author quickly. It's really about the quarter-life crisis, a stage of life which all of us are in right now. Some are having it worse, as Ash would tell you.

But it's really about stepping out from the comfort of school into this harsh world, where you're really left to fend for yourself, and life's no longer about zhao-ing lectures and chilling out in JP. Although set in the American context (like which book isn't?), there's still pretty much that we can identify with.

So work work work? It's part of life, but never let it make you lose sight of your purpose in life.

If what you're doing isn't helping you walk out that destiny, go look for the one that's going to complete your life. :-)

Which is why, up to now, I'm still searching.

    Convo's round the corner!
Big congrats to all fellow graduands!

NTU Comm Studies is having the convo on 15th july 3pm in Nanyang audi. Ahhh.. but I have no idea what time to report.

In any case, I haven't found the shirt to go with the gowns, nor fitted the gown again to see if I need to pin/button/whatever the sash to the gown. And I have a qn. If I can't find a white shirt, can i just wear a stripped shirt that is white in base?

And hey, shall we all meet earlier to take picts? this is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo exciting!

    CS Convo 2004 - 15th July
This is a public service announcement. We (the famed bloggies) shall have a photo-cum-catch-up session after Convo ok? So whatever family activities, please arrange it before the Convo begins! can can can? Please treat this space as your homely discussion board, and yours truly shall be your humble moderator. LOL.

Anyhow, my family plans are to bring dad and sis to Heritage Centre to walk ard the museum, and then they'll park themselves at canteen B, while i report at NA (if we need to report early, say, 2pm?) and then we'll do the ceremonial stuff, take picts with the graduating class of 2004, profs, tutors, the benches, the lib, and blah....

So the question is... what next?

    Current Mood: ecstatic
