Live Reportage from Thailand (Final Edition)
Day 5: Start of jungle trekking!
- went to Ruanmit, the elephant camp with many LARGE snakes for photo taking
- Ruanmit is actually the congruence of several tribes gathered to sell their handicrafts and has a CHURCH!
- Passed by Karen, and stayed overnight at Lahu tribe
- PHENOMENAL view
- played dominoes with tribe gals
- tried local whiskey
- 1st latrine experience in the tribe

Day 6: Siong trekking day
- after playing some mind games (at which i turned table and asked some of MY games... haha), set off for long trek to Thai village
- trekked to a 50m waterfall with 3 tiers
- went to Akha village.... nice and clean looking... with a much more established church than the 1st one. and since it's sunday, the church teacher was still playing guitar in the church when we were there. it feels like home!
- overnight at Lahu camp: tummy ache for the 1st time (curbed with prayers and 1 dormotil), thunderstorm, and actual staying with the family

Day 7: Hot Spring and back to Chiang Rai!
- looking so much forward to going back to our guest house (Lek House)
- Soaked my scarred shins in the hotspring
- concussed in the room for most of the afternoon
- rushed Min to clinic for her rashes

Day 8: Lone travelling day
- Went to hill top temple
- Went to another temple, met an English lady (30 yr old) and continued the rest of the early afternoon with her
- Tried going to museum, but closed when we got there
- Tried Beer Chang (6.5% alc) and concussed

Day 9: TODAY!
- Left Chiang Rai after discovering Lek House's Lucy is Christian! So fun!
- Back and dusty Chiang Mai, wanted to go museums, but today is some buddhist day, so public holiday. decided not to risk
- checked into a great hotel by the night bazaar
- time for food!

I think I got the days wrong, for today is supposed to be day 10. lol....

I'm DARKER!!!!!! but of course not YOUR kinda dark lar. but dark by my standards k. thanks to all for your kind reminders not to over eat... but i have been over eating.. even in the jungles... the food's simply ARROY (read: delicious).

i miss u all very much also! talk to you all very soon!
