Friday

I woke up early on Friday to go to Atlantic City... yes, again. The reason this time was completely different. My boss and I went down to a sign convention. Saw lots of cool stuff. I thought I knew everything I would need to know about making signs and I was way off. There was so much stuff there that amazed me. It was a good time. It's nice to know that I get paid for field trips. That night I just stayed at my house because of the snow. I watched the movie "Waking Life." It was absolutely amazing. It was EXACTLY what I needed in my life right now. I've been questioning reality a lot recently. Trying to figure out what life is all about and what the real connection between people is. This movie opened up so many doors to me and the way they did it was amazing. The entire movie was shot and then each frame was painted over on a computer. It's the most artistic animation you could ever see. Everyone needs to see this movie. Gotta love indie films.

Saturday

I woke up early to battle the snow by taking public transportation. Wow... I forgot how much buses suck. I got a hat out of the deal, though. I was standing in the cold this morning and some guy gave me his hat. I told him I'd give it back to my dad and he could pick it up at his deli but he told me it was mine to keep. That was the nicest random act I've seen in a while. It's nice to know there are still some people that care. Work was annoying... I think I was just bitter that I had to go through all that trouble that morning to deal with people's shit. Anyway, it was a long day and I was happy to be done, even though it took me forever to leave the store. My brother picked me up so I didn't have to take the bus. I watched Waking Life again that night with my mom. Afterwards, I had a late diner night with Alicia, Becky, and Antonelli-friend Tom, who works in the mall. That was a good time. The waiters and waitresses took turns telling dirty jokes.

Sunday

Nothing much happened. I slept a lot and played guitar all day. I had band practice that night. It took awhile for us to get into it, but had fun nontheless.
