ahhh..i was supposed to see distillers march 27th. but they cancelled the show. brody was sick. we didnt find out til we got there. it reallly sucked. people were talking shit about her saying she o.d. we ended up in a fight with the kids.cuz i <3 brody.

I joined the community because Brody Dalle is hot and her vocality is rivaled by only Courtney Love. I <3 her lyrics and songs, especially Drain the Blood.
I first cam across the Distillers on MTV 2 when I was watching the "Drain the Blood" Video. Everyone else was okay -- but Brody Dalle really stood out. Probably because she is so damn fine. :D

hello kids.
i'm not exactly sure how many of you guys are active blurty users, but for sure know that i've moved on. maybe its just me, but blurty seems to have gone down especially now that livejournal got rid of invite codes. i've had an LJ for a long time now, so i pretty much abandoned my blurty account months ago. but i just wanted to say that i've moved on and this community is dead. i'm not deleting it, but i won't really take on the responsibility of being a mod (not that there really is a responsibility, we have like 15 members and no one updates).
so i guess i just wanted to say bye to this whole blurty thing. and if you don't have one already, get an LJ. that place is faaaar more active that blurty. so see you over there...i guess.

Okay, I just joined this community because it seemed rather spiffy. Is it totally wrong of me to envy Brody in every way possible because she is unbelievably pretty, has the most amazing voice I've ever heard, and writes some of the most amazing lyrics. I think not. Coral Fang is The Distiller's best CD yet, in my mind. I love how Brody isn't screaming everything the whole time, and you can actually hear her sing. Well, anyway, I just wanted to voice my unconditional love for The Distillers.
