Will Odor Ever Be Brought Back To The Odorless?
I'm still holding out hope that something big, important and Earth shattering will happen on my birthday, because while nothing big is building, February 2 might be one of those random days when something huge and unforeshadowed happens. I'd really like it to be a nuclear war but I'm not being picky.

I'll be perfectly satisfied if the hostile alien invasion force hovering just outside the Earth's atmosphere picks Thursday to land and take over this dump. Or if Ian Punnett chooses that day to announce, live from the media and entertainment capital of Southern Minnesota, Minneapolis, that he is returning to the big time world of national prime time radio by bringing back C2C Live.

Or both. Or something equally good. See? I'm even willing to suspend my ironclad, unbreakable "NO SURPRISES" rule for this. I really don't know how I could be more flexible, adaptable or compromising on this. Now it's up to the Universe to its' part by giving me something big.

I'll even settle for Illinois becoming a blighted nuclear wasteland (Which may have been foreshadowed by this: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/46199857/ns/us_news-environment/#.TyhkjYFfTTp. if and only if this is turns out to be the first time ever that the government has ever lied to us about anything important and dangerous, such as malfunctioning nuclear power plants or purposely injecting unsuspecting people with venereal diseases) even though it's sure to invite lots of unfair comparisons between us and New Jersey.

So you see, I am, as promised, not the least bit picky. The one thing I am demanding, though, is that we don't have a huge molesting teachers scandal a'la the huge molesting clergy scandal. Because it would be nothing more than a rerun. And could someone explain to me just how a guy could stage and photograph mass molestations in a classroom in a public school over a period of many years in complete secrecy, with absolutely no witnesses and none of the victims saying anything, only to be busted when the guys at Fotomat got suspicious over some of the film he was having developed?

Are we caught in a time warp? Is this 1912 instead of 2012? And I don't mean to split hairs here or anything but why are all the photos that were described depicting child abuse instead of the child molestation the guy is accused of? Call me suspicious if you want but I say there is a huge untold and very embarrassing side to any story about a guy who was busted only because he's never heard of digital photography.

But forget about that because all you need to be worried about right now is calling your congressman and demanding nuclear war. On Thursday. Or you could put on your tinfoil hat and send them telepathic invasion instructions. Or you could even call Ian and beg for the return of C2C Live.

It's all up to you. All I'm asking is that you get the day right. THURSDAY.
