Today's Random Coast Notes You didn't hear it from me, but Ian Punnett is desperately trying to buy your vote for Coast Host Of The Year. You don't even need to not hear it from me, anyway, if you listened to last night's show (
http://www.coasttocoastam.com/shows/2008/08/02.html). Short of having Paul or Ringo on, Ian did the next best thing by having May Pang...well, yes, having John or George would have been better and while that might strike many of you as impossible, I'd like to remind you that entangled particles exist and until you can explain them, I suggest that you put off making judgments about life after death if you don't want to end up looking really foolish and furthermore, I'd just like to add that if John or George do decide to appear on a radio show here, what show would they choose besides Coast?
And now a lot of you are saying, "What about Yoko? And if the equal time laws were still in force, they'd have to have to her on." To you, I say, just listen to the show. In the first place, it was as far from being a Yoko bashing session---and for those of you who see it the other way, it wasn't a Yoko praising session, either---as it could have been. In the second place, I'm sure that Yoko could be on the show anytime she wanted.
And I, for one, wish that Yoko would do the show. John was alleged to have another UFO sighting that included close contact with three beings and Yoko was there for that one. I would love to hear the firsthand details of that. Even if it turns out that it never happened, I'd like to know. And, speaking of UFO sightings, that was the one weak point of last night's show. They went over it way too fast.
Still, the show gets a perfect ten (Very rare for a show without a JC call---and he did call in on Friday and I might get to that soon but not in this post) and the question now is: How is Ian going to top this?
