It's Friday The 13th, You Bastards
This Friday The 13th proves, finally, in a really big way, what I have always said: It's not all about bad luck. Sure, there was a lot of bad luck. Cedar Rapids is making the national news in a way it would rather not. And Tim Russert died.

But it was a really good day for R. Kelly. And the stock market was up. And those are just the biggest news stories so far today. It goes all the way down to all the little things that happened to ordinary people like you and me. And the question is, is there anything special about today? Does Friday The 13th magnify the normal trends of good and bad luck?

And if it does, does it go beyond the normal and extend into the paranormal? Did you see a ghost? A UFO? The Loch Ness Monster? Did you have lunch with an alien? Or maybe Elvis? Did you finally master Remote Viewing or Astral Projection? Did you discover that you're psychic?

I wish I could say that all or even any one of those things happened to me but they didn't. I had a pretty cool dream last night (That hasn't come true, at least not yet) but that's all. But the day is still young and if you're in the same boat I'm in...that's unintentional irony, I'm not making a comment on the flooding going on here...because today was just average and ordinary, don't despair, because the night might be really big.
