when they gave the instructions, those who were listening acknowlegded the simplicity. they had: simple minds so they said; "contain her, and surrond her, don't let her escape, or we will forget and never remember"
when the stars captured the sky, she fled from the room went straight to the streets they were her's and they kept her together, night after night she sat down on the curb in the rain, in the cold searched through her bag and took out what she needed to make her herself because she couldn't really be without the lines on her mirror and they tried to tell her but their screams didn't help, oh, you look so pretty when you're caught inside you look so pretty when you do that line.
after the rolled up bill fell out of her hand, she lay in a puddle on the street which was her's, tears seeping out to the bottom and the end.
they watched as he lifted her into his car then, waved goodbye to her bag and her streets and her puddles drove away too quickly she faded too fast.
and they never remembered
