Who: Paladin and Elektra Where: Elektra's place When: Tuesday night
To Mia Dearden's warped sense of humor, all of this sudden chaos was a bit like Spring Break, as during all of this, Elektra was admittedly more concerned with keeping the two of them safe then with putting the hammer down with her training. So, THIS fine evening, she sat on the floor (how utterly comfy), eating a styrofoam container of ramen, and reading a small, thick comic book. "You know, E... this is 2008. I don't think the Chaste would think any less of you if you owned like... a DVD player or a Playstation or something."
Elektra was seated at an antique desk in the apartment she lived in with Mia, her back turned to the young woman as she looked through some photos. "If I owned them, you would be playing them instead of training. Oliver has more than enough gadgets for you to entertain yourself with."

Tanith had been tracking one of the bigger aliens for some time now. Not long. An hour. Watching it roam. Gathering information on it. It wasn't assessing a territory. Not looking for anything in particular. It was, in a word, just making a mess and making enough noise to a) cover up her own sounds of movement and b) warn everyone in front of it that it was coming, so no one was getting injured. Tanith suspected that it tracked by movement, rather than heat, which may have explained why it hadn't registered her yet. Or maybe by sound alone - or even by sheer bioelectrics, which Tanith (being dead) technically had none. It was a curiousity, and Tanith hadn't had the opportunity to track another large predator in a long time. Oddly, she was enjoying it.

Gwendolyn Cook gave a last short tug on the laces of her boots, securing them in a double knot before checking to make sure other things, such as the belt slung around her hips was in place. The tan little pouch carried any additional medical supplies she'd need, if it was necessary. The pale blue half-skirt was still taking some getting used to, not to mention the hot pants ... what the hell had she been thinking? Oh, right, with my libido. She scolded mentally to herself. Finally, she checked the leather arm cuffs around her upper arms, they too were secure. Her last gesture was a thumbs up to Carrie, "I'm good to go!" Was her enthusiastic reply.
