just some poems i've written [01 Sep 2008|01:18am] hella_quotes [allyboo] [ mood | nervous ] hey girls. i was just looking through my drawers and found these old poems i wrote throughout last year. i know they're not great, but let me know what you think! i hate this. everything. drama. boys. girls. petty arguments over nothing. it's a waste of time. why argue with someone you won't remember 20 years from now? pointless. ridiculous. it makes someone want to escape. sometimes permanently. what does that feel like? how can a stupid problem make you so upset it's worth risking it all? some people don't think it's that stupid. they just don't understand. they toy with people's emotions. build them up, then tear them down. it's selfish. fill your own greedy quota of the day-- make another one love me! why? you have your own, why do you need more? look for more compliments. one day there won't be anyone left to give them. good luck. do you remember that night? that one night that you honestly thought you couldn't live through? the night that time stopped and the only way you knew you were still alive was by finding your pulse? she had one of those nights. sitting in her car, her tears were disguised by the rain, just as her heartbeat was muffled by the windshield wipers. how could this have happened? she was young, she was in love, she was looking forward to a life with her husband. the side of the road is no place for a widow. her phone was lying on the seat beside her, still counting the seconds of the phone call. how long had it been since she'd answered the phone? 20 minutes -- 30? was that how long the baby had been screaming in the backseat? their baby. no longer was she catatonic. noises, smells, everything came crashing down on her at once. sirens blared, dogs barked, cars raced past her window. was her son tired or hungry? either way, he'd go home with his mother and be tucked into bed, not knowing what life with a father is like, not knowing that being in the wrong place at the wrong time can kill you, not knowing that by the end of the night he'd be an orphan. post comment

#1170: A copy of my story [28 Aug 2008|10:01am] roaring_rory So me and Hanna were driving home, right, la di da di da. Pretty simple. And this little green car pulls out in front of us at a corner and Hanna mumbles about them being a cockhead and we keep on driving. But then. The little green car pulls up like 2cm behind a taxi that a guy has just gotten into and the guy jumps out (the one from the little green car) (no seatbelt apparently) and grabs the taxi and the taxi driver and the taxi driver's wheel. The passenger jumps out and starts running with something in his hand and the little green car guy (we'll call him blue jacket grey beanie guy) starts chasing him. Now I didn't see this part and I'm not going to pretend to have seen this part but right about now Hanna screams "OMG HE'S GOT A KNIFE!!!!!!" but when I look all I see is the passenger running into a businessy looking building and disappearing and blue jacket grey beanie guy is fuming. Now as an after thought, when Hanna has calmed down, she tells me that the knife was a switchblade and the reason the passenger got away was that when blue jacket grey beanie guy tried to flip it he dropped it behind him. Then we went home and I bashed the ps2 for about half an hour and then we played Kingdom Hearts. Yeah, that's my story. post comment
