    AV Honor
"Just finished a pre-work game of AV. We won, downing Van while Allies were starting on Drek. Yet they got more bonus honor than we did. (426 for us to something like 460.) I think they had one of their Dun Baldar towers still up while all of ours were down. Does this sound right, that a losing side in AV can come out with more bonus honor. Or was I just too bleary-eyed to read the scoreboard straight. So basically towers > generals. I can see circumstances in which you'd rather rush Van/Drek but seems ideal to pick up as many towers as possible and then rush general. Which is funny because in my battlegroup the game has become a sprint to the generals, sometimes ignoring towers. well in your situation, had you waited on a tower alliance would have killed Drek before you could kill Vann, and you would probably have had less honor. So sounds like you did the best you could. and thats not a bad amount of honor anyway. It really depends on how you define a ""win"" in AV. If you define a ""win"" as the most honor gained, then you lost. When farming honor, I'll take these kinds of ""wins"" everytime. If you define a ""win"" as killing the general before the other team does, then you won. wow powerleveling When trying to finish a BG daily, you need these kinds of ""wins"" to complete the quest. On a related note regarding AV honor...Don't forget to free the wing commanders. That is a potential 60 points of honor IF all 3 make it back to their bases. power level A lot of players only focus on the towers, captains, and generals while completely ignoring the commanders. For granted, you get no points if they get killed by the opposing team but most people will ignore an elite mob and let him/her go on its way.
These little points here and there will start to add up over time. Thanks for replies, btw. wow gold kaufen To report from my battlegroup -- post 2.4 AV has, as I mentioned above, become all sprints to the generals. Very little strategy or teamwork that I saw while grinding this weekend, alas. I only came aboard in 2.3 and I'm already nostalgic for those 45-minute turtles where we wound down the reinforcements counter in massive battles inside frostwolf keep. wow power leveling (I can only imagine what it was like pre-2.3.) But in terms of efficiency, I can't argue. Even in the rare times we've gotten slaughtered we seem to get 200+ bonus honor for 15 minutes of work. And some games end with 500+ in 11 minutes. gold wow It's certainly made the grind to S1 a lot faster than I anticipated." "The only time you should get issues is during elemental stage when people arent targeting aran personally, big juicy raid warnings should solve that. if they have that and still move call them out on it by name, once people get singled out as the one that moved they should take extra care.

Why trading accounts is a bad idea
"Well, personally I had never been enticed to trade accounts. I love my toons and I love the satisfaction of knowing that every single thing achieved on them is my own. That and it is against the agreements you agree to when you install the game and most importantly it compromises the account's security. This final reason is exactly why a Guildie lost his account yesterday. Long story short. Guildie A traded his warrior for a rogue. After a while he then decided to trade that rogue for a warlock. After a little while longer he decided to trade that warlock to Guildie B for Guildie B's Pally. Guildie A and B are both great people to play with and both know their classes really well despite not having played the toons all the way from 1-70. Anyway yesterday, the Lock account, which now belongs to Guildie B, was hacked by the person who originally traded the Lock for the Rogue from Guildie A. We assume the hacker retrieved the password by using the secret question which apparently can't be changed. Anyway when the hacker came online with the lock, he was vigorously questioned by the guild and it turns out that he hacked the lock because someone hacked his rogue and he assumes that it was the person he originally traded the lock to which I am pretty certain it isn't. Anyway, it is a fine mess, which I am guessing will end up with the lock account being cancelled by Blizzard. This simply makes it perfectly clear why this practice isn't allowed by Blizzard. wow lvl Personally, I hope for Guildie B that he gets his account back and I hope they all learn from this. Rusttle, no clue why you were rated down, but I rated you back up as what you said was absoloutley true.
There is no way to secure a foregn account. level wow There is no way for you to retrieve it if the original owner decides they want it back. So what, right. You could just log back into your own, right. cheap world of warcraft gold Well, what if they sold/DEd all of your equipment and then deleted the account. You may get the char back, but Blizz rarely refunds stuff you didn't actually have at the time of deletion. Or worse, they could have been banned and took their own account back because of that. wow gold So, in conclusion, take the short time it takes an experienced player to hit 70. It is satisfying, honest and safe. It's a crazy and unfortunate situation but before I go all empathetic, I'm going to call you on a minor oversight that for whatever reason is a harsh pet peeve of mine. The pally turned warlock did not get hacked. wow gold Hacking implies a level of innocence on the part of the victim...like they did everything right and someone with a significant amount of technical expertise screwed them over. As you've acknowledged, your friends got stupid with account security and sadly, at least one of them has paid the price. Call me old-school, but labeling it a ""hack"" any time someone uses a front-end feature to do something sneaky with an account is passe and takes attention away from the solution. Your friends handed over the keys to Troy and were subsequently ass-raped without a Trojan. There are always going to be people naive enough to think that the security warnings are meant for everyone but them and surrendering the information that keeps their account safe couldn't possibly bite them in the ass later. Then they get bit on the ass.
Then they cry, ""hack!"" and everyone who knows better cries, ""stupid!"" and before you know it all you've got left are a bunch of people with sore asses crying at one another. " .

    A lot of noob Questions
"I`m a big fan of Final Fantasy, and have been playing the Final Fantasy 11 mmorpg for the better part of 4 years now. I decided to take a break from it for a bit and give WoW a try. I skimmed through the wiki site but it just made me more confused. I have no experience when it comes to WoW lore and know nothing about the game or the warcraft universe. I want to apologize in advance for some of the noob questions I`m about to ask. From what I read, certain races can only play certain job classes; so does 1 race play a job better than another race which can play the same job. Are races appearance only or do they each hold different stats in health, magic, etc. Warrior and Paladins are both tanks and damage dealers right. If so, which(excluding player skill), is the better tank class, and which is the better damage class of the 2. Are they both heavily wanted by other people to be in their party. Which weapon types can a warrior and paladin use. Which weapons can a rogue class use. Do warrior and paladin share the same equipment. Can rogue's wear heavy armor. wow lvl In Final Fantasy 11, different jobs excelled at using different weapons. Does the same hold true here. If a warrior can use an axe and sword, does he have the same attack rating with both, or would he be better using one over the other. wow power leveling Sorry if this is confusing, but I`m used to FF11 where each job had a different combat rating with each weapon and thus, had different attack ratings. Do weapons and armor have wear & tear. meaning you have to keep fixing them after a certain period of time.
Ever quest platinum Are you able to change job classes when you want, or do you have to create another character if you want to try a different job(keeping the same race, but wanting to try another job out). Is there another informational website that I can visit other then the wiki page that will help me understand things better. Sorry again for the noob questions. wow europe If anything I asked was too confusing to understand, I`ll try and reword them. Like I said before, all I know is FF11 so I`m not too sure how to word things here. " "I am a student attending the University of Texas at El Paso, majoring in Sociology and Gender Studies.I am preparing a short project for a Gender Studies course that looks at representations of gender in popular culture. gold in wow I am working along with two other students in presenting a topic on what place video games have in the discourse of gender. My contribution is specifically looking at gender dynamics in MMORPG type games, specifically World of Warcraft. As a previous player I have noticed, just by simple observation, some interesting phenomena in regards to gender and avatar selection, and the sociology of interaction in WoW.

How rare is the baby croc
"I started doing the fishing dailies about 4 days after 2.4 patched on two toons. So far on both, I got the fishing tracker book and the booze recipe. Individually I got a shadow pearl once and jaggal pearl 2X once. Think I got motes two or 3 times, but not in the last 5 days. The highest level of ""junk"" I got was the Gold Wedding Band. Nice 15g bonus. Has anyone tried auctioning one of those. Alla median price looks good but don't know if people are actually buying these. If I win another, I'll try the AH. Would be nice to get Chuck for my toon Chuk. Nice naming synergy. Would prefer to get a fishing line or hat first. Or the gem or 2 ring (but not holding breath on those). I too am hooked on this daily. wow powerlevel Closest thing to a lotto ticket in game. Minimal time required (assumes you already put in the time to get high enough skill to run this daily) for potentially huge profit/reward/cool items. I always pause and wait a second to open the bag after turn in. wow level Actually get excited in anticipation. Can't say that any other thing in game elicits that same feeling (except maybe a raid boss, but that takes a longer time investment). " "just wondering if you think ganking (i roll horde on Barthilas) is getting out of control. eve isk i mean, i do expect to be spanked from time to time being on a pvp server, and it would be nice some fairer fights occaisonally. Admittedly i have been questing my lowbie in one of the worst areas (hillsbrad), but you would think that a high level would have something more interesting to do than roam around lowbie areas pwning everything in sight.
i dont go out of my way to gank (i have geared 70 toons on the server as well), i will go head to head with someone around the same level if the chance permitts, if i die, so be it, if i win, i dont try to corpse camp. wow gold nothing worse having to do a spirit res over the other side of the map due to some idiot camping you for no reason. all this said, i guess ebay toons are excused because they have no idea about the game. Glorfin sighed happily i just think that it is out of control, and any level of decency that was left in the game is being vaccumned out of the pvp world. Hasn't seemed too bad for me lately, and I've even been slacking a ton on my typical gank-avoidance strategies: by letting myself get below 40% health frequently (troll rogue, so I like popping a good juicy berserk fairly often) and recklessly forsaking all stamina in favor of the highest DPS gear I can find. wow powerleveling Granted this was only the last ~8 levels of my rogue that I've played recently, but still - I was an easy open kill for anyone with the inclination but not very many people went after me. The main thing to realize is that if you constantly spawn and feed the guy kills, you're entertaining him. He will continue to kill you as long as you entertain him.
