6:00 pm - "You're the blood of me, you're the truth that hurts"
|
School was so unbelievably boring today, I can't tell! Every minute of our Maths lessons were such torturing and then in English I had to be afraid of being selected to this discussion thingy in front of the whole class -_- Thank God teacher didn't pick me!
The big day I'd been waiting for finally arrived yesterday, as the global premier of The Matrix Revolutions approached ^^ Here's my pathetic review-kinda-thing about the movie. It contains some spoilers so don't read it in case you wanna see the flick without knowing the details.
( The Matrix Revolutions review by Wildy )
Soo, enough rambling about that. I was all flattered by Smilly's words in her last update. I'm glad you liked my essay ^^ She said something amusing tho: "But I wonder does Wildy know how wicked women can be sometimes." I do, that's sometimes a reason I love them :P *Winks*
Father's Day is on Sunday and I don't have anything for my dad >_< I'm so broke that I probably have to give him a hug and say he's the best father in the world. Original :P
We're going to Smilly's place tomorrow after school. Eating, watching a movie and chatting = fab ^^
I should do my Finnish project now, I'm supposed to keep a presentation about it tomorrow and I only started yesterday... That's just too bright :P

*Listens to Sheryl Crow in extacy* I bought Sheryl's The Very Best album yesterday and I just can't stop listening to it. This really tells it all: *_* I wasn't gonna buy it just yet (I'd thought about buying it for a long time) but when I noticed her duet with The Corrs was included on the album, I couldn't resist the urge to buy it! The duet, 'C'mon C'mon' is fab ^^
We went to pick up the tickets for The Matrix Revolutions today with Gabby. Ah, I'll see it tomorrow! *Is in 7th heaven or something* Gabby will also come here tomorrow before the movie. Noodles and anime XD
I was in Vantaa last weekend, hemma hos Jani XD We had a great time (when don't we have??) watching movies, playing X-Box games and just chatting. I also met Julia, Jani's 4-year-old step-sister again. she's such a cutie ^^
Some quotes by Stanislaw Jerzy Lecin (a writer in Soviet time Poland):
"History isn't repeating itself? Maybe not. But it's definitely stuttering"
"Man breaths lighter if he keeps his mouth shut"
"There are times when short lives are in fashion"
"I don't know if the words created the world but I'm afraid they'll destroy it"
I somehow found those catchy altho our society isn't supposed to be like that anymore. Kinda sad to notice that sometimes the similarity is still noticeable.

I'm being hyper again, second time this week or something o.O My mom allowed me to carry some Pepsi Max bottles into the trolley as we went to the supermarket on our way home, so it's not that surprising :P
Oh, we got the tickets for Matrix Revolutions next Wednesday! ^^ My dad had queued an hour on the net before he could book them XD The site was stuck because everybody were there, doing the same thing he was. Aaaanyway, now we'll see it already next week. And that means: Trinity... *Stops to drool for a while*
*Takes a sip from a Pepsi bottle to clear up her head again*
I wonder what's happened to Looney. She went to Marocco (or somewhere down there :P) but I thought she'd be back already. Weird!
Our English teacher tumbled today at class *Can't help but giggle a bit* It wasn't fun in the sense that something far more serious could've happened but it just looked rather amusing ^^ This teacher is so poor with all technical stuff and she always manages to mess up everything XD Today we had an ancient over-projector at class and she tripped over its wire. Poor woman!
I'm so sick of that Robbie Williams hegemony, the radio station I'm listening to, has at the moment. They're giving out tickets to his concert in Helsinki and it's this huge thing and it's really annoying and I couldn't be less interested >_<
I obviously haven't got anything necessary to say today :P Nothing else but: Maki & Mina from Air Master = *Drooling and sighing* XD

School is all boring nowadays. Not friends but the subjects. And today, our geography teacher was ill and she was replaced by Sepi! >_< I succeeded to start writing my history essay. Still too much to write tho and only 2 weeks left. Depressing.
So, I finally managed to type my newest Buffy fic down from my notebook in which I wrote it last summer. I wasn't gonna post it at first but well, nothing to lose and Gabby made me do it :P I want you to remember while reading that I'd just watched a really sad movie when I wrote that. I was in an awful sappy-sugar-romance-mushy state. And that means a fic full of the same stuff. You've been warned! At least Phantom probably shouldn't read it *Nodnod* Oh, and it's long! I'm not sure if it fits into my journal even. We'll see... Yes, and it's femmeslash, pure femmeslash so if you happen to find that anyway offensive or something, don't bother to read. Ok, if we'd get to the fic finally ->
( Buffy fic - Willow/Kennedy - PG-13 )
Btw, I didn't have time for betareaders etc. so the fic's probably full of mistakes.
Oh, Air Master is such a great anime! *_* First three minutes were weird and I was quite sure I wouldn't download it more but then it got really interesting and I had to download it some more. Now I have first four episodes. And there's yuri in it!! Of course it's nothing to do with the fact why I like it XD

I'm in danger of getting some kind of an overdose from anime XD Sure, I'm overreacting but still, I've been watching it like a maniac x_x 2nd episode of Peace Maker Kurogane was absolutely hilarious! I mean, the tea scene! *Cracks up* Oh, Sailor Moon's Live Action is so horrible! I mean, how embarrassing >_<
Gabby and me had that famous coffee date with our precious ex-friend yesterday. I wouldn't discribe it as a nightmare like Gabby did, I'd say it was rather uncomfortable at times, for us. Not because we wouldn't have had anything to talk about, no, our ex-friend was really talkative. A bit too talkative I might add. And I couldn't help but thinking what exactly were her motives for the whole convo. Kinda sad that I can't think of anything else but the fact that she just wanted to satisfy her own conscience -_- And truly, we really don't have anything in common anymore.
Aaaaanyway, enough of sad things already *chipper, chipper* (Yes, a few litres of PepsiMax today, I know I'm hyper). Matrix Revolutions tickets can be booked on Monday! ^^v I'll figure out a way to book the tickets for us Gabby.
Oh my, oh my, oh my, oh my!!! Buffy's 5th season will be released here in the beginning of December! I thought they wouldn't release it before next spring ^^ I hope they'll release both, the 6th season and the 7th season during the year 2004. Then I can die happy :P

9:24 pm - Anime, anime, anime... And more anime! :P
|
Bittorrent has opened a whole new world for me! Now I have a growing obsession for anime because I can finally download different series after months of hoping, praying and swearing. Full Metal Alchemist (God yes!), Read Or Die (it's been licenced huh? Oops!), Avanger (I've always liked women who can fight XD), Green Green (...), Princess Tutu (Mute is so gay!)... Yes, I've reached a new level of obsession in anime: the level of no return O.o
Did some surffing today, after practising a bit for our English grammar exam tomorrow. Guys, guys! Dreamy, Smilly, Gabby and Phantom; THIS is us! XD Not bad I'd say, for a wallpaper I mean. I've seen better but I've definitely seen worse too!
And as we're talking about wallpapers here, you might find these interesting Gabby and why not Dreamy as well:
1. Echizen Ryoma 2. Team Seigaku 3. Join The Game 4. Red Ryoma Thingy
They're not that good but at least it shows how popular the show is ^^ And also, that's the place where I got My Utena Wallpaper from, the one I mentioned to you Phantom and Dreamy :P I find that site really good, all the pieces of art are well done.
Oh, almost forgot:
( Which Mythological Form Are You? )
Hmm... Yeah, I think that fits quite well, partly at least! *Shrugs*

I was hassling with Bittorrent yesterday evening and suddenly bumped into Gabby on MSN ^^ We had a nice convo about anime and wether I should start downloading Full Metal Alchemist or Bottle Fairy XD Well, we chatted quite long and at some point (note that I was really tired at that point :P) I started to study for my French vocabulary test on Tuesday >_< Not that Gabby was boring but I got this rush of energy XD Well, at least I don't have to study them today.
I was really flattered by Smilly's recent update *_* And that result actually fitted quite well (apart from some tiny miscorrect things that Smilly also noticed)!

*Taps the table with her fingers and waits Bittorrent to finish downloading* Getting Read Or Die's first episode is taking forever! It's better be worth it *LOL*
I've been watching movies, baking a cake and making some dinner all day. My parents drove to our summerhouse one last time this year so it was my job to make the dinner ready when they got back. I felt myself energetic again so while I was at it I also baked a carrot cake.
I watched Mademoiselle and A Fish Called Wanda yesterday evening. Laughed my ass off during the last one and sighed like a maniac during the first. Wanda was so good! I've also seen the second part which was ok but the first one was hilarious XD Mademoiselle is a French movie, it tells about one day in two people's lives and how their lives curled up together for that day. I couldn't resist it and also watched The Matrix Reloaded again, for the third time. I must say, Trinity's boobs are nowhere to be seen during the movie. At least I can't spot them altho some people claime they do *Scratches her head in disbelief* Eh, got a bit off track there, sorry :P So, I'm definitely gonna watch it again the fourth time in the near future.
Got this weird sms to my mobile on Thursday: my ex-friend asked me and Gabby for a coffee (absurd as neither one of us actually drinks coffee XD)... I found that a bit strange and so did Gabby. In any case, we're going and we're gonna see what'll come out of it.
All the school work waits there on the table but...heck! I'm just too damn lazy for doing anything right now -_- I hope I'll have a better luck tomorrow.

Hooooooooliday's here!! *A big 'phew'* About bloody time already! This last day at school was such torturing -_- We were supposed to get our last classes off and already be out around 2 p.m. but of course the teachers had decided not to do that *Whining and cursing* Well, I managed and the last two lessons were quite nice actually. We went to a Chinese restaurant after school, Smilly, Dreamy, Gabby and me. Phantom was her cranky self today and refused to come. D'uh! :P
Well, anyways. I finally, FINALLY found Serendipity from Anttila today and as Gabby lent me some money I was able to buy it before someone else did. I'm so happy, I've been looking for that one for ages ^^ I have a huge pile of DVDs to watch during the holiday which is only a good thing. And as my brother will be gone as well I'll have the house all to myself *Evil laughter*
Ha, on top of all, I got Bittorrent to work on my computer at last! And also downloaded DivX Player 2.1 back and now I can watch all the videos with no problems at all ^^ I was jumping around when I solved the problems. So how sad am I?!? :P So, as I was able to watch the videos, I started my Princess Tutu marathon (downloaded first 5 eps with bittorrent) and laughed my ass off while watching XD Read Or Die's first episode is almost finished so soon I can watch that too.

Last weekend went by so incredibly fast! Well, it probably was something to do with the fact that Jani was here but still. We went to see that wrestling show on Thursday evening and well, it was a disappointment. It wasn't as cool (or whatever) as I'd thought it to be and on top of all I didn't hear a thing with my right ear the next day because of the friggin' fire thingys which exploded time after time during the show. But then again, it was a nice experience and all.
The Matrix Realoded was finally released on last Friday and of corrs I bought it straight away! ^^ We watched it with Jani on the same day and it was as good as I'd remembered it to be. Didn't surprise so much that Jani didn't like it :P Neo/Trinity just happens to be one of the rare het couples I really, really support.
I was totally blown away by the thing that I've been nominated in several categories in CorrsOnline's Halloween awards! It's a traditional thing that we have every year (just fun, nothing serious *LOL*) and I've never been nominated before ^^ *Is really taken aback by this great honour*
Autumn "holiday" begins on Thursday!! *Party, party!* It's not much of a holiday actually, only two extra days off. Anyways I have a pile of DVDs to watch and some school work must also be done. My brother will be on his confirmation camp the whole time so the house will be all mine, MINE! *Evil laughter* (What do you mean I'm over energetic again?!? :P)
We got a new neighbour last week when someone moved into the house opposite ours. Will be interesting to see what kind of people will be settling in.

Sooo, got my biology exam back today. Got an A! I got an A! o.O *Faints* I've no idea when I'll get back the rest. Probably next week. Techers always seem to be way too lazy in giving exams back :P Nah, probably they just have hundreds of exam papers to check so it's not a surprise it takes time.
I'm going to watch that WWF thingy in Elysée Arena tomorrow. You know, that wrestling show from America XD Well, it may be cool! Who knows? It's better be a good experience because the tickets were damn expensive. It'd be rather annoying to notice I paid for nothing *Nodnod*
I laughed this morning! God I laughed this morning! Arnold Schwarzenegger got elected as the new governor of California! XD Ok, now I've seen it all *ROFL* What the heck is wrong with Americans?! First Bush Jr. and now Arnold. Gee! *Shakes head*
*Bounce, bounce* Charlie's Angels, the original TV series will start on TV again today! ^^ Yes, yes, call me weird or whatever you want but I'm a big fan of the series *Grin* The actress who plays Sabrina Duncan was one of my first female crushes *_* Anyways, I have to wait three hours before the first episode hits the screens, hmph! *Decides to read while waiting*

Did you know this: In Hong Kong, a betrayed wife is legally allowed to kill her adulterous husband, but may only do so with her bare hands. The husband's lover, on the other hand, may be killed in any manner desired.
Now that's what I call justice! :P
Anyways, down with the business here. Weekend went far too fast, again. We went to that book thingy on Saturday and all of us found something to buy: Smilly got a book about acient Rome (or at least that's what I thought it was!), Gabby found David Eddings' Polgara, some scrap book with the newspaper headlines in the 1930-1940's and a book about Rome's empirors. I bought myself a book called The Illustrated Encyclopedia Of Myths & Legends. I love it! *Hugs the book in her arms*
We had a fab time at Gabby's place, as usual! Wacthed lots of anime *Grins* Prince Of Tennis, Get Backers... ^^ Thank God I have some manga to read as well (Gravitation vol.1)!
I don't get it. My computer is mad at me, again. I tried to install Bittorrent (I had to unistall it when I got a new hard disk) again but for some reason my computer doesn't react in any way when I click the 'install' button *Swears heavily* God dammit!!
We had our first English lesson in this term today. The group had shrunk a lot since last spring, it seemed like it was only 20 people or something. Despite the fact that the group was small I didn't like the idea of us squeezing into our multimedia class. It's full of computers and stuff and we would be supposed to study threre?!? In your dreams -_-
My mother's birthday is tomorrow. I'm gonna bake her something after I'll get back from school ^^ That reminds me that Gabby's daddy also has his big day tomorrow (quite a coincidence, huh?!) so say my congrats to him for me Gabby!

Ah, exams over, new term begun and weekend! ^^ Geography was the last exam yesterday. Smilly was ill and couldn't take part in it so it was just me and Gabby then. The teacher asked just the questions I didn't believe he would, so typical! >_<
The second term began today with three two-hour sessions. History (history of acient Greece and Rome), Finnish and French. History was cool, seemed reaaaally interesting from the beginning. We're all, Dreamy, me, Gabby, Smilly and Phantom, there XD Finnish was total hell for me. I'm basically alone there, I knew a few people tho. And my dear ex-friend is there, trying to make my life as miserable as possible. Perfect! *Sarcastic smile* French was weird, because I noticed I've forgotten basically everything during the summer ._. We did some listening rehearsals and I got ok results tho.
Ooh, I wish a really good trip to Marocco to Looney! Have a nice time ^^ Hmph, wish I could travel around the globe as well.
We're going to this book fair or something tomorrow, Gabby, Smilly and me. After that I'm going to Gabby's house for a sleepover. We're gonna watch some Tenipuri and probably The Hours DVD I bought a few days ago ^^

I've never spent so little time in an exam that I did today. I needed one hour sharp to do my biology exam and then I was ready. I was at home already around 10.30 a.m. o.O The exam was rather easy so that was the biggest reason. I'm glad this (most probably) went quite well because I feel like to totally fucked up the Swedish exam yesterday >_< Ok, maybe I should have studied more but still... *Shakes head*
Anyway, I went to buy next term's books yesterday with my mom and I was just talking about this French singer, Helène Segara, how I really like her music etc. Then out of the blue my mom said something like "Well, show the CD for me then and maybe I can buy it to you". I was like -> o.O I can't remember when my mom would've said something like that! Well, I showed Segara's album, Humaine, to her and she bought it for me ^^ I totally love it! The melodies are very beautiful and I actually understand most of the words (She sings in French) :P
Now that I remember to mention, for all female gay people, this is a good place to gather -> Bat Island <- It's in Finnish so only Finns can actually read it *LOL*
Maybe I should study some geography for a change. I'll have the cooking club thingy later on today so I have to study before it *Grabs the geography book and sighs*

Anyone would like to replace me?? :P I'm just downloading some videos and after that I really have to revise a bit.

I love the exam already :P
Wheeeeeeee! *Turns cartwheels round the room* I won The Corrs' The Right Time single a few days ago! ^^ One of the rarest singles ever released from them. I paid 9€ from it while some real collectors would've paid something like 30€ o.O
Found something interesting from the DVD store also: Italiaa Aloittelijoille (Italian For Beginners in English, Italiensk För Begyndere in Danish). Argh! My little brother's listening to the music and verrrrry loud >_< Ramstein... Ok, it's a good band which has some ok music but when you're trying to study or do something usefull (me? Usefull?!? Ehh... :P) it really gets on your nerves! And on top of all, he listens it way too loud which means that people walking past our house can hear it o.O
I found out yesterday that my grandpa will be transferred to another hospital on Thursday which is some "special" place for people who have a lung disease or some problems in them anyway. I hope they'll found out what's wrong with him. He had to go to the hospital last Friday because of the terrible pain in the lungs and stuff. He's feeling better but the doctors still seem to be really worried.
Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear! Thursday, the day of a total disaster is appearing faster than I'd like to! Yes, exam week begins then and no matter how hard I try not to stress, I do *Glares at the evil books on the table* I should finish my religion book today, we'll see what I can do about it.
I went to the movies the other day with Gabby and my little brother Juhani. We saw Bruce Almighty, at last! Hmm... I don't wonder why the government in the Philippines forbad the whole movie. Altho I, personally, didn't find it offensive it was easy to understand that some people might really do.
Those relatives of my dad that I mentioned last time visited us today ^^ They're from Maryland, USA. The cousin of my grandma, Vieno, is 85 (!!!) and still likes to travel around the globe. His nephew, Paul, was with him and he's only 15 *LOL* He seemed like a 25-year-old tho! It was nice to talk English with some natives for a change. Vieno could speak some Finnish also so it made the situation a lot easier for my dad and my grandparents who came here as well. My grandma came up with an idea a while back that she'd travel to the US and Canada next year or a year after that, and she'd like to take me with her! I'd be more than eager to go ^^
Now I should take a look at that religion book I mentioned earlier. I could come up with dozens of things I'd like to do better instead but that book haunts me o.O
