A ws the first to call... I think it was a few minutes before midnight... Guess she didn't want to take any chances with political incorrectness...! She said all the 'correct' things...
She gave me the most memorable 'Nov21' of my life... I had slogged for a week on my project... Hadn't slept for days... Came back home during the wee hours of 21st... And she knew... just like that...
But that was 2 years ago... And plenty's changed since then...!!
N dropped by just after midnight... She ws her usual sweet self... But her sweetness can get sickening sometimes...! ;)
And then the gang dropped by..!
Now that I wasn't expecting... Sh, Amit, keeth, Subbu, Madura... and Stephen...!! They'd come down to IIM fr a play... that's almost all the way to my place... But they dropped in with cakes and a HUGE cream filled chocolate eclair... And lots of presents...
Last night's acquisitions:
~Little plastic 'Space Invaders' gun that makes a rattling noise
~Little plastic camera with pictures of Urmila, Fardeen, Kareena et al inside that I can see if I hold it up to the light
~A huge 'Shaktimaan' baloon
~Two heart shaped baloons - one medium, one small
~A bubble blowing set
~A very aptly worded card made out of one precious page of Amit's top secret diary
~25 birthday bumps (quite painful, at that)
~'Feel good' factor that I can't even begin to tell
Thanks a million ppl... You've just made my whole week...!
And of course H and Y called up... one from office, the other from Bombay...
And bro messaged from Pune... Is that a first...?
And Porno called up this morning...

Miss P, exotic dancer gypsy goddess-ish person, called up from Delhi around mid-day... Double yay..!
She's promised to call back... I'm going to hold her to that one...!!
And I've had msgs and calls coming in from all sorts of people... Some of whom I've only met once or twice in my life...!
Makes me feel like a sod for not being sociable enough when it comes to remembering other people's birthdays...
