Monk Star World, Tuesdays
I love this one about a one time cop suspended from the force for harbouring a host of phobias and OCD to boot. He now runs a private consulting detective agency while simultaneously trying his damnedest to get himself re-instated on the force.
Needless to say, he's a brilliant investigator but not the most confidence inspiring cop !
Ben Shalhoub as Detective Monk is my current fav. on TV...
Someone Like You Star Movies, Thursday, October 30
A regular 'semi-mush' movie... Finding true love through heartbreaks and important sounding theories about the mating preferences of bulls in pasture... What makes the film watchable is the starcast - Ashley Judd and Hugh Jackman with cameos from Greg Kinnear and Marissa Tomei (if you're the kind that finds these people watchable !)...
Hugh Jackman is the regular male hottie (Oh! That I were a woman...), though he's a terrible, terrible kisser and hence a major turn off...
Ashley Judd makes me want to do wild things to her in bed...!! ;)
But then again...
