The problem on the Underground?
Well... I was switching trains at King's Cross St. Pancras Underground Station and when I got off the Northern Line, I could hear this alarm going off - but everyone was moving about as if nothing was going on so I took it as a false alarm and went to the Picadilly Line.
Train pulled in but the doors didn't open because the sign was up that the station was closed -- even though the platform was still crowded - and then some member of staff came along and told everyon that the train doors weren't going to open and that everyone had to get out of the station.
So... how to get home?
No staff around to ask so I ask the newsagent guy - who directs me to get Bus 91 at the stop around the corner.
I miss the bus as I get there so wait longer.
After about 10mins, next bus arrives but when I get on to ask him if it goes to Wood Green, he says he doesn't so I have to push my way off again.
I spend the next 10mins trying to find other buses that go there -- called my dad but he was giving me all the wrong numbers XDDD
Walked back to the main entrance of the station - which now has fire engines and police cars parked outside - to ask one of the Community Police Officers ... who has no idea about buses.
Approach a London Underground guy who directs me back to the same stop and the same bus.
Get back to the bus stop and figure out that I will be waiting a long time for that bus that he and the newspaper guy told me to get as it turned out to be the N91 which is a nightbus >_O
Anyways, I deicde to call quits on a bus up to Wood Green or anywhere near there... So I got thenext bus which said it was going to Finsbury Park.
I figure I can get the train there.
Bus ride is taking ages -- and then I see that we're heading towards Camden -- and I know I can grab a bus to Wood Green there and then another one to my house.
However, before we get there, we stop at Caledonian Road -- HALLEUJAH!!!!!
Get off bus and onto the Picadilly Line.
Neverminded bus to my house from the underground station and probably walked the fastest I have ever walked home.
And now here I am.

Mum really REALLY enjoyed her birthday present today - I pre-bought 3 tickets for all of us to see the Lion King musical today as her present.
They were the 2nd most expensive tickets there - and the musical was just breathtakingly awesome :D
I loved it so much and we were so glad that we got stall seats as we got to see some of the other dancers and animals go to the stage from either side of where we were sat.
Dad also enjoyed the musical too.
And the songs were really nice - even thought they were a little different to the musical OST I already had.
I got a photo programme as a souvenir - as well as a special limited edition mask of Scar - they only had Scar and Mufasa, but the Scar one looked WAY better.
After that, dad took us for dinner for mum's birthday too.
I think today's been a really good day.
Oh and mum said it's okay for me to go travel to Portsmouth for a day to hang with Yuki too - wheee

Just got Gituar Hero today...
I didn't get to play on it much because I was tired from last night's night shift and also I'm still working on the WRD thingy for Wednesday...
But it's damn addictive...
On another note, I want to say thanks to Kenta-chan and Taisa for cheering me up through today and tonight about the thing that's been bugging me for a month now.. and still continues to upset me, piss me off and depress me all at the same time.

ZOMG!!!!! Mark and I won 2nd place in the Cosplay Masquerade today as Pocky and Tifa!!!!
I was SO shocked!!!!
It was awesome!!! I'm so happy - even though I was so nervous that when I flung myself back on stage I didn't manage to break my fall so ended up bruising my knees and skimming the skin off my arm near the elbow.
I was so paranoid that my wig might fall off as well as it was the first time I wore one (thank you Rel for making it for me)
But damn... it was worth it - Expo was worth it - I'm definetely going both days next May!!
Huzzah!!!!

Gah.
Had to call in sick today.
Like the first time calling in sick at work since I started there in January this year.
And what's worse is that Expo is tomorrow.
I've had a few friends call me up already asking me if I can meet them up tonight - I think I'm going to have to call them all off as I don't want to get worse.
Also, I've had a lot of people asking me if I will be okay for tomorrow and Sunday.
I really do hope I am.
But yes, I'm looking forwards to tomorrow.
After coming back from my holiday and feeling miserable from the shit that happened that week, I'm glad I got through it thanks to my friends.
I'm pretty sure I'm going to be able to go tomorrow and Sunday.
I know there's one or two people who are angsting that I'm going...
