I take it back.. Kadiri ang Fifth Wheel at Blind Date. ang pangit nilang lahat. --- We watched Troy last night. And I think I just made a puddle of drool after that two and half hour Brad Pitt exhibition. Goshness! Greek god! Eric Bana was hot too! Orlando Bloom was hot the first fifteen minutes; however as the movie progresses, he turns into this sappy, cowardly, GIRLY (as aventine_hill--- Hay, naglagay na naman ako sa pulis kanina... when will I ever learn :S Good thing kat was with me. The javanilla proved to be comforting after that incident. Oh and thanks for listening to my ramblings on the state of my life. I'll try to take your advice and risk getting out of my comfort zone. --- I've been telling kat that I have no focus in life; I'm so sabog. Aaarrrgghhh... I'm a driftwood. :( --- I am like a seed with no capabilities of growing strong roots. I do get to be watered and cultivated; the soil where I have been planted is fertile but there's this fear of changing. I've grown accustomed to being just a seed so I try to make as little noise as possible. Just a little movement, a little branching out. A few punctures to let the limbs out but nothing that would extend and grab on to the soil. The seasons have gone by and I am still a seed. The others who have been planted with me are now spreading out their branches and giving birth to fruits. As for me, I've been suffocated by the darkness of the ground--- shriveled and stuck. |

My new favorite channel! I can watch it the whole day! My new favorite show is Queer Eye for the Straight Guy! Ang saya saya! Awww, I miss my gay friends. :) They also have Jay Leno, Conan O'Brien, Saturday Night Live... Kahit yung ibang trashy shows.. Fifth Wheel.. Blind Date..it's hypnotizing. Speaking of hynoptizing... have you seen the new Rejoice commercial? Man, it's like a magnet. When it's on, everything stops and you just stay where you are and glue your eyes to the screen. Wow! That's all I can say about McDo's Strawberry Banana Split McFlurry. Sarap!!! Just had dinner.. it was all comfort food--> Ragin Burger (Isa pang wow!), Go Big Time Fries and the McFlurry. Hay, food can really do you good especially after a looong day. But this shall all end, I'm turning in my letter tomorrow effective June 15. As each day passes by, my resolve to resign gets stronger and I'm looking forward to brighter and better days ahead! Ooohh... I'm excited! been doing a lot of thinking lately... and i've decided to move on. I'm no longer happy and I cannot see myself enduring another day with too much OC-ness. This is not just my style and it's sucking the happiness from my life. it's not just healthy. my only regret is... actually, i don't have any regrets pala. i've gained much experience in the past six months. work's like SPAM with an expiration date of six months; i better throw it out before it starts to get all funky and moldy. bring me the next canned good! wala sanang TK jan...pupunta naman tayo ng galera pag finished na ang comps ni paloysÜ We all needed the break; we were supposed to just relax at Nurture Spa but ended up trekking to the crater. (Best road trips are unplanned! and we were great bargain hunters!) It was hellish but we were brave souls (one was in a skirt pa!). We mustered the courage not to go through it the easy way; inching our way steep climbs on foot. When we finally reached it, twas the most beautiful sight at the top! But all things must come down; and I didn't think I could bear having to walk the sandy dirt road downhill with a blister on my foot so we decided to give in and become cowgirls.        It was one of the best days of my life... no worries, no hassles. Right now, if anj is into picture tweaking, I'm into amateur movie making naman. Ü I'm making a video of our Tagaytay Adventures, hope I finish it soon. I'm excited!!! --- Did you know? 1. The lake around the crater is 300 feet deep. 2. There are 47 craters in Taal. 3. The crater we see from Tagaytay is not active; the one behind it is. (and it's the one we saw) 4. Tagaytay is Cavite and Taal is Batangas. 5. There is only one school in Talisay (where the crater is) and its only until second grade. (sad fact.) |

Honestly, I don't know what to do with my life. If only the real world were like college life... Sure, you get stressed out BUT you know where you stand. You know what lies ahead; you have structure. You have things easy... you have friends to help you get through it all.. It's different now, yes you still have wonderful and supporting friends but you don't get to be with them 24/7 and they'll never understand what you're going through unless they're in the same boat as you are. I feel so alone... I hate being at the bottom of the food chain... I am a plankton.

Seems like my week is starting on the right foot... Even though I no longer have time to surf and bum around when I'm at work at least I get things done right on sked and even ahead of time. Everything's goin my way and I don't feel the pressure as compared to before. Hopefully I'll get to have a day off next Friday since the whole Tablante clan is going to the beach. Shucks, I wouldn't miss it for the world but if I'm needed at work I don't have any choice... :( I'm a S-L-A-V-E! --- Just finished watching the results show of AI (Country). Although I know Camile's booted out, I'm still rooting for her. Love her voice! And sobrang crush ko si JPL! He's so adorable! Just like Hugh Grant in Love Actually. Hope he sings more songs with faster tempos so he can wiggle his booty more. :) yea! |

| Just came from the family's tradition of doing the visita iglesia. First stop was the Sto. Domingo Church where we were fortunate to be able to be close to the procession of the Blessed Sacrament. It was led by a line of seminarians (who made me think of one seminarian I was afraid might be there... but I remembered he was Augustinian... whew.) and priests. Next was the San Agustin Church (where my parents got married). Each time we go here, my parents say their vows again. Well, I think they reminisce their wedding day because I can see their eyes glaze over when we enter the church. Sweet. We then proceeded on foot to the air-conditioned Manila Cathedral. Our fourth church was the Malate Church. It was my first time and I was surprised that it wasn't as cavernous as the other churches. We then had dinner at this seafood resto near Museo Pambata. Of course, the Church of the Holy Sacrifice was next. It's the domed church in my alma mater. Then we went to our parish, St. Peter along Commonwealth and last but not the least our chapel here in the subdivision. I love this tradition. Renews my faith and at the same time feeds my enthusiasm for history and architecture of our churches. I would have to say I loved Sto. Domingo the most. I like the stained glass depiction of the Way of the Cross. Very simple yet elegant. The San Agustin Church is too ornate for my taste, with all the heavy chandeliers and gold trimmings everywhere. Of course, the most solemn one would have to be our Holy Family Chapel here in the village. Its very quiet yet intense. I really feel the presence of a Higher Being there. | ||||||

It's a Friday! Yipee! I love Fridays! Tomorrow's gonna be jampacked. I have to go overtime in the morning to rush a presentation then around lunchtime will be attending two wish grants. The older kid wants a Gameboy Advance the toddler wants a TV. We have everything laid out thanks to my teammates who are all so active. Yay for us! Then at night, will be hanging out with my two fave girlfriends to watch Love Actually. Yea! Yea! Girl bonding time! :D |

This book rocks! But to the conservative Catholics it might be considered blasphemous. Just keep an open mind when reading and although the book presents some weird "facts", I try not to take it seriously and still doubt the origin of these new revelations. Everything's for the fun of it. One unputdownable book (Just like The Washington Post puts it.) Can't wait to read The Da Vinci Code. Would you believe I bought these books at National Bookstore SM Baguio! All the bookstores here in Manila are out of stock! Would I be branded as desecrative when I read The Da Vinci Code during Holy Week? I hope not... I just want to curl up in bed and read... that's all. |
