Well it's one week until the premiere and I'm pretty psyched...it's wild to have 3+ years of your life documented on film. Things don't always happen the way you remember them, and in this case you have the digital video to prove it.
I have no regrets--OK, maybe there are a few scattered fuckups here and there--but I believe where we are at any given moment is a direct result of where we've been. I've never been more excited about doing what I do, and I firmly believe it's possible to trace back the succession of events from past flubs to present victories. If you are not learning from your life unfolding about you, you are asleep.
NO SLEEP! I'll sleep plenty when I'm dead.
I'm looking forward to seeing a whole mess of people I haven't seen in a while, and the after-screening gig should be a blast. It will be fun to jam with Jay, and with Erik (the original Superhero drummer) and my current band (The SmashUp) in an acoustic setting.
As always, things are getting and bigger and better. I'll rap at ya later.
